However, there is the risk of creating urban environments with compromised data. The Blockchain has recently been proposed as a revolutionary technology that can be integrated and resolves many vulnerabilities in IoT applications. In this work, we analyze the applicability of the Blockchain to ensure the security of the data transmitted and received by the nodes of an IoT network.
