The essential physical properties and processes involved in shallow GHE behavior are described, some of which may be more complex than those required for other types of GHE. This paper discusses the use of a geothermal heat exchanger to extract underground energy for heating and cooling systems and focuses specifically on designing a ground heat exchanger made of environmentally friendly materials suitable for working in the zone of Babylon Governorate in Iraq. At different burial depths, three systems of horizontal heat exchangers were designed. The heat exchanger was designed with pipes made of peroxide cross-linked polyethylene (PEX), in which the pipes were buried to a depth of 2 m under the soil. Also, another system was designed where the pipes are made of multi-layer composite pipe (Mlcp) at a burial depth of 2.5 m and another layer at a depth of 3 m. In this research, several tests were carried out to reach the conditions in which the ground heat exchanger is at its best performance. The effect of buried depth on heat removed from the space has been studied. This test was studying at a flow rate equal to (4 lpm) and the inlet temperature of water equal to approximately (50℃). The effect of changing the flow rates on heat removed from the ground heat transfer system is being studied. Buried depth of PEX pipes is 2m, inlet water temperature (50℃) is chosen as a case study to analyze this effect. The first experimental has shown the heat removed is equal to 2200.942 watts at 8.30 am when buried at a depth of 2m, while it reaches 3679.474 watts at a depth of 3 m. The results show the maximum coefficient of performance (COP) at (3 lpm) is 12.897 and it becomes 5.99 at 4 LPM. Also, the results show that the COP of PEX pipes can be higher than that of its counterparts when pipes are made from MLCp.","PeriodicalId":38637,"journal":{"name":"Instrumentation Mesure Metrologie","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"46920529","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Recently, there is a surge in demand for comprehensive data mining techniques that can be applied on agricultural prediction. Data mining techniques can be used effectively for predicting the agricultural growth using stochastic model sensing concept which is used to perform better analysis for predicting the dataset. The proposed work introduces a stochastic model that can be applied for agricultural data to predict the growth of any crops using primary time series datasets The framework has assisted in taking correct decisions to classify the dataset based on the threshold value of micro and macro nutrient obtained from National Food Security Mission (NFSM). This paper focus on analyzing the stochastic pattern that assist the proportion of micronutrient elements and also predicts the feature that affect the growth of agriculture by increase or decrease the level of micronutrient elements. Thus, the Expected Growth of Agriculture (EGA) has increased or decreased based on the strength of soil nutrients. Moreover, it will recommend chemical fertilizers and nutrients range to improvise the agriculture growth for each crop. The processed soil sample dataset based on the threshold value of micro nutrient level is obtained from National Food Security Mission (NFSM). There are several numerical illustrations that are performed for micronutrient data prediction as well as analyze the increase or decrease of growth level in agriculture based on micronutrient levels like Fe, Mn, Zn and Cu using Stochastic Weibull Distribution (SWD) model.","PeriodicalId":38637,"journal":{"name":"Instrumentation Mesure Metrologie","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"44729934","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The farmers are used the feeling method to measure the range of air temperature in the oyster mushroom cultivation area so that faced the difficulty for controlling the temperature conventionally. This research describes an intelligent device to regulate the air temperature automatically using Peltier TEC-1 12706, which was assisted with ice cubes and aluminum water blocks as cool temperatures automatically online and in real-time. The online system uses the Wi-Fi module type ESP8266-01, and the reading result converts to the digital number as the mobile application shown on the LCD display. Data storage on things speak as a cloud. This research indicates that the level of accuracy of this system compared with similar measuring devices on the market has a standard deviation of error of 0.21 from the total of 30 data in a 1-hour trial. This research was compared with the conventional product (HTC-2) for knowing the sensor accuracy. The experiment result indicated that the sensor accuracy was 93.7%. The present-day networks necessitate seamless connections regardless of node position and connectivity that has to be accomplished between personal are network (PAN). In this work, a novel method called, Markov Renewal Prediction and Radial Kronecker Neural Network (MRP-RKNN) based optimized handover for seamless mobility in PAN is proposed. By employing a Markov Renewal Prediction model for Seamless Mobility along with the two-hop network architecture, in this paper, we propose a transition probabilities (TP) function to mitigate the persistent handover issue in conventional wireless communication systems. The proposed Markov Renewal Prediction model for Seamless Mobility significantly reduces handover execution time and seamless mobility handover accuracy with efficient transition probabilities. In PANs, the unavoidable deployment of low power sink nodes permits the mobile nodes with many issues in terms of Quality of Service (QoS) due to complication of recurrent handovers due to high mobility. Addressing this issue of handover optimization in the deployment of PAN, this work proposes a model called to optimize the handovers in a cost-efficient manner. In this work, Radial Kronecker Delta Neural Network is utilized for handling frequent handovers based on received signal strength and cost metrics. Here, the resultant desired output is obtained using the Radial Kronecker function being a function of two variables with which optimized handover is performed. Simulation results presented in the study exhibits the performance and prediction rate of the proposed method in terms of handover execution time, seamless mobility prediction accuracy, mobility handover cost and packet loss rate.","PeriodicalId":38637,"journal":{"name":"Instrumentation Mesure Metrologie","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"43337194","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Air suspension systems have a dynamic character that allows good handling of the road and a comfortable ride, but in a certain area for this reason the stiffness of the air suspension must be flexibly changed. The air suspension has been developed with the inclusion of a hydraulic actuator to create an additional force that withstands the incoming vibration from the road. The pneumatic suspension system parameters, such as vertical acceleration, road holding, and vertical displacement, are improved continuously based on the controllers that have been used for nonlinear pneumatic suspension systems, fractional order proportional integral derivative (FOPID), and fuzzy logic control (FLC). The genetic algorithm is utilized to tune the controller's parameters to the nonlinear active pneumatic system's 3-DOF. A model's simulation outcomes with controllers improved the suspension performance. The proposed active pneumatic system and pneumatic suspension systems are compared when a vehicle is traveling at a speed of 72 km/h on an ISO level B road to test the ability and efficiency of the system to suppress body vibration to enhance safety and provide a comfortable ride on rough roads. According to simulation results, the improved suspension substantially lowers vertical vibrations and enhances road adaptability.","PeriodicalId":38637,"journal":{"name":"Instrumentation Mesure Metrologie","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-08-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"46296704","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this work temperature profile and gas flow distribution in the thermal plasma reactor used for carbon nanotubes synthesis is studied by COMSOL Multiphysics. Two background gases Helium (He) and Nitrogen (N2) was compared. We conclude that unlike Nitrogen, Helium ensures a good recirculation in the arc chamber and therefore a good replenishment of the atmosphere by the reactants during the process.","PeriodicalId":38637,"journal":{"name":"Instrumentation Mesure Metrologie","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-08-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"45772719","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The Auto Desk Inventor programme is used to simulate the cutting process by applying cutting forces to the tool's shear surface. The interface equipment is used to measure cutting tool strains by the response of a strain gauge and the Arduino equipment to measure cutting tool temperature. In addition, the tool strain equations were used assuming that the cutting tool is fixed between the two walls (fixing region and surface of the workpiece) to get the best results at the same speed. The results refer to the lubricant in three directions, which is better than one direction due to decreasing cutting tool strain, reaction of cutting force on the shear surface of the cutting tool, and cutting tool temperature. The experimental results show that a cutting speed of 10.4 m/sec is the best for the cutting process. Furthermore, the numerical results are converged with practical results in a small correction factor (0.428), preventing the tool from vanishing.","PeriodicalId":38637,"journal":{"name":"Instrumentation Mesure Metrologie","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-08-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"43752024","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Unfortunately, this is not the case for powdered samples, where the focused laser beam will disperse the powder. This can be overcome by making the powder into pellets. But it has an inherent drawback, i.e., the minimum amount of powder is about 0.2 g to obtain a good detectable signal. To cope with this unfavorable condition, especially for the amount of powder less than 0.1 mg, we proposed a sub-target deposition method to make the pellets in this reported work. Using this method, the analyzed powder was deposited into an indented hole on a pellet substrate of KBr with the following optimum conditions, i.e., pellet's pressing pressure of 400 kPa, laser energy of 120 mJ, and a sample's heating temperature of 70℃. Microanalyses of standard powdered samples of PbO, CuO, and ZnO have been carried out with estimated detection limits of 4.7 μg, 4.6 μg, and 3.9 μg, respectively. So, this method can be used to analyze small amounts (in the microgram range) of powdered samples.","PeriodicalId":38637,"journal":{"name":"Instrumentation Mesure Metrologie","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-08-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"46840176","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The detection of outlier is getting importance in research area nowadays due to the reason that the technique has been used in various mission critical applications such as military, health care, fault recovery, and many. The analysis of functional data and its depth function plays a crucial role in statistical model for detecting outlier. The depth values alone not enough for finding outliers, since all the low depth values not be an outlier. The main problem of using classical model is that it cannot cop up with the high dimensionality of the data This paper proposed a novel technique based on Reproducing Kernel Hilbert Space curve (RKHS) for detecting outliers in functional data. The proposed RKHS model is based on a special Hilbert space curve associated with a kernel so that it reproduces each function in the space to enhance the performance of data depth function. The proposed method uses distance weighted discrimination classification that avoids overfitting the model and provides better generalizability in high dimensions. The kernel depths perform better performances for detection of outlier in a number of artificial and real data sets.","PeriodicalId":38637,"journal":{"name":"Instrumentation Mesure Metrologie","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-08-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"48041048","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
