Sao apresentadas evidencias da existencia de uma relacao de continuidade com a LA nas suas origens, no final da decada de 1940, nos EUA, e na decade de 1970, no Brasil. O campo, desde o seu nascimento, busca a compreensao de problemas socialmente relevantes que recaem sobre usos da lingua, e as possiveis solucoes para tais problemas. A partir de um breve historico do desenvolvimento da pesquisa sobre leitura no campo da LA no Brasil, sao propostos tres tipos de transformacoes da area ao longo dos ultimos 50 anos: territoriais, epistemologicas e paradigmaticas. Nesta ultima, enfocamos a importância de uma abordagem interpretativista, situada,no desenvolvimento de pesquisas em contextos educacionais, e a emergencia de uma area de pesquisa mais recente, a saber, a formacao do professor de lingua. Por fim, propomos uma agenda para a LA no Brasil com base nas caracterizacoes das pesquisas discutidas. We, researchers in the area of language, have a duty to intervene in the developing state of affairs with all that we can muster. If that means having to rethink our claims to be doing science and therefore be mere observers of the unfolding scenario lest we should be reneging on our oath to maintain value neutrality at any cost, then so be it. This article aims to present stylistic, idiomatic and interpretative characteristics in Edino Krieger's writing for his own instrument based on the analysis of Sonâncias II (1981), for violin and piano. After an introduction, we present a biographical summary of the composer (concentrating on his relationship with the violin) and approach the particularities of his musical language and his production for the instrument. Then, we present concepts and criteria used in the structural, stylistic and idiomatic analysis of the selected piece. We examine how this work manifests particularities of Krieger's third compositional phase and how his style and writing influence the interpretive choices in the process of constructing the performance. Considering the experience of the composer as a violinist, we sought to relate his writing to the idiomatic characteristics of the instrument. In Sonâncias II (1981) the intervals (both melodic and harmonic) are used as a basic structural unit. Its idiomatic nature reveals a deep mastery of the composer in writing for the instrument, despite no longer playing it during this process and having abandoned his career as a violinist early in his adulthood. Nascimento","doi":"10.20504/opus2019c2523","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.20504/opus2019c2523","url":null,"abstract":"O objetivo deste trabalho e desvelar o ritmo do baiao, identificando sua caracterizacao instrumental e ritmica a partir de fonogramas selecionados da obra de Luiz Gonzaga, considerado o criador desse genero fonografico da musica popular brasileira. Para o estudo, compoem o metodo: a escuta repetida de gravacoes dos baioes de Gonzaga, o uso de conversores e editores de audio para aprimorar a qualidade da escuta, alem da edicao de partituras das transcricoes para fundamentar analises e apontamentos, concernentes ao tecido ritmico. O ritmo do baiao e geralmente reduzido a (e representado por) uma celula considerada por varios autores como “padrao”. Um rigoroso exame da fonografia revela que as gravacoes dos baioes de Luiz Gonzaga, quanto ao aspecto ritmico do acompanhamento, apresentam variedade de padroes nas execucoes dos instrumentos que integram os grupos musicais. Os resultados da pesquisa demonstram nao haver somente um “padrao basico”, “pulsacao basica\" ou “levada padrao”, como referido na literatura musical. O baiao fonografico de Luiz Gonzaga configura uma pluralidade de padroes executados em conjunto, gerando resultantes ritmicas diversas, que por esse vies perfilam o genero de um modo muito mais amplo. This paper shows that the German Amortization System makes an inconsistent use of the interest paid in advance in its definition and generates an effective interest rate higher than the contracted, which makes this system abusive and unfair to the clients. A noção de sujeito aqui em questão é aquela decorrente do pensamento psicanalítico de Freud e Lacan. A (psico)patologia do sujeito apoia-se nas ideias de Viktor von Waizsaecker, para quem a “patologia”, diferentemente da noção biológica de “doença”, é um fenômeno que pressupõe um sujeito enquanto tal. Inspira-se, igualmente, da obra de Pierre Fédida que sustenta que a psicopatologia se refere fundamentalmente ao pathos subjetivo, em suas múltiplas dimensões semânticas de passividade, sofrimento e paixão. Bartoli","doi":"10.3303/CET1974185","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.3303/CET1974185","url":null,"abstract":"Carbon Nanodots (CNDs) are a novel class of nanocarbons that consist of discrete, quasi-spherical nanoparticles with sizes below 10 nm. Besides, due to their low cost, environmentally friendly and low toxicity, CNDs could substitute traditional semiconductor quantum dots (QDs), generally top luminescent materials, but usually made of heavy metals. A very interesting property of CNDs is their tunable emission, characterized by multi-fluorescence colors under varied excitation wavelengths. Photoluminescent CNDs properties give them potential applications in areas such as biomedicine, bioimaging, catalysis, optoelectronics and solar concentrators. Luminescent solar concentrators (LSC) are usually thin plates or sheets made of transparent polymers, such as poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA), doped with photoluminescent species. Direct and diffuse incident sunlight is absorbed by these species and the emitted visible light is guided through the polymer to be collected by attached solar cells, increasing their efficiency. CNDs are promising candidates as luminescent doping species for PMMA in preparing hybrid materials, which could be an advantageous and innovative alternative for solar cells applications. In this work, highly fluorescent nitrogen-doped CNDs (NCNDs) were prepared following a simple and controllable synthetic approach under microwave irradiation (MW). Arginine and ethylenediamine were used as carbon and nitrogen precursors and water as reaction medium. The MW parameters were optimized (240°C, 26 bar, 200 W, 180 sec) to obtain the desired properties of the final material, in terms of optical performance. Nanocomposites of NCNDs/PMMA were prepared by solution blending, with 0.1 wt.% and 0.01 wt.% of NCNDs, followed by film casting. The down conversion fluorescence behavior of NCNDs and NCND/PMMA nanocomposites were characterized by Photoluminescence spectroscopy. A broad emission peak at 356 nm was observed for the NCNDs when excited at 300 nm and the fluorescence peaks shift from 356 to 474 nm as excitation varies from 300 to 420 nm. Freitas","doi":"10.3303/CET1974205","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.3303/CET1974205","url":null,"abstract":"There is strong interest in the use of glycerol, a by-product of the biodiesel production, as feedstock for hydrogen production through reforming processes such as the supercritical water gasification reaction (SCWG). In this work, the response surface methodology was applied to the results of glycerol SCWG simulations, with the aim of analysing the conditions which enhance hydrogen formation. The simulations were carried out with the aid of the software GAMS 23.9.5, through a non-stoichiometric thermodynamic model based on Gibbs energy minimization. Those simulations presented the final compositions of the gas phase for a range of operational conditions. The three variables whose influence was analysed were: temperature (from 617.16 K to 1182.84 K), pressure (from 231.72 to 288.28 atm) and initial quantity of glycerol (from 0.0189 to 0.2311 mol). Initially, three central composite rotational designs (CCRD) were done, each one with two independent variables and two levels for each of those variables. The statistical analysis of the results was done with the aid of the software TIBCO® STATISTICA™, which presented the response surfaces, in addition to the mathematical expressions of the obtained models and their respective coefficients of determination. It was verified that the influence of the pressure on the quantity of hydrogen produced was not statistically significant. On the other hand, the temperature and the initial amount of glycerol had strong influence on the hydrogen formation. There was continuous increase in the hydrogen production as the temperature was risen, and higher amounts of that product were obtained when greater initial quantities of glycerol were used. Those tendencies were present in the results of the three 2² designs.
