Our watermarking procedure is based on the 3D wavelet transform and video scene segmentation. First, the video stream is parsed into video shots and some of shots are randomly selected to embed watermarks. By direct spread spectrum technique, a sequence of watermarks is generated from a watermark image and is adaptively added into the 3D wavelet coefficients of the video shot. However, the trade-off between time and frequency accuracy is inevitable because of the constraint of Heisenberg-Gabor inequality. Current methods such as adaptive kernel design can give satisfactory result for some particular signals, but either the prior knowledge or parameter search is needed. In addition, two novel local search operators are designed and combined into the algorithm to further improve the quality of solutions. We improved OSPF and brought forward cost adaptive OSPF (CA-OSPF). CA-OSPF is a compatible expand of OSPF, a router running CA-OSPF may dynamically adjust its interface's cost according to the utilization ratio of the interface's bandwidth, as a result, the network's load is balanced, the network's QoS and resource utilization ratio are improved. This paper presents a model-free anchorperson shot detection scheme based on the similarity among the anchorperson key frames throughout each news program. First, a news video is segmented into video shots with any effective video syntactic parsing algorithm. For each shot, a frame is extracted from the frame sequence as a representative key frame. Then the graph-theoretical clustering algorithm is performed on the key frames to identify the anchorperson frames. The anchorperson shots are further distinguished from other news video shots.
