The goal of this research is to analyze it under the title “An Analysis on The Impact of A Broken Family Towards The Children’s Behaviour as Seen in Novel: Rainbirds”. In the analysis, there are two methods of research; firstly, library research then taking opinion from experts to support the idea. To get the data, structural approach is used because the discussion is about the structure of story such as character and characterization. It uses the theory of B.F Skinner about behaviorism and Sigmund Freud about Id, Ego and Superego to analyze deeply about the behaviour of the characters and find out about their personality that leads to their actions. From the discussion, based on the psychology theory mentioned, Ren Ishida is mostly superego type of person because he often does something good although he was id-driven caused from his childhood experience in his family. Rio Nakajima on the other hand, is mostly id-driven, she tends to do action as she please without realizing the impact of her action towards herself. Each character has their struggle. Each character is battling with their problem and reacts in a different ways. This research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. The source that used to be the object of this study was the text of President Jokowi's speech about the handling of the COVID-19. Data collection did not involve the author directly, but data was obtained from the Kabar24 website which was uploaded on March 15, 2020. The data collection technique used in this study was the reading comprehension technique which was carried out with a concentration on the object to be studied. The results showed that the total number of processes was 57 data. The number of material process occurrences was 31 data with an emergence percentage of 54%, then followed by the Mental process with 11 data occurrences, with an appearance percentage of 19%, the Relational process the number of occurrences was 6 data with an appearance percentage of 11%, the Behavioral process the number of occurrences was 3 data with an occurrence percentage of 5%, the Verbal process was 2 data with an appearance percentage of 4%, and finally the Existential process was 4 data with an appearance percentage of 7%. The purposes of the research are: to improve PPIE technique for the students writing skill in Narrative text. And to know the students’ response of PPIE Technique in Narrative text. Qualitative and quantitative research methodology were combined by the researcher. In qualitative, the researcher used questionnaires, observation sheet as instrument of the research to observe and learn. Based on the quantitative research methodology, the researcher and teacher gave post-tes. The result of observation sheet for the teachers performance in cycle 1 had the mean score was about 67.84% . In cycle 2 showed that the the mean score was about 83.14%. The result of observation sheet for the students’ activities in cycle 1 the mean score was 52.54%. In second cycle mean score was 75.68%. The total score on questionaires about 12.99 and average score about 3.24. The research,especially describes the one case of communication between Indonesian people and British people in the social media WhatsApp. The main data of the research is the communication transcript in the social media WhatsApp. Besides of that, the data comes from the interview with the responden. \u0000The research is the case study of the Indonesian people and British people. The data analysis uses qualitative and descriptive method. The result of research shows the miscommunication from different cultural in English. The teachers should also pay attention to the communicative purpose of teaching EFL. This study investigates the application of teaching techniques and approaches done by EFL teacher. The researcher observed the teaching techniques applied by the lecturer as well as teaching learning process experienced by college students in English for Business classroom. Based on the research findings and discussions, it can be inferred that the lecturer applied Communicative Language Teaching and Participatory Technique which are involved in two different approaches in his class of English for Business. The two approaches are communicative and participatory approaches. Those two are applicable and appropriate to be conducted in the classroom of students in higher education. Further, it is suggested for EFL teachers to consider the classroom condition in deciding what teaching techniques to be applied.
