Twenty college students were asked to complete questionnaire and other 80 primary school students were interviewed by their teacher who wrote on the questionnaire for them. The finding reveal that wishful identification performed as the mediator between three predictors, movie preference, perceived similarity, and character's attractiveness, and the dependent variable, belief in prosocial message from media. However, perceived character's positive attributes failed to predict both mediator and the dependent variable. In the fields of publication, working on different versions of word processing and/or operating system software would deteriorate the publishing format quality. An implementation of LATEX class package for ITMSOC Journal is proposed to serve the requirement of organization due to the high precise format for publishing. Based on minimal design, our package is derived from Elsevier class and template by combining into a single file of ITMSOC class, modifying the new logo and banner, and eliminating the complicated instructions for more convenience in utilization. Partially taken from IEEE class, a feature of biography with profile picture is also applied for the emotional value improvement of publication. With the powerful Linux shell scripts and modular design of file folder system, this package supports us to manage the files in it. Yet there are few case studies on strategy in NPO or in long term care (LTC), where NPO are state-contracted vis-à-vis guided competition and cluster development. These environments are competitive, uncertain, and sensitive to interventionism. Thus, this paper fills a longstanding research gap by tracking the strategy of Organization X (X), among mid-sized LTC NPO in Singapore. Following Mintzberg (2007), we consulted public information and mapped key activities and effectiveness over 3 financial years. We then conducted interviews and sought in-depth materials, extrapolating findings onto the planned change model (PCM) to surface complexities and insight. Overall, X underwent rapid expansion and experienced sharp dips in effectiveness under a new Chief Executive Officer. Our findings suggest an emergent, entrepreneurial approach to strategy at X. Patterns of change were very stable, mostly corroborated by financial valuation, performance, and staff attrition. In comparison, organizational development was culture-driven, with similarities to Mintzberg's (2007) case study on Canadian Lady. A unique characteristic of this case was a leader who claimed a “spiritual mandate” to proselytize, and whose perception of strategic change as “reach” pervaded the organization. Another characteristic was the systemic absence of knowledge management, which may have contributed to X's ineffectiveness (including 2 years of missed subsidies for 12 facilities). We conclude with implications for payers, regulators, organizations, and scholars. In 2013, an improved version of constrained differential evolution, named ArATM-ICDE was proposed to optimize the constrained optimization problem. An archiving-based adaptive trade-off model (ArATM) was constructed to handle the constraints; resulting in an algorithm referred to as ArATM-ICDE. This paper applies ArATM-ICDE to solve constraint optimization problems in mechanical engineering. We also combine the penalty technique for constraint handling into the ICDE, named Penalty-ICDE; which compares the abilities of the constraint handling techniques. Our experiments were conducted on ten widely used constraint engineering optimization problems. The experiment results proved the ArATM-ICDE to be more reliable than the Penalty-ICDE. Additionally, ArATM-ICDE consumed a lesser number of function calls than Penalty-ICDE. This paper further compared the effectiveness of ArATM-ICDE and Penalty-ICDE with eight state-of-the-art algorithms, which revealed that ArATM-ICDE and Penalty-ICDE produced solutions of higher quality than those produced by the comparative algorithms.
