A few calibration methods have been proposed for S/H mismatches which either need training signals or cannot apply to the signals with narrow frequency range around the center of the Nyquist band. This paper proposes a statistics-based correction algorithm for S/H mismatch in 2-channel TIADCs. The mismatch parameter is identified by assuming the modulo two quasi-stationary property of the input samples, and the mismatch-induced error is reconstructed by employing variable multipliers and differentiators in Richardson iteration. Simulation results illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method and the advantage to the method based on input-free band (IFB).","PeriodicalId":383018,"journal":{"name":"2018 41st International Conference on Telecommunications and Signal Processing (TSP)","volume":"59 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131111067","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Although the resource allocation problem for CA HetNets has been extensively studied in the literature before, there are still many open challenges, including security threats. Thus, in this paper, a trust-based stable matching (SM) approach is proposed as a solution for selfish user threats in a CA HetNet. The proposed approach aims to provide secure communication to honest users by using a trust index for each user to identify and punish the selfish users gradually. The selfish user identification process in the proposed approach is based on a comparison between the difference of the promised rate and the obtained rate with a predefined threshold after each stable matching round. The identification threshold has a significant role in terms of avoiding false detection of honest users as selfish users as a result of bad channel estimation performances. Additionally, determining an appropriate punishment factor is another essential issue in order to achieve high rate and fairness performances. Thus, appropriate values of the threshold and the punishment factor are investigated in order to achieve a high fairness and low misleading ratio in this study.","PeriodicalId":383018,"journal":{"name":"2018 41st International Conference on Telecommunications and Signal Processing (TSP)","volume":"46 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124635586","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This paper portrays a blind audio watermarking scheme in transform domain using the combination of properties of audio signal extracted through singular value decomposition and general regression neural network leading to exact extraction of watermark. The security of embedded watermark is assured by using torus automorphism at the embedded side. Results from the experimental setup validate the accuracy of proposed scheme. The payload capacity of proposed algorithm is 62.5 bps. The comparison of proposed scheme with existing ones indicate that the proposed scheme has shown good efficiency in terms of robustness, payload and transparency.","PeriodicalId":383018,"journal":{"name":"2018 41st International Conference on Telecommunications and Signal Processing (TSP)","volume":"2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114162824","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, when the parameter space is large, the system identification problem becomes more challenging. In this paper, we focus on the identification of bilinear forms, where the bilinear term is defined with respect to the impulse responses of a spatiotemporal model. In this framework, we develop a proportionate normalized least-mean-square algorithm tailored for the identification of such bilinear forms. Simulation results indicate the good performance of the proposed algorithm, in terms of both convergence rate and computational complexity.","PeriodicalId":383018,"journal":{"name":"2018 41st International Conference on Telecommunications and Signal Processing (TSP)","volume":"56 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123161961","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

One typical hallmark of PD is disruption in execution of practised skills such as handwriting. This paper introduces a new methodology of kinematic features calculation based on fractional derivatives applied on PD handwriting. Discrimination power of basic kinematic features (velocity, acceleration, jerk) was evaluated by classification analysis (using support vector machines and random forests). For this purpose, 30 PD patients and 36 healthy controls were enrolled. In comparison with results reported in other works, the newly designed features based on fractional derivatives increased classification accuracy by 8 % in univariate analysis and by 10 % when employing the multivariate one. This study reveals an impact of fractional derivatives based features in analysis of Parkinsonic dysgraphia.","PeriodicalId":383018,"journal":{"name":"2018 41st International Conference on Telecommunications and Signal Processing (TSP)","volume":"33 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115279314","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is of great importance for many applications like coastline extraction and near shore ship detection. To facilitate future land-sea segmentation related research, we present, in this paper, an experimental study conducted on five color spaces (RGB, XYZ, La*b*, HSV and YCbCr) in order to show the best-performing color space for land-sea segmentation. The test is carried out on 50 images. The average segmentation results are given. The results show that the luminance-chrominance space (YCbCr, La*b*, HSV) are more appropriated than primary space (RGB, XYZ), in general. It is particularly noted that the perceptual color space HSV allows better results in land-sea segmentation application.","PeriodicalId":383018,"journal":{"name":"2018 41st International Conference on Telecommunications and Signal Processing (TSP)","volume":"100 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116216777","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This is the reason why extraction of biomarkers from speech could be reliable indicators of those diseases. The present paper aims to separate healthy speech samples and different groups of disordered speech of patients with various disease types, namely depression, Parkinson, morphological alteration of vocal organs, functional dysphonia and recurrent paresis. The correlation matrices of the time shifted values of formant frequencies (F1, F2, F3), mel-filter band energy values, mel-frequency cepstral coefficients (MFCCs), fundamental frequency (F0) and intensity were used as input for the classification of the diseases. Support vector machines and k-nearest neighbor methods were utilized to compare performances. In six-class classification experiment, the best overall accuracy was 54.75%, and the accuracy was 77.59% using re-categorization of disorders into four classes. Based on the achieved results, a speech-based diagnostic tool can be created that helps clinical staff by giving them a novel marker for diagnosis.","PeriodicalId":383018,"journal":{"name":"2018 41st International Conference on Telecommunications and Signal Processing (TSP)","volume":"17 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126588893","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
