However, this approach is limited to positive or negative FMEs and cannot be applied to FMEs with near-zero fuzzy numbers. Therefore, this paper proposes a new analytical method for solving a family of arbitrary FMEs. The proposed method is able to solve Arbitrary Generalized Trapezoidal Fully Fuzzy Sylvester Matrix Equations (AGTrFFSME), in addition to many unrestricted FMEs such as Sylvester, Lyapunov and Stein fully fuzzy matrix equations with arbitrary triangular or trapezoidal fuzzy numbers. The proposed method thus fruitfully removes the sign restriction imposed by researchers and is, therefore, better to use in several engineering and scientific applications. The AGTrFFSME is converted to a system of non-linear equations, which is reduced using new multiplication operations between trapezoidal fuzzy numbers. Chemical warfare agents are cheaper and easier to produce and deploy. Mission oriented protective posture (MOPP) equipment is used to isolate soldiers from the toxic environment . Sustained wearing of MOPP overgarments can put soldiers at the risk of dehydration and heat stress. A hierarchal adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference system (HANFIS) model is proposed to predict worst case MOPP open times for surfaces covered with chemical agent resistant coating (CARC) and sand. The model can provide decision support for commanders when determining MOPP open or unmasking time. It can handle the imprecise nature of parameters used in scheduler. This paper introduces an adaptive fuzzy based Highest Response Ratio Next CPU scheduler which is an extension of conventional CPU scheduler. Proposed scheduler works in 2 layers. At the first layer, a Fuzzy Inference System is defined which handles the uncertainties of parameters and at the second layer, an adaptive scheduling algorithm is used to schedule each task. Proposed scheduler intelligently generates the response ratio for each ready to run task which makes the system adaptive at run time. The work is compared with the conventional highest response ratio next scheduling and the existing fuzzy highest ratio next scheduling algorithms. Results validate the better performance of proposed scheduler. To formalize the set of feasible alternatives, the concept of intersection of crisp sets with a fuzzy set of operands is used. The result of this operation is a type-2 fuzzy set (T2FS) (a fuzzy set whose membership function takes a fuzzy set of values). Furthermore, the corresponding membership function is given. It is shown that the T2FS of feasible alternatives can be represented in the form of the collection of T2FSs with constant secondary grades. The notion of the solution T2FS to the mathematical programming problem with a fuzzy set of constraint indices is proposed. The basic properties of the solution T2FS are investigated. The notion of a compromise maximizing solution is given. Several results are proved that make it possible to simplify its construction. To reduce the cost of supply chain and to improve the quality of the products, selection of a relevant supplier has become one of the crucial decisions. The objective of this study is to utilize analytical hierarchy process (AHP) in the environment of interval type-2 fuzzy (IT2F) to deal with the ambiguity and vagueness in the problem of supplier selection. A real-world application is also carried out in this study to exhibit the efficacy and effectiveness of the proposed IT2FAHP model. According to the research, the most crucial elements that are effective in selecting suppliers are cost, responsiveness, ability, and reliability. Based on these factors, the most effective supplier has been selected in this study.
