However, the rapid development of a framework for telemedicine implementation necessitates the investigation of the existing acceptance and satisfaction of Filipino respondents and physicians. This study assessed the satisfaction of patients with telemedicine in Tuguegarao City in terms of system, information and healthcare service quality. Employing a descriptive quantitative design was used and 230 respondents were included and selected through snowball sampling. A structured questionnaire based on Yip et al., (2003), Bakken et al., (2006), Lin, Z. (2017), and Parmanto et al., (2016) was also used. Gathered data were analyzed using mean, frequency, and percentage while test of significant difference was also conducted using independent sample T-test and One-way ANOVA. Results indicate slight satisfaction among telemedicine users in Tuguegarao City across quality dimensions: system, information, and health service. Moreover, significant differences in the level of satisfaction exist in the respondent’s age, educational attainment, average monthly income, occupation, type of residences, and number of health services availed. It was revealed that respondents who are 18 to 24 years old and are commonly senior high school and college graduates had the lower level of satisfaction with the overall quality of telemedicine. While respondents with lower monthly income, in rural areas and who availed more than two services appeared to have better satisfaction with telemedicine services. In conclusion, the results of the study showed that the respondents are slightly satisfied with the telemedicine services within Tuguegarao City.","PeriodicalId":381001,"journal":{"name":"South Asian Research Journal of Nursing and Healthcare","volume":"140 30","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-05-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140976643","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This growth and development are influenced by nutritious and balanced food intake and intensive stimulation by parents. If children are given intensive stimulation from their environment, especially in the family, then children will be able to undergo their developmental tasks well. This study aims to analyse parents' knowledge and behaviour in providing early childhood development stimulation. This study used a descriptive correlational design with a cross sectional approach conducted at RA Qurrota A'yun Kepanjen Malang Regency East Java Indonesia in 2023 which was attended by 56 respondents. The result of this study is that there is a relationship between knowledge and parental behaviour in providing developmental stimulation in early childhood with a p value of 0.003 and a relationship strength of 0.390 which reflects that the strength of the relationship is quite strong and positive.","PeriodicalId":381001,"journal":{"name":"South Asian Research Journal of Nursing and Healthcare","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-05-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141006261","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study aims to determine the effect of therapeutic group therapy on the incidence of temper tantrums in toddler-aged children. The research design used in this research is a quasi-experimental research design with a pretest–posttest approach using a control group. This research was conducted in October 2023 in Pakisaji, Malang Regency. This research involved 9 children (aged 2-3 years) in the Pakisaji sub-district area as the treatment group and 9 other children as the control group. The treatment group was given 6 sessions of therapeutic group therapy over a period of 3 weeks. The results of the analysis using the paired sample test showed that in the treatment group there was a significant difference in the value of children's temper tantrums before and after being given treatment, namely with a value of p=0.039 (<0.05). Meanwhile, in the control group, the p value = 0.085 (> 0.05) was obtained, which indicated that there was no significant difference. The results of the analysis of differences in the incidence of temper tantrums before and after treatment between the treatment group and the control group were carried out using an independent sample t test and the results obtained were p=0.387 (>0.05). These results show that there is no significant difference in the incidence of pre and post temper tantrums between the treatment and control groups. The conclusion of this study proves that there is no significant influence from the application of Therapeutic Group Therapy on the incidence of temper tantrums in toddler. because there are many factors that can influence it including the parenting style of parents.","PeriodicalId":381001,"journal":{"name":"South Asian Research Journal of Nursing and Healthcare","volume":"12 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-02-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140419115","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Every year, about 1.15 million new instances of breast cancer are diagnosed worldwide. The high death rate among women owing to breast cancer is exacerbated by late-stage diagnosis. Aim: To evaluate the impact of a teaching program on female students' knowledge of breast self-examination. Methodology: The quantitative educational and evaluative research approach was deemed the most suitable for this investigation. The research design was \"A Quasi Experimental Study to Evaluate the Effectiveness of a Structured Teaching Program on Breast Self-Examination Knowledge and Practice among Female College Students in a Selected College in Panipat.\" Stratified random sampling was utilized to determine the sample. The data collection instruments were self-administered. Two-part multiple-choice questionnaire, with the first section containing demographic data and the second assessing knowledge of breast self-examination. The data were analyzed and hypotheses tested using descriptive statistics (frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation) and inferential statistics (Chi square, paired \"t\" test). Results: At the 0.05 level, a comparison of the pre-test mean of 8.35 and the post-test mean of 24.18 for breast self-examination knowledge was found to be statistically significant. This study demonstrates that an educational program is effective at increasing breast self-examination awareness. Conclusion: Overall, the results of this study showed that female students' understanding and practice of BSE were greatly improved because to the structured training program. Therefore, an effective health education campaign should be developed to raise awareness and encourage regular self-breast examination among college-aged women in order to detect breast cancer at an earlier stage.","PeriodicalId":381001,"journal":{"name":"South Asian Research Journal of Nursing and Healthcare","volume":"9 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127009033","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The phenomenon of bullying has become a school safety issue that cannot be ignored. Research on the main factors affecting school bullying will help prevent and control school bullying, establish a long-term prevention system, provide effective suggestions and countermeasures for building a harmonious campus and provide educators with a scientific basis. Method: Through questionnaire surveys, we conducted descriptive statistics on the phenomenon of campus bullying among students of different grades, used principal component analysis to reduce dimensionality to obtain new public factors, established multiple linear regression equations, and analyzed the influence of age, gender, identity, whether to join the computer to enter school, skip class, peers on four types of bullying: verbal bullying, cyber bullying, physical bullying, and relationship bullying. Results: The bullying method is mainly verbal bullying, followed by relational bullying and physical bullying, and cyber bullying is the lowest. Boys are more likely to be bullied than girls, and the difference in bullying between boys and girls is more reflected in physical bullying and verbal bullying. Peer relationship is one of the main factors leading to campus bullying, and the proportion of students without friends being bullied is as high as 75.76%. The comparison between day students and boarding students shows that boarding students are more victims of bullying than day students. Conclusion: Students with different academic performance types have different rates of bullying victimization, and students with poor academic performance are more likely to be bullied. Students with good academic performance are more likely to be popular in the class, so grades seem to be a favorable factor to protect themselves from bullying. If school bullying is not stopped, it may become a violent incident, so educators and parents should be aware of and monitor it as soon as possible.","PeriodicalId":381001,"journal":{"name":"South Asian Research Journal of Nursing and Healthcare","volume":"235 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116205273","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
