The proposed model combines different technologies as connection and connectionless networking, optical cable and wireless (microwave/millimeter wave or optical wireless) and it is suitable for a variety of purposes and services in order to achieve global broadband networking. The model assumes specific DWDM channels are dedicated to real time and non-real time service traffic. The network intelligence has to be located at IP routers and it has to provide the real-time subnetwork including microwave radio-over-fiber with a sufficient number of wavelengths according to the instantaneous demand. All remaining available wavelengths are dedicated to packet traffic. We also discuss transparency fundamental limitations due to physical constraints as dispersion, polarization mode dispersion, and fiber nonlinearities, and we evaluate the achievable network performance, and security issues.","PeriodicalId":380710,"journal":{"name":"2006 Multiconference on Electronics and Photonics","volume":"451 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115286464","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

These heuristic functions use an n-levels search prior to decide which action is better. Traditional model are implemented using only one search level to extract a quality solution plan for planning problems. Experimental results show that the quality of the solution obtained is better in many cases, when considering more levels of heuristic search instead of only one level. Additionally, the execution time of the solution plan when using an n-level search is less than the one that is obtained when using only one level. Our method also improves the performance for a variety of planning problems.","PeriodicalId":380710,"journal":{"name":"2006 Multiconference on Electronics and Photonics","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125424862","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

With this device, we obtain the distribution of illumination due to punctual sources in the visible range. This meter can be also used as quality control device for lamps and bulbs. We are interested in the distribution of the irradiance, instead of the total irradiance over a complete region, which is the information given by spherical meters, such as the Ulbrich spheres. The obtained discrete profiles corresponds to the irradiance, as equivalent to the voltage intensity detected in semispherical detector basic sensor. These voltage values permit us to obtain the corresponding profile to each source and give as the capability to chose the better sources for specifics tasks.","PeriodicalId":380710,"journal":{"name":"2006 Multiconference on Electronics and Photonics","volume":"68 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129669678","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
