It uses a dynamic memory partitioning algorithm where a VHDL test-bench is developed to verify the functionality of the dynamically configured memory. Results demonstrate that critical memory operations such as “read miss”, “write miss” and “write bypass” can be performed using newly proposed low power, area efficient dynamically configured memory.","PeriodicalId":379699,"journal":{"name":"2010 Seventh International Conference on Information Technology: New Generations","volume":"29 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-04-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114346237","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A GUI contains graphical objects with certain distinct values which can be used to determine the state of the GUI at any time. Software developing organizations always desire to test the software thoroughly to get maximum confidence about its quality. But this requires gigantic effort to test a GUI application due to the complexity involved in such applications. This problem has led to the automation of GUI testing and different techniques have been proposed for automated GUI Testing. Event-flow graph is a fresh technique being used in the field of automated GUI testing. Just as control-flow graph, another GUI model that represents all possible execution paths in a program, event-flow model, in the same way, represents all promising progressions of events that can be executed on the GUI. Another challenging question in software testing is, “How much testing is enough?” As development proceeds, there are fewer measures available that can be used to provide guidance on the quality of an automatic test suite. Genetic algorithm searches for the best possible test parameter combinations that are according to some predefined test criterion. Usually this test criterion corresponds to a “coverage function” that measures how much of the automatically generated optimization parameters satisfies the given test criterion. In this paper, we have attempted to exploit the event driven nature of GUI. Based on this nature, we have presented a GUI testing and coverage analysis technique centered on genetic algorithms.","PeriodicalId":379699,"journal":{"name":"2010 Seventh International Conference on Information Technology: New Generations","volume":"16 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-04-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121436408","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

There are various configurations of replica control protocols that provide various levels of these qualities. Existing replication protocols implement a single configuration that is suitable for achieving the quality goal for a given external situation. If the situation changes, the quality will deteriorate. In this paper we present the MARR middleware that supports multiple replication configurations in a system. MARR can be set up during deployment to start in a particular configuration according to the anticipated external situation. This allows the same middleware to be used for different replication needs. If the situation changes during production MARR is designed to dynamically adapt and reconfigure the replication to maintain the service qualities. For example, if the request pattern from the clients changes from read intensive to update intensive, MARR can adapt from a single master configuration to a multi-master in order to maintain system performance.","PeriodicalId":379699,"journal":{"name":"2010 Seventh International Conference on Information Technology: New Generations","volume":"21 6","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-04-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"120870007","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In our previous work we have developed approaches to detect logical dependencies among artifacts in repositories and calculated different metrics. But that is not enough, because in order to use change impact analysis a detailed process with guidelines on the one hand, and appropriate tools on the other hand will be needed. To show the importance of such an approach, we have gathered problems and analyzed requirements in the field of a social insurance company. Based on these requirements we have developed a process and a tool which helps analysts in performing activities along the defined process. In this paper we present the tool for change impact analysis and the significance of the tight integration of the tool into the process.","PeriodicalId":379699,"journal":{"name":"2010 Seventh International Conference on Information Technology: New Generations","volume":"157 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-04-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"120871174","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The standard provides a basic infrastructure for the management of vehicle functions The aim of this research is to add a RTE module for the earlier development tool, and design a new vehicle code generator based on the AUTOSAR platform. This paper is devoted to the implementation of an augmented ontology-based information retrieval system with external open-source resources from MIT OpenCourseWare that uses Protégé to design and build the structure of HyperManyMedia ontology as means of retrieving documents in two languages, English and Spanish. In addition, this paper deals with clustering the augmented documents, the outcome of the Clustering Analysis is added to the domain ontology as additional leaves under the “SubSubSubconcept = lecture”. From each cluster, we extract the keywords (descriptive terms), then we modify the ontology accordingly by adding the cluster’s terms as semantic terms under the “SubSubSubconcept = lecture” to which these documents belong.
