To use spectrum efficiently various models were designed by researchers. Game theoretical models are few of the efficient techniques recently introduced in wireless communications. Game models are very useful for opportunistic selection of spectrum and help to utilize available spectrum efficiently. We introduced the spectrum underlay model and discussed the current state of allocation algorithms. We then introduced the congestion game model for opportunistic spectrum access with minimum interference. The theoretical results conclude that the congestion game model helps to use the underlay spectrum efficiently with minimum interference.","PeriodicalId":379699,"journal":{"name":"2010 Seventh International Conference on Information Technology: New Generations","volume":"140 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-04-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124408951","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Initially, a 2D grid map is defined as the bottom surface of the cushion seat based on the required resolution. Then each point in the 2D grid map is projected onto one surface point in the 3D pixel-based point cloud. The height of each surface point is approximated using the nearest neighbor algorithm. A tool box is developed for the visualization the constructed 3D surface model. The height of the 3D surface computed using this tool box is compared with the manually designed cushion seat at Precision Rehab Manufacturing Inc. and found to be within tolerance.","PeriodicalId":379699,"journal":{"name":"2010 Seventh International Conference on Information Technology: New Generations","volume":"4 4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-04-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117342306","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This framework was successfully implemented in an Industrial Software Factory. That was possible through the implementation of a proposed Continuous Integration CI) environment to periodically analyze source codes and extract metrics. These metrics were consolidated in a Data Warehouse by allowing On-line Analytical Processing (OLAP) and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) analysis with high-performance and user-friendly interface. The measurement program followed GQ(I)M paradigm for metrics selection to ensure that collected metrics are relevant from the Software Factory goals perspective. Finally, the Measurement and Analysis Process Area of the Capability Maturity Model integration - CMMi was used for measurement and analysis planning and implementation.","PeriodicalId":379699,"journal":{"name":"2010 Seventh International Conference on Information Technology: New Generations","volume":"17 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-04-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115015241","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The proposed approach is motivated by the following observations. First, a median based noise removal approach can be considered as a variation of neighborhood interpolation which is based on the zero-order polynomial. Second, it is well known that the performance of first-order polynomial interpolation is generally better than that with the zero-order. Therefore, a better quality of restored image can be generally expected when a first-order polynomial interpolation is applied in the noise removal. With the noise detection approach described in [15], the proposed GPI based noise removal approach is justified by four examples where comparisons are made with the median based approach reported in [11]. The results indicate that the proposed approach generally outperforms the compared approach.","PeriodicalId":379699,"journal":{"name":"2010 Seventh International Conference on Information Technology: New Generations","volume":"44 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-04-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122292992","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Finding suitable components to construct an efficient and comprehensive product line with low costs is one of the critical problems in this domain which demands to be satisfied. In this paper a method is presented which can manage and control complexities of component selection problem, an NP problem, and result in creation of declared product line. By making use of this method, a product line will be constructed with suitably-adopted components to cover up requirements based on architecture; that’s why software product line development process will enhance in reducing risks and costs of development.","PeriodicalId":379699,"journal":{"name":"2010 Seventh International Conference on Information Technology: New Generations","volume":"32 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-04-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122425684","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However satisfiability can be proved using Truth Tables, but design of truth table for a Boolean function of large number of variables is trivial. SAT algorithms have to handle hundreds of thousands of millions of variables and clauses. One of the major problems in the area of computer science is to have higher productivity or developing algorithms that are efficiently utilizing the power of computers. Researchers are doing a lot of research and hence developing various techniques and algorithms to reduce the required computation time to minimum. Most of the satisfiability techniques are based on the search algorithms given by Martin Davis, George Logemann and Donald Loveland which performs a branching search with backtracking. In order to combine the powers of both local search and DPLL-based search, the previous approaches mainly tried to embed the local search result into a DPLL-based SAT solver to guide the decision order. In such approaches, the local search is invoked at each DPLL decision step to supply the information for the next decision. On the contrary, in this approach, the local search portion is used to identify a subset of clauses, which are passed to a DPLL-based incremental SAT solver. Furthermore, the solution obtained by the incremental DPLL solver on the subset of clauses is fed back to the local search solver to jump over the locally optimal points encountered in the previous iteration to continue the search.","PeriodicalId":379699,"journal":{"name":"2010 Seventh International Conference on Information Technology: New Generations","volume":"82 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-04-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122622154","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
