In which we considered some factors, such as the forcing frequency, the rate of the current and voltage at zero passage (di/dt, dv/dt), the charging voltage of the commutation circuit capacity, and the current magnitude. The experiment was performed on a synthetic test circuit, which composed by the RC main current circuit, LC commutation circuit and a cup type AMF contactor, which electrodes' diameter is 66mm, and gap is 4mm and a plane one for miniaturization use. The experiment showed that with the forcing frequency increases (2.3 kHz, 3.1 kHz, and 4.2 kHz) and other factors the same, the forcing arc duration decreased obviously, and the rate of the di/dt raised. Meanwhile the peak of the arc overvoltage raise, the voltage noise get smooth, and the inverse arc current peak increase. In other experiments, we fixed the di/dt. Under the same circuit parameters, the current magnitude influenced the current and voltage peak value, And the charging voltage determine the arc duration. 3 types waveform for the failure interruption, and the di/dt-dv/dt characteristics was investigated. And the distribution of the chaotic characteristic in the electric field has the consistency and uniformity feature. The pressure may unexpectedly increase due to a slow leak through cracks after a long period of operation in the power system. Several methods for monitoring the pressure onsite have been proposed so far, but most of them are poor in the ability to checkup the hazardous pressure level of 1 Pa or less. The present paper reports the results of a primitive attempt conducted for diagnostic purposes. The data used to build the forecasting model is obtained from artificial pollution test. The proposed insulation fault risk forecasting model calculates the insulation fault probability under given environmental factors. A 3-D simulation model of arc chamber including ferromagnetic splitter plates is built and calculated, which is based on magneto-hydrodynamics theory. Coupled electromagnetic and gas dynamic interactions are considered as usual, and a thin layer of nonlinear electrical resistance elements is used to represent the voltage drop of plasma sheath and the formation of new arc roots. Therefore, the arc-splitting process with ferromagnetic plates can be included. To reduce the time consuming, the arc simulation results of arc commutation process from contact to arc runner is taken as the calculation initial condition in the model. Arc motion is described in detail by the temperature distribution. And the distribution of Mach number in gas flow field under different opening strokes were simulated using finite volume method (FVM), and the density, the pressure, the velocity, and the temperature distribution of the gas flow were obtained and especially the above gas flow parameter variations at the region of the shock wave formed have been calculated. And the fundamental solution of the equations describing the gas flow in the SF6 CB has been resolved using separation of variables method, and 1D differential equations with constant coefficient were derived. Based on the proposed model, the bifurcation diagrams at different opening strokes have been calculated. The results show that for the gas flow with different velocity, the system exhibits periodic, quasi-periodic or even chaotic behavior in the arc quenching chamber. Aim to the problem, a new modeling language named RML and a distributed simulation method were proposed for the design of the aerospace electromagnetic relay. Through the secondary development of the related software, such as FLUX, ANSYS, ADAMS et al., the model of the relay built by RML could be recognized by any software above. The integrated simulation system of the aerospace electromagnetic relay was developed by the C++ Builder software. The system has the functions of the parameter design and kinematic analysis. The design and analysis of the relay are simplified for a certain extent when the system in the paper was adopted. The main architecture of the 252kV circuit breaker is determined in which double chamber of interrupter construction + dual-direction moving of contacts mode are introduced. The key structure design parameter have been optimized combined with the design experiences of the finalized product: The volume of thermal expand chamber and puffer chamber as well as the cooperation between them are determined which ensures the breaking of the high current. Electric field analysis software is used to calculate, analyze and optimize the electric field strength of the circuit breaker contacts in some sensitive positions. Improving airflow channel for the decrease of the gas density is to be restrained and the hot gas exhaust efficiency is to be increased. As a result, the medium condition is improved. All the test verification has achieved for the researched and developed circuit breaker, and the product have been on stream. In this paper, based on the setup of two typical GIS defect models including needle-to-plate and insulator surface, gas decomposition products were detected by IRprestige-21 Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectrophotometer. Types, concentrations and trends of typical gas decomposition products were analyzed. Moreover, influences of acquisition and transportation duration on detection results were studied.
