Data related to the shareholding and delegated behavior of private shareholders among the top ten shareholders are utilized. Using a fixed-effects model, we empirically analyze the impact of private companies' participation in the mixed reform of state-owned enterprises on the value preservation and appreciation of state-owned assets at the equity level and the management right level. Explore the moderating effects of internal control and the level of market-oriented development on the above relationships. The study shows that the participation of private enterprises in the mixed reform of SOEs can effectively contribute to the value preservation and appreciation of state-owned assets, both at the equity level and at the management level. Meanwhile, the level of internal control of SOEs has a significant positive moderating effect on the relationship between the participation of private firms in SOEs' mixed reform and the value-added of SOEs' assets; The participation of private firms can effectively compensate for the impact of insufficient market development on the value-added of SOEs' assets.","PeriodicalId":379444,"journal":{"name":"Interscience Management Review","volume":"17 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115353214","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

If about half of the nation's human resources are neglected, the overall progress of the country would obviously be hampered. Women empowerment has become one of the most central concerns and need of the hour but in reality, the situation is not good enough. In the traditional patriarchal society, women have been given a secondary status which is reflected in the economic, social and political spheres. However, women equality and empowerment has always remained a priority area and has been taken utmost care by stake holders. Gender mainstreaming propels progress towards the ultimate goal of attaining gender equality and women empowerment. In this direction policies and programmes at different levels to cover various proportions and strategies of gender development have been framed by the government of India. The paper critically examines women empowerment in India, various challenges and strategies. The paper discusses constitutional safe guards as well as plans and programmes by the government and their implementation, indicators of women empowerment in India. Finally, this paper is an attempt to examine the status of women in India and provides some policy suggestions for women empowerment.","PeriodicalId":379444,"journal":{"name":"Interscience Management Review","volume":"37 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128412172","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The study generated responses from 113 employees belonging to the private and public organizations in India. The main statistical tools used for the survey are multiple dichotomy analysis and the interclass correlation coefficient. The study revealed that the perspective of men on the subject of respect in the workplace differs from that of women. Thus, where men primarily associate respect with recognition, women, on the other hand, associate respect with fairness in terms of equal access to opportunities at the workplace. The policy implications of this study draw a parity line for men and women at the workplace to appreciate each other, as such relations purport to be indices for the growth and development of organizations. In view of this, elements that promote respect among the organizational workforce should be prioritized when formulating company policies.","PeriodicalId":379444,"journal":{"name":"Interscience Management Review","volume":"18 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126482675","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The majority of researchers in Ghana have focused mostly on secondary and tertiary hospitals in Ghana, paying less attention to basic healthcare settings, which are the main entrance points for the majority of emergency situations. The purpose of this study was to investigate how patients perceived receiving high-quality care in private hospitals in Ghana's emergency rooms. A sample of 160 patients was used to explore perception on quality care delivery at the Emergency Department (ED) of private hospitals in Ghana.The findings showed that patients thought doctors had adequate knowledge in their field based on their ability to assess, prescribe appropriate medications, and request diagnostic investigations that are pertinent to the working diagnosis, even though they thought the physical care and information flow at the ED was subpar. The study suggests using a digital compliant management system that enables patients to express their issues in real time, along with a high degree of responsiveness. Future studies may also investigate the perceptions of particular patient populations to discover requirements unique to them, thus enhancing the patient-centered approach to care, taking into account that the study examined the viewpoints of a variety of patient demographics.","PeriodicalId":379444,"journal":{"name":"Interscience Management Review","volume":"21 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128704059","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

So far as the business and management of infrastructure companies are concerned, it is needless to say that it is an established industry. However, after these high rise buildings become habitable, and are handed over to the housing societies or Resident Welfare Associations (Hereafter referred as RWAs), there are many issues and challenges faced by the apartment owners. The motivation behind the study of social, ethical and legal aspect of RWAs/Housing Societies of India is therefore taken up, and we have carried out some study while managing a society from its day-one management.\u0000\u0000As on date, RWA management is a complex subject as it covers Security, Hospitality, Soft Services, Support Services, House Keeping, Technical Services such as Lift, Electrical Power and Pest Control Management Services. In fact, these facilities have to be managed with a fixed annual budget, collected through Common Area Maintenance (CAM) charges from all the residents. Many of us have the misconception that managing the society within the stipulated CAM (Common Area Maintenance) charges is the only challenge faced by the RWA office bearers, as collection of service changes is always a challenging issue. However, almost all of us forget to abide by the statutory compliances such as Minimum wages, ESI, EPF and GST rules of the government notified from time to time. In addition RWA should follow the norm of City Development Authority, Fire Safety Department, State Pollution Control Board and other statutory bodies, who issue the compliance certificates for the facilities available in the premises after due inspection, which is a mandatory requirement for community living. Therefore, we have made an attempt to highlight this area, so that more study can be carried out and we can have a better living.","PeriodicalId":379444,"journal":{"name":"Interscience Management Review","volume":"46 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124920880","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
