Coastal Islam is Islam that has transcended long dialogue in the span of society's history and transcended serious struggles to produce a characteristic Islam. This Islamic style is called as collaborative Islam, which is the result of joint construction between the agents and the society that produces a distinctive Islamic style, ie, Islam that is in contact with the local culture. Not solely pure Islam but also not solely Javanese. Coastal Islam is a dynamic combination that accepts and interprets Islam with local culture. The research method used in this study was the Research and Development (R&D) which from four stages was simplified into three, consisting of (1) defining, (2) designing, and (3) development. The subjects of this research were fourth grade students of SDN Kalibanteng Kidul 03, a public elementary school in Semarang. The data was collected using interviews, tests, observations, and questionnaires. The data analysis used the descriptive qualitative and quantitative techniques. The result of the development of the printed teaching material was valid. The validity score also met the excellent category. According to the result and discussion on the research of the science SETS– based teaching material development for character building reinforcement, it is advised that the printed version of science SETS – based teaching material, which has been developed with a valid result within the competence of natural resources, need to be tested in a wider scale so that teachers are able to utilize the printed science SETS – visionary teaching material as a supplement for the learning process in the attempt of character building reinforcement. Some of the problems that triggered this were sentiments to religion, ethnicity, social, economic and political issues. This paper will provide an overview of the concept of conflict resolution that can be given as a solution about conflict resolution in Myanmar. This research is a qualitative research that reveals phenomena related to conflict Rohingnya, both the root of the conflict and the concept of conflict resolution that can be given. Concept of conflict resolution by looking at the source of the problem and formulating a form of conflict resolution by adopting conflict resolution in Indonesia mainly from conflict resolution in Poso, Ambon and Sampit. Forms of conflict resolution can be done by conflict resolution based on political recognition. The settlement is expected to resolve the conflict due to political, legal, economic, social, religious and cultural issues. The research is based on the phenomenon of the lack of successful development in fulfilling the basic rights of the people in the border areas between Indonesia and Malaysia. Using qualitative research methodology and using descriptive analytical processing, the intention is expected to answer some research questions, that is by using the question how the implementation and empowerment of society to border area. The data collection is done by literature study and secondary data through documentation from various information which is one of the news media and by going down in the field by looking at the condition in Jagoi Babang field, Bengkayang Regency, West Kalimantan Province. The results showed that the effectiveness of development and community empowerment for the border area is determined by three main activities namely organization, interpretation and application. The organization deals with structuring, understanding organizational goals and functions, communication capabilities and cooperation based on the division of labor based on authority, availability of resources of actors and transparency of information, as well as resources available to support a policy. Coherent interpretation with clarity, precision and consistency in interpreting a government's policies and regulations, knowledge and ability to interpret and understand a policy, community co-operation with government agencies and other institutions, procedures taken and capacity to accommodate the needs of the community. Applications related to the implementation of good tasks, availability of support resources, frequency and intensity of meetings and community assistance, limited environmental factors, application of regulations, timeliness in work, control over deviations of activities occurring, financial support as well as aspects of accountability. The Organization for Accelerating the Development of Disadvantaged and Special Areas (P2DTK), which is a policy of the Central and Regional Governments, has made policies to support border areas. Implementation of the field can lead to different interpretations by different implementors and target groups at various levels. The surrounding environmental conditions can also affect success in the implementation of development in the area. It seems that the policy is still impressed nuanced centralistic and still thick with top-down development paradigm. So that in carrying out its development can lead to multiple interpretations in the field. in fact, at the level of application is less in line with the basic public needs, this condition is in line with the center-periphery theory that further strengthens the periphery of the periphery. This research with crossectional approach is implemented in slums located in Bagan Deli Village, Medan Belawan Subdistrict. The population is a family that has elderly or elderly, although different from home and others. The sample was taken by purposively as many as 124 families. Dependent variable is state of mental health of elderly and independent is characteristic of family (age, education, occupation, residence status). The analysis is done by using chi square. Outcome: Age and family work related to mental health. Educational background, family residence status not related to mental health of elderly. To escape from such condition, it needs a good political education. Then, what kind of political education is considered to be a solution in realizing a humanist Islamic education. Trough literature and thoughts review, this paper concluded two things. First, humanist Islam holds that the substantial moral values brought by the Qur'an have given clear guidance on how human life is built on the values of justice and equality. The main purpose of the Qur'an is to provide guidance in the form of values and commands of social ethics that are upheld and binding in the socio-political activities of mankind.
