Based on certain scheme, the Rotation-Modulation Strap-down Inertial Navigation System (RMSINS) can modulate the errors of inertial sensors; therefore, the precision of navigation system can be improved. But the errors of initial alignment of the system cannot be modulated. So it is essential to study on the initial alignment technology of rotation-modulation system and to find a proper alignment scheme for such systems. In this paper, especially aimed at single-axis RMSINS, the error models of the sensors are deduced and established. The open loop gyrocompass method is introduced and improved. The results of semi-physical simulation based on recursive least square algorithm prove that the alignment scheme provides high precision, rapid speed and valid effect. The research will have important value for the theoretical research of RMSINS and its engineering implementation.","PeriodicalId":376265,"journal":{"name":"2012 Third International Conference on Intelligent Control and Information Processing","volume":"12 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-07-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115028607","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Nowadays, both Wireless Wide Area Network and Wireless Personal Area Network has been given a lot of concern and research. Wireless Sensor Network integrated the wireless communication technique, sensor technology and computer technology, is the foundation of \"The Internet of things\" and tops the list of ten technology which has profound impact on human future life. WSN has been widely used on military defence, anti-terrorism, health and environmental monitoring, and it has improved the connection between human, machine and environment to a new level. Obviously, all these appalication need the WSN to be lower power consumption, rapid topology, good real-time and so on. Above all, low power consumption bears the brunt. In order to improve the performance of the network and increase the lifetime of the network, we need to lower the power consumption of sensor node in the wireless sensor network. In this paper, an improved AODV routing protocol based on minimal route cost is presented, and OPNET is used to simulate the throughput, end-to-end delay and other parameters for evaluating the performance of the wireless sensor network with the improved protocol, the simulated results show the validation of the presented improved AODV.","PeriodicalId":376265,"journal":{"name":"2012 Third International Conference on Intelligent Control and Information Processing","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-07-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114569530","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, two shortcomings of the existing fuzzy time series forecasting methods are that they lack persuasiveness in partitioning interval and fuzzifying data. This paper introduces a new fuzzy time series method based on fuzzy c-means (FCM) clustering. Firstly, a formula based on distance is proposed to calculate cluster number. Secondly, based on the cluster number, unequal-sized intervals are obtained. Thirdly, a new definition method of the fuzzy sets is objectively given by distance in data fuzzification. Finally, the optimal forecasting results are obtained by tuning the distance parameter and utilizing the standard error (RMSE). Meanwhile, the optimal cluster number is determined by the smallest standard error (RMSE). The forecasting of Alabama university enrollments shows that the method outperforms the existing some methods.","PeriodicalId":376265,"journal":{"name":"2012 Third International Conference on Intelligent Control and Information Processing","volume":"36 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-07-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125166155","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Four numerical tasks (pointing count, estimating count, simple adding, and simple subtracting) and a standard child gambling task (CGT) have been administrated on 62 Chinese mandarin-speaking preschoolers (mean age = 55.69 months, range = 43 months to 65 months, 30 boys and 32 girls). The results demonstrate that the Pearson correlation between preschoolers' numerical competence and their ADM in each block of the CGT is significant, and the proportion advantageous minus the proportion disadvantageous from the preschoolers with better numerical competence is consistently higher than that from the preschoolers with poorer numerical competence in each block of the CGT, suggesting that better numerical competence will help preschoolers make more advantageous choices on the CGT. For the ubiquitous phenomenon in servo system, this paper proposes a strategy for online detection and suppression of mechanical resonance. The Shifted Discrete Fourier Translations (SDFT) is employed to detect the existence of mechanical resonance and its information in real time, which is used to determine the parameters of the notch filter. To eliminate the jump of control input while the notch filter is put in the system dynamically, a new method based on gradually changing parameters and repeatedly discretizing filter is proposed. When the mechanical resonant varies with the conditions of load change, component ageing and mechanical coupling looseness, the real-time SDFT can detect the new vibration information automatically and adjust the parameter of the notch filter to suppress the vibration consequently. The experimental results on the turntable servo system show sufficiently that this proposed strategy is feasible and effective.","PeriodicalId":376265,"journal":{"name":"2012 Third International Conference on Intelligent Control and Information Processing","volume":"118 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-07-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124572772","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
