Dengan latar belakang masalah tersebut kegiatan KKN (Kuliah Kerja Nyata) Universitas Panca Marga kelompok kecamatan Mayangan menyusun program kerja dengan fokus untuk menambah wawasan dan kesiagaan tentang bahaya dari penularan virus Covid-19 yang implementasikan melalui kegiatan penyuluhan 5M, pembagian masker dan hand sanitizer, penanaman TOGA (Tanaman Obat Keluarga), penyemprotan cairan desinfektan pada fasilitas umum dan pembuatan produk sari belimbing wuluh. Hasil dari kegiatan adalah meningkatnya wawasan dan kesiagaan masyarakat kecamatan Mayangan tentang bahaya penularan virus Covid-19 dan cara pencegahannya. Salah satu program dari KKN Tematik Covid-1- adalah memberikan sosialisasi pembuatan minuman jahe instan bagi ibu-ibu rumah tangga. Minuman jahe instan merupakan olahan jahe yang dikristalkan dengan cara direbus dengan air, gula, garam, kayu manis, serai dan cengkeh. Menyadari tingginya potensi kesehatan dan kandungan gizi yang terkandung dalam rimpang jahe, tim KKN Universitas Panca Marga Probolinggo Kecamatan Paiton tergerak untuk melakukan sosialisasi pembuatan minuman jahe instan dengan tujuan agar masyarakat lebih mengetahui pemanfaatan jahe menjadi minuman jahe instan. Sosialisasi dilakukan selama empat (4) hari, hari pertama berupa pengenalan alat dan bahan, hari kedua dan ketiga, pembuatan minuman jahe instan dan pengemasan dalam bengtuk pouch, hari keempat berupa pembagian minuman jahe instan kepada masyarakat sekitar. Namun untuk pemenuhan kebutuhan ekonomi, masyarakat juga memanfaatkan Usaha Mikro Kecil Menengah (UMKM) sebagai sumber penghasilan sekunder dalam pemenuhan kebutuhan rumah tangga mereka. Salah satunya UMKM yang dikelola oleh Ibu Suryani yang di dalamnya memproduksi rengginang. Intervensi UMKM dalam mengembangkan perekonomian masyarakat sangat diperlukan mengingat perekonomian masyarakat terjadipenurunan daya beli masyarakat atau ada hambatan distribusi produk barang dan jasa dari produsen ke konsumen. Hambatan tersebut dipengaruhi secara signifikan dengan adanya kebijakan PSBB pada saat pandemi Covid-19 saat ini. Gejugan Village is in the west bordering Klaseman Village and Karangpranti Village, Pajarakan District. Gejugan village has local potential that can be developed from their agricultural produce, namely corn. Corn is an alternative food source that contains many nutrients. But the people here still don't have the knowledge to be able to use it. The Socialization Activity for Making SUJU (Corn Milk) to Prevent Stunting and Utilizing Local Potential is expected to provide more knowledge to the Gejugan community in utilizing existing local potential, especially processing corn into corn milk. Besides having good nutrition, corn milk also has more value in the economy. If it is processed properly and properly, this product can be sold in the market. The socialization of making corn milk was attended by 25 residents of Gejugan Village. Material for making corn milk was given by providing materials and hands-on practice during the event. Participants in the socialization of making corn milk enthusiastically listened to and practiced directly making corn milk during the socialization process. From the results of the socialization, the practiced corn milk resulted in 6 bottles of corn milk measuring 360 ml. The method of this community service covered four stages: a) analyzing, b) planning and developing the content, c) implementing and d) training. In analyzing stage, the writer found problems faced by the students in writing descriptive text. In planning and developing the content stage, the writer developed method to write descriptive text by utilizing picture and guided question. With this pandemic situation, in implementing stage, the writer gathered 10 participants by applying health protocol suggested by the Government. Training stage was done for three days, 20-22 of July 2020. In the first day, the writer gave explanation related descriptive text. In the second day, the participants started to practice writing descriptive text by using picture and guided question. Feedback was given in the third day. The results of this training were shown by the presence of all participants three days in a row, they also gave responds and asked questions enthusiastically in the training process. The Community Service Program at Panca Marga University that has been carried out so far for Pakistaji residents is deemed to have gone well. The counseling that has been carried out in connection with the Community Service Program at Panca Marga University is the distribution of pamphlets in order to provide knowledge to the community regarding stunting, stunting counseling to Riyadlus Solihin Pakistaji's student guardians, the “Let's Drink Milk” campaign to Riyadlus Solihin's students, as well as several activities that related to stunting prevention. The results obtained at this time were that the participants felt that their knowledge was increased, their awareness was awakened, and their expertise was added. It is hoped that in the future this activity will continue and will continue to provide meaning to both parties, namely UPM and the community in Pakistaji Village. This service aims to find out the results of the use of tempe milk findings in ANC activities in the Klaseman Village, Gending District, Probolinggo Regency. The results of the implementation of this activity showed that there were 14 pregnant women who made use of the ANC. Found one miscarriage pregnant women, one pregnant woman gave birth, 4 people experienced tartar, 5 people experienced a high risk, and 2 people experienced a very high risk. In carrying out this ANC activity, we also found findings in the form of products to combat stunting in Des Klaseman. It is expected that the Puskesmas and Klaseman Village apparatus will improve counseling on the benefits and objectives of ANC examinations, the importance of regulating birth spacing, the ANC services that Puskesmas can provide, changing perspectives, attending training and involving traditional birth attendants and community leaders.
