Character education can also be conveyed through dance through movements, costumes, and musical accompaniment. The purpose of this study is to describe the values of character education in Sufi Dance. This study used a qualitative research method, the object of research being the Sufi Dance at the Maulana Rumi Sewon Islamic Boarding School, Bantul. Data collection techniques used were interviews, observation, and literature study. Data analysis was carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and data verification stages. Sufi dance is an expression of love that arises from the spiritual journey of Maulana Rumi. Through value analysis, there are seven character education values in Sufi Dance, including religious character, tolerance, hard work, peace-loving, social care, responsibility, and humility. AbstrakPendidikan karakter adalah segala upaya untuk mengarahkan, melatih, dan memupuk nilai-nilai baik agar menumbuhkan kepribadian yang bijak, sehingga dapat memberikan kontribusi yang positif kepada lingkungan dan masyarakat luas. Pendidikan karakter juga dapat disampaikan melalui sebuah tarian, baik dalam bentuk gerakan, bentuk kostum, maupun iringan musik yang digunakan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter yang termuat dalam Tari Sufi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif, dengan objek penelitian Tari Sufi di Pondok Pesantren Maulana Rumi Sewon, Bantul. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi, dan studi pustaka. Analisis data dilakukan melalui tahap reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi data. Tari Sufi merupakan ekspresi rasa cinta yang muncul dari perjalanan spiritual seorang Maulana Rumi. MakYong dance is theatrical performance art, part of a drama that tells the story of human life. Stories include conversations, dance and acting moves, and scripts for the actors. MakYong comes from several areas that started from Nara Yala, spread to Kelantan, and entered Indonesia. This study aims to determine the study of the Mak Yong Muda dance style in Ledang Balai Studio, Tanjung Pinang, Riau Archipelago. The theory of style studies is linked to the observation of the Mak Yong Dance from the view or perspective of Dance Anthropology. The dance style in question is the emblematic style and the assertive style. This research uses qualitative methods to explore whether there is factual information or events that happened. The results of the research show that Mak Yong Muda presents folklore. Some standards are still not to be removed in the Mak Yong Dance performance in the aspects of dance and script movements. The emblem and assertive styles in the dance seem to influence each other from the actor's story and the dancers at Ledang Balai. Experts, humanists, artists, and residents must contribute to preserving this art. AbstrakKesenian Tari MakYong merupakan salah satu bentuk seni tradisi Melayu. Tari MakYong merupakan seni pertunjukkan teater, bagian dari drama yang menceritakan kisah hidup manusia. Cerita dalam bentuk percakapan, gerak lakon maupun gerak tari, serta naskah tertulis untuk para pelakon. MakYong bersumber dari beberapa daerah yang berawal dari Nara Yala, menyebar ke Kelantan hingga masuk ke Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui studi gaya Tari MakYong Muda yang ada di Sanggar Ledang Balai, Tanjung Pinang, Kepulauan Riau. Teori studi gaya dikaitkan ke observasi Tari MakYong dalam pandangan atau perspektif Antropologi Tari. Gaya tari yang dimaksud ialah gaya emblem dan gaya asertif. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif guna menelusuri sendiri apakah terdapat informasi fakta atau kejadian yang benar terjadi. Hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa kesenian MakYong Muda ini membawakan cerita rakyat. Terdapat pakem-pakem yang tidak dihilangkan dalam pertunjukan Tari MakYong pada aspek gerak tari dan naskah. Gaya emblem dan gaya asertif pada tari terlihat saling mempengaruhi dari cerita pelakon dan para penari yang ada di Ledang Balai. Kesenian-kesenian tradisional tersebut memiliki peran penting dalam kehidupan masyarakat penganutnya. Salah satunya adalah melalui penanaman nilai-nilai religi dalam masyarakat suku Banjar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengelaborasi landasan teori nila-nilai religius dalam budaya masyarakat Banjar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi pustaka (library research). Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan tentunya adalah studi literatur dari sumber-sumber referensi terkait. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis isi. Validitas kajian dilaksanakan dengan cara kroscek antar referensi dan membaca secara berulang sumber-sumber yang dipilih dalam analisis data. Berdasarkan hasil pengkajian dengan metode kepustakaan, diperoleh hasil bahwa kesenian tradisional masyarakat suku Banjar memiliki nilai-nilai religius dengan perwujudan yang menyesuaikan jenis kesenian yang ditampilkan. Masing-masing memiliki simbol dan makna yang dipercaya masyarakat sebagai nilai-nilai religi yang harus terus dipertahankan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.The Banjar tribal community has a variety of arts that have been developed and preserved to this day. These traditional arts have an essential role in the lives of their adherents. One of them is by cultivating religious values in the Banjar tribal community. This study aims to elaborate on the theoretical basis of religious values in the culture of the Banjar people. The research method used is library research. Of course, the data collection method used is a literature study from related reference sources. The data analysis technique used is content analysis. The study's validity was carried out by cross-checking between references and repeatedly reading the selected sources in the data analysis. Based on the study results using the library method, it was found that the traditional arts of the Banjar tribal community have religious values with embodiments that adjust the type of art displayed. Proses belajar mengajar seni musik tentu harus tetap difasilitasi meskipun dalam situasi pandemi COVID-19. Penggunaan aplikasi Microsoft Teams pada pembelajaran seni musik dapat membantu guru untuk tetap melaksanakan kegiatan belajar mengajar dengan baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pembelajaran seni musik berbasis Microsoft Teams di SMP Negeri 12 Yogyakarta. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Teknik validasi data yang digunakan yaitu triangulasi sumber, sedangkan analisis datanya meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan aplikasi Microsoft Teams pada pembelajaran seni musik dapat membantu guru untuk mengajarkan teori serta praktik yang baik meskipun tidak di dalam kelas. Aplikasi Microsoft Teams mempermudah peserta didik dalam mengikuti proses pembelajaran secara daring, mengumpulkan tugas, dan memperoleh materi. Fitur yang disediakan oleh aplikasi Microsoft Teams  membantu proses pembelajaran online seni musik pada materi bernyanyi secara unisono dan hasil belajar yang didapatkan di atas rata-rata kriteria ketuntasan minimal. AbstractOnline learning certainly requires learning tools that follow the subject's needs. Of course, music's teaching and learning process must still be facilitated even in the COVID-19 pandemic situation. The use of the Microsoft Teams application in music learning can help teachers continue carrying out teaching and learning activities well. This study describes music learning based on Microsoft Teams at SMP Negeri 12 Yogyakarta. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques used are interviews, observation, and documentation. The data validation technique used is source triangulation, while the data analysis includes data reduction, presentation, and verification. The results showed that using the Microsoft Teams application in music learning could help teachers teach good theory and practice even though it was not in the classroom. The Microsoft Teams application makes it easier for students to follow the online learning process, collect assignments, and obtain materials. Menarikan tari klasik tanpa mengetahui isi atau pesan yang ingin disampaikan pencipta tari merupakan permasalahan yang dialami pada masa sekarang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter yang terdapat pada Tari Sekar Pudyastuti dan relevansinya dalam pembelajaran Seni Budaya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, wawancara narasumber, dan dokumentasi yang sudah dimiliki oleh sanggar. Sumber data dalam penelitian yaitu ketua sanggar, pamong/guru, dan siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Tari Sekar Pudyastuti merupakan tarian yang bertemakan rasa syukur dan doa kepada Tuhan. Tari Sekar Pudyastuti mengandung nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter yang terdapat pada gerak tari, kostum tari, dan lagon/gérongan. Nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter tersebut meliputi nilai religius, tanggung jawab, toleransi, disiplin, demokratis, rasa dan karsa, rendah hati, mawas diri, dan filosofi kehidupan manusia. Nilai-nilai pendidikan pada Tari Sekar Pudyastuti memiliki relevansi dengan pembelajaran Seni Budaya di Sekolah Menengah Atas sehingga relevan dijadikan materi pembelajaran. AbstractAt this time, children do not understand the value of character and lack of preserving traditional arts such as classical dance. Dancing classical dance without knowing the content or message the dance creator wants to convey is a problem today. This study describes the values of character education in the Sekar Pudyastuti Dance and their relevance in learning arts and culture. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews with sources, and documentation that the studio already owns. The study's sources of data were the head of the studio, tutors/teachers, and students. The results showed that the Sekar Pudyastuti Dance was a dance with the theme of gratitude and prayer to God. The Sekar Pudyastuti dance contains character education values in dance moves, costumes, and music/vocal. The character education values include religious values, responsibility, tolerance, discipline, democracy, taste and intention, humility, introspection, and the philosophy of human life. Pemaknaan kesenian Kuda Lumping dapat ditinjau dari berbagai sudut pandang penelitian sebelumnya. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk menerangkan kembali hasil-hasil studi yang terkandung pada pertunjukan kesenian Kuda Lumping. Informsai yang disajikan berupa hasil analisis konten secara deskriptif. Kuda Lumping memiliki kandungan makna yang luas apabila dilihat dari aspek pementasan, aspek kesenian tari, visualisasi kostum dan properti, serta nilai-nilai edukatif yang termuat di dalamnya. Dari segi tema dan cerita, seni pertunjukan Kuda Lumping menyuguhkan variasi cerita dari masing-masing daerah seiring berjalannya waktu. Dari segi kesenian tari, Kuda Lumping biasa ditarikan dalam formasi tari kelompok dalam suatu rangkaian pertunjukan. Terkait aspek visual, kostum dan properti memiliki warna yang tidak pakem, tergantung dari kelompok seni yang membawakan. Selain itu dari perspektif edukatif, seni pertunjukan Kuda Lumping juga memuat nilai-nilai luhur yang harus dipahami dan dilestarikan. Dengan adanya publikasi dan penelitian tentang kajian seni tradisi multiperspektif lebih lanjut, diharapkan membawa seni pertunjukan lokal di Negeri ini tetap senantiasa menemani laju pertumbuhan literasi kebudayaan. AbstractOne of the community arts that shows the uniqueness of the Nusantara tradition is the Kuda Lumping art. The meaning of Kuda Lumping art can be viewed from various perspectives of previous research. This paper aims to re-explain the studies' results in the Kuda Lumping performing arts. The information presented is the result of descriptive content analysis. Kuda Lumping has a broad meaning when viewed from the aspect of staging, aspects of dance art, visualization of costumes and props, and the educational values contained in it. In terms of themes and stories, the performance art of Kuda Lumping presents a variety of stories from each region over time. Kuda Lumping is usually danced in a group formation in a series of performances in terms of dance art. Regarding the visual aspect, costumes and props have different colours, depending on the performing arts group. In addition, from an educational perspective, the performance art of Kuda Lumping also contains noble values that must be understood and preserved. Tidak lain karena karawitan telah dianggap oleh masyarakatnya sebagai bagian dari tradisinya. Meskipun demikian, hal tersebut tidak berlaku bagi orang awam yang belum terbiasa mendengar gamelan, sehingga letak probematikanya disini adalah pada konteks pembelajaran karawitan, bahwa khusus bagi siswa awam sangat sulit memahaminya. Terutama apabila dikaitkan dengan istilah-istilah dasar yang termuat di dalam Seni Karawitan. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk menawarkan solusi akan problematika tersebut. Upaya yang dilakukan yakni memanfaatkan kreativitas guru untuk memberikan stimulus melalui aspek psikologi kognitif siswa. Seperti kajian ini, yakni melalui aspek kebahasaan atau istilah-istilah dalam karawitan, melalui stimulus tersebut akan melahirkan perilaku musikal. Kajian ini menyimpulkan bahwa dengan timbulnya mental response dari aspek kognitif siswa, maka akan mendorong siswa untuk melahirkan antusisasme berbentuk behavioral response, terutama dalam memaknai dan merepresentasikan nilai-nilai filosofis, nilai kebudayaan, dan nilai-nilai positif lain yang terkandung dalam seni karawitan Jawa. AbstractJavanese Karawitan as the identity of Javanese traditional music still survives to this day. Because karawitan has been considered part of their community tradition. Efforts are being made to utilize the teacher's creativity to provide stimulus through aspects of students' cognitive psychology. Like this study, through linguistic aspects or terms in karawitan. Through these stimuli will give birth to musical behavior. Pembelajaran drama di Teater Skansa terangkum dalam kegiatan latihan rutin maupun latihan pementasan. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mendeskripsikan metode pembelajaran dan penerapannya dalam pembelajaran drama di Teater Skansa, SMKN 1 Bawang, Banjarnegara. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumetasi yang selanjutnya dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik validasi data yang digunakan yaitu triangulasi sumber dan metode. Triangulasi sumber dalam penelitian ini dengan cara mengecek sumber data dari pembina, pelatih, alumni dan peserta didik anggota Teater Skansa untuk mengetahui proses pembelajaran. Sedangkan triangulasi metode mengecek kebenaran data yang berasal dari metode observasi dan wawancara. Selanjutnya data diolah dengan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan pengambilan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Teater Skansa menggunakan metode pembelajaran ceramah, demonstrasi, imitasi, latihan/drill, diskusi, presentasi, dan metode hybrid learning. Penggunaan metode tersebut sudah tepat karena proses pembelajaran dapat dilakukan dengan baik, selain itu peserta didik dapat menguasai materi dengan benar. AbstractSkansa Theater is an extracurricular activity of choice at SMKN 1 Bawang in developing interests and talents in the arts and culture. Drama learning at the Skansa Theater is summarized in routine practice activities and staging exercises. This research described the learning method and its application in learning drama at the Skansa Theater at SMKN 1 Bawang, Banjarnegara. The research data were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed descriptively qualitatively. The data validation technique used is the source and method triangulation. Triangulation of sources in this research is done by checking the source of data from supervisors, trainers, alumni and students of Skansa Theater members to find out the learning process. In contrast, the triangulation method checks the truth of data derived from observation and interview methods. Furthermore, the data is processed by data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results showed that Skansa Theater used lecturing, demonstration, imitation, practise/drill learning methods, discussions, presentations, and hybrid learning methods. This method is appropriate because the learning process can be carried out correctly. Pembelajaran tari untuk anak usia remaja di menjadi salah satu wadah bagi perkembangan anak usia remaja. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah pelatih dan peserta didik STKS Cabang Bantul dan Ranting Kalasan. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan studi pustaka. Teknik validasi data yang digunakan yaitu triangulasi sumber data dan metode. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan strategi pembelajaran disesuaikan dengan tujuan pembelajaran yang ditetapkan oleh STKS Pusat. Pembelajaran tari untuk anak usia remaja di Cabang Bantul menggunakan strategi pembelajaran kontekstual. Ranting Kalasan menggunakan strategi pembelajaran inkuiri dan kooperatif. Strategi Pembelajaran yang dipilih sudah tepat karena dapat meningkatkan kreativitas anak dalam memaknai serta menjiwai tari sesuai tujuan pembelajaran. This study aims to reveal and describe the learning strategies applied to dance lessons for adolescent students at STKS. Dance learning for adolescent students is one of the forums for adolescent students' development. This research uses a descriptive qualitative research method. The data sources of this research are the trainers and students of STKS Bantul and Kalasan Branches. Data collection techniques by observation, interviews, documentation, and literature study. The data validation technique used is a triangulation of data sources and methods. The results showed that the use of learning strategies was adjusted to the learning objectives set by the Central STKS. Dance learning for teenagers in Bantul Branch uses contextual learning strategies. Branch Kalasan uses inquiry and cooperative learning strategies. Banyolan para aktor sarat akan edukasi perihal seni tradisi dan keseharian masyarakat setempat. Meskipun demikian, ada beberapa hal yang tidak dapat dimaknai begitu saja. Adanya semiotika dari Ferdinand De Saussure ini dapat dijadikan sebagai teori dengan tujuan menganalisis pada tataran paling sederhana. Studi ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis komponen linguistik salah satu pertunjukan Kethoprak Ringkes yang berjudul “Sampek Eng Tay (Korban Multi Krisis)”. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yakni analisis kualitatif, dimulai dengan reduksi data hingga membuat kesimpulan. Hasil yang didapat menunjukkan adanya analisa lima dialog menggunakan analisis penanda-petanda, hubungan dua kosakata dengan analisis in present-in absentia, dan lima dialog lainnya menggunakan analisis poros kombinasi dan poros seleksi. Penggunaan berbagai kosakata ini melibatkan sistem tanda dengan semiotika Saussure. Upaya pemaknaan ini bisa dilakukan dalam rangka mengedukasi khalayak umum tentang peran seni pertunjukan bagi masyarakat. Kethoprak Ringkes, as one of the kethoprak groups in Yogyakarta, has its uniqueness. The jokes of the actors are full of education about traditional arts and local people's daily life. However, some things cannot be taken for granted. The semiotics from Ferdinand De Saussure can be used as a theory to analyze it at the most superficial level. This study aims to analyze the linguistic component of the Kethoprak Ringkes performances entitled \"Sampek Eng Tay (Multi Crisis Victim)\". The research method used is qualitative analysis, starting with data reduction to making conclusions. The results obtained show five dialogues using analysis of signifier-signified, the relationship of two vocabulary words with analysis in present-in absentia, and the other five dialogues using combination and selection axis analysis. The use of these various vocabularies involves a sign system with Saussure's semiotics.
