Primary data are collected from the participants of a Financial Education workshop in India. The study contained 996 respondents for research using the Personal Financial Well-Being Scale (PFWS) questionnaire from the respondents before and after participating in the workshop. Using Hayes’ macro process model and SPSS, the study tested mediation (financial behavior) and moderation (financial education). All the independent variables were encouraging effect on financial wellness by taking the financial behavior and participation of the respondent as the mediator and moderator variables. The independent variables of subjective aspects such as financial stress, situation, and condition have a more significant effect on financial wellness. This study indicates that policymakers and financial regulatory institutions should improve FE to improve financial behavior and wellness during a crisis for individual and economic well-being.","PeriodicalId":37330,"journal":{"name":"Business Perspectives and Research","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139253610","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, organizations cannot solely rely on servant leaders to stimulate the WB of their workforce as numerous factors affect servant leadership (SL), which may hinder its successful implementation in the workplace. Therefore, it is essential to determine to what extent an individual trait such as mindfulness can compensate for this leadership. Being focused, optimistic, and present in the moment fosters the WB of a person, which may reduce their reliance on external leadership. Thus, by relying on the “substitutes for leadership theory,” this study examines the moderating role of mindfulness in the SL and WB relationship. The data were collected from the 265 Indian service sector employees and were analyzed using the SPSS-20 and AMOS-21 software. The study’s results revealed that SL and mindfulness were significantly related to employee WB. Moreover, employees’ mindfulness moderates the SL and WB relationship. Also, mindfulness partly substitutes for a low level of SL in the workplace. Hence, by organizing meditation and yoga sessions in the organizations, employees’ mindfulness can be enhanced which reduce the reliance on the leadership style of the managers.","PeriodicalId":37330,"journal":{"name":"Business Perspectives and Research","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135886094","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, studies have determined it as an inevitable phenomenon that could be harmless and create a positive, enjoyable, and good work climate at the workplace. Considering this, the present study is aimed to determine the impact of social sexual behavior in two forms, that is, ambient sexual behavior and direct sexual behavior on various dimensions of employee wellbeing (work engagement, burnout, and job satisfaction). For the present study, 423 employees of the civil aviation industry have been surveyed working on different profiles. With the application of structural equation modeling, a statistical model has been developed and analyzed. The findings of the study have unveiled the black (negative) and white (positive) shades of social sexual behavior at the workplace. Ambient sexual behavior was found to reduce burnout among employees and enhances work engagement and job satisfaction. Further, the study has analyzed the negative relationship between direct social sexual behavior and the positive dimension of EWB (work engagement and job satisfaction). However, this relationship is found positive in concern to burnout.","PeriodicalId":37330,"journal":{"name":"Business Perspectives and Research","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"49154417","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It also examines the mediating role of trust between Fintech services and CE relationships. Data for this study were collected through a structured survey questionnaire from 294 customers (only Fintech users) of different private banks in Bangladesh. The convenience sampling technique was used to select millennial customers. SPSS and SmartPLS software were used for data analysis. The results exhibited that EPS, Robo-advisory, and FS positively impact CE, while RTS was found insignificant with CE. Besides, customer trust (CT) mediates the relationships among EPSs, Robo-advisory, and FSs with CE. Conversely, CT does not mediate the RTS and CE relationship. The study findings contribute to the substantial pool of knowledge in Fintech services, CE, and consumer trust. Remarkably, the mediating role of CT between the Fintech services and CE relationship is the unique novelty of this study and will enrich the existing Fintech literature from Bangladesh’s perspective.","PeriodicalId":37330,"journal":{"name":"Business Perspectives and Research","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"46450159","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Besides intolerance of uncertainty directly affecting personal accomplishment, it also affects it through the mediating roles of employees’ work ability and thriving at work. The research model was tested using three-wave, time-lagged data from 278 employees. The findings confirm that intolerance of uncertainty leads to reduced personal accomplishment. Additionally, the results showed that work ability and thriving at work partially mediated this relationship. Further analysis suggests that both work ability and thriving at work act as parallel mediators in the relationship between intolerance of uncertainty and reduced personal accomplishment, and that there is no statistically significant difference between them. Therefore, intolerance of uncertainty presents a challenge to important issues that drive employees, such as ability, development, and success.","PeriodicalId":37330,"journal":{"name":"Business Perspectives and Research","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"41448108","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Based on 1,345 articles published during a period of 28 years (i.e., 1993–2021), the study analyzes the conceptual structure of the work on EI. The study finds prospective synergies and interactions, thereby classifying the scientific literature into various clusters that address similar problems and share common themes. The development of imminent research streams built on quantitative and qualitative content analyses of the clustered publications highlighting previously overlooked idiosyncrasies of EI and their role across multiple levels of analysis and varied contexts can be considered as an accomplishment of this review. The study furthermore proposes a framework for the conceptualization of novel models for future exploration of EI. However, the research suggests some pathways to develop and empirically test statistical models emerging from the flow of scientific inquiry. The study urges researchers to use the case study method to evaluate EI. This study will help both pioneer and veteran EI researchers and other stakeholders benefit, who also intend to explore new directions for future investigations offering integration and synchronization with other fields of research.","PeriodicalId":37330,"journal":{"name":"Business Perspectives and Research","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"42978837","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Therefore, this research endeavors to estimate the industry-level herding by FIIs. Further, repercussions of trading volume, industry returns, and conditional volatility on herding have been analyzed in the study. In addition, the level of FIIs herding has been estimated during upswing and downswing markets, rising and falling trading volume, and conditional volatility market states. Herding was estimated using a count-based herd ratio after the global meltdown period. The empirical findings are based on the daily data from January 2010 to December 2019. The results confirmed herding in the Indian equity exchange. The outcomes revealed that buy-side herding was more predominant than sell-side herding in all industries. These findings indicate that the Indian security market is a lucrative investment destination for FIIs. The research disclosed that industrial returns are a vital parameter to derive FII herding. Therefore, this research can be used for price discovery at the industry level. Trading volume and conditional volatility demonstrate an inverse relationship with FIIs herding. Furthermore, the research also reveals that herding was more severe before the structural break period except for the construction sector.","PeriodicalId":37330,"journal":{"name":"Business Perspectives and Research","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"48057106","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The pandemic has worsened these challenges, requiring teachers to seek psychological and professional support. Online teaching has added to these difficulties, with educators having to adapt to new technologies while managing virtual classrooms and addressing the unique needs of students in remote learning environments. This present study sought to understand the relationship between work cognition (WCog) and subjective well-being (SWB) among female professional educators during the COVID-19 pandemic. The study also examines the moderating effect of Resilience (RSL) on the association between WCog and SWB. Using a purposive sampling technique, data was collected through an online survey from 181 female professional educators in India. Female professional educators reported moderate levels of WCog, high levels of RSL, and high levels of SWB, which indicates that the female professional educators faced cognitive and emotional strain during online teaching but demonstrated resilience and maintained positive well-being. RSL moderated the relationship between WCog and SWB, highlighting its influence on educators’ cognitive management and well-being during online teaching. These insights have implications for support system to enhance the well-being of educators and promoting their professional development.","PeriodicalId":37330,"journal":{"name":"Business Perspectives and Research","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"42016503","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Using the data from 16 listed commercial banks’ stock returns on Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange (HOSE) and Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX) during the study period, we used OLS to find the effect, with important findings: (1) COVID-19 daily reported cases had a weak negative effect on Vietnam listed banks’ stock returns and hardly any relation with stock returns’ standard deviation. (2) GDP influenced commercial bank stock returns positively, while CPI, number of COVID-19 cases, and businesses closed had a negative effect. Also, listed commercial bank stock returns were insignificantly impacted by the interest rate. (3) Macroeconomic factors’ impact on the standard deviation of returns were weak, during the pandemic. GDPs and CPIs effect turned out to be insignificant while interest rate had a negative effect on the volatility rate, and was only significant in two out of the three models, implying potential negative impacts of COVID-19 on the macroeconomy.
