The method used is a systematic literature review. The result showed that vitamin C can inhibit oxidative stress after physical activity. Vitamin C is a water-soluble substance and it acts as chainbreaking antioxidant. It scavenges free radicals and reactive oxygen species (ROS), which are produced during metabolic process. Exercise can produce an imbalance between ROS and antioxidants, which leads to tissue damage related to oxidative stress. Vitamin C also acts as a supporting factor in several enzymatic reactions in the body and can increase components of the immune system. Because of the pivotal role of vitamin C in reducing free radical levels, this review article presents a characteristics and functions of vitamin C as an antioxidant to lessen the levels of free radicals which focused in exercise condition. It can be concluded that supplementation of vitamin c after physical activity can inhibit oxidative stress.","PeriodicalId":372924,"journal":{"name":"JOSSAE : Journal of Sport Science and Education","volume":"24 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-05-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115080992","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The learning model which is described in this article is the result of research and development using Borg and Gall model. This article focuses on discussing the effectiveness of applying the learning model by using MBG on health sport and physical education learning. The effectiveness was measured by testing the MBG model to 70 students on fourth grade. The effectiveness measurement was carried out on the quality of the process by using the Formative Class Evaluation (FCE) questionnaire while the quality of the results used the fundamental movement skills measurement instrument. Data analysis was conducted by using descriptive statistics and different tests used t-test based on the results of the normality test data distribution by using Kolmogorov-Smirnov. The results showed that the quality of the learning process was included in the good category. On the other hand, learning outcomes before and after learning showed a significant increase (p <0.05). Hence, it can be concluded that the MBG development result model is effectively applied in health sport and physical education learning, especially in fourth grade. CST method has 11 steps or steps that can be followed to overcome water phobia in early childhood. This method is given in a communicative manner in the form of seduction, using good words, firm and accompanied by basic swimming techniques to be used in children who experience water phobias. The effectiveness of this method is evidenced by the decrease in the percentage percentage of the amount of data in the subject I decreased by 39% and on the subject II there was a decrease of 42% taken from the difference between the data before and after the trial. This proves that this method can reduce water phobia experienced by early childhood and this method is more effective at an early age because emotional in early childhood can still be regulated than the age of pre-adolescence or about 9 years and above. The need for repetition of treatment that researchers provide to accelerate the healing of water phobias experienced by the child and do not forget to always pay attention to the health conditions of children who experience water phobia.","PeriodicalId":372924,"journal":{"name":"JOSSAE : Journal of Sport Science and Education","volume":"7 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-08-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127758610","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
