An originally developed model that includes autoencoder preprocessing for compression and extraction of informative features was applied to the task of pattern recognition, namely, locating and identifying the objects of certain higher-level classes of interest in the images produced by aerial photography. Classification efficiency of the method was measured and compared with other common methods of classification, the advantages and shortcomings of the proposed approach analyzed and potential applications in real-time remote object recognition systems, as well as in automating the generation of training data for image recognition systems discussed.","PeriodicalId":372744,"journal":{"name":"2020 10th International Conference on Advanced Computer Information Technologies (ACIT)","volume":"98 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132567472","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Planning and implementation of efficient laying in already connected pipeline laid mechanisms are costly and time consuming. In this regard, this paper proposes a novel advisory framework named as Zobhana Jala Sambaddha (ZJS) to address the above problems and provide an automated solution as compared to manual pipe laying mechanisms. The proposed advisory Framework ZJS arrives at a solution space that connects multiple source and destination points. This multipath solution between any source and destination points are derived considering different parameters of interest such as: low-cost, less distance, low pumping power, geographical constraints etc. An image processing based data abstraction with multi constrained optimization framework provides an advisory solution. It is observed from different test case runs carried out in Sri City, that the proposed framework is more generic and automated; eliminates the need for time consuming surveys for pipe-laying; and in fact, reduces pipe-laying infrastructure by upto 36%.","PeriodicalId":372744,"journal":{"name":"2020 10th International Conference on Advanced Computer Information Technologies (ACIT)","volume":"39 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115924723","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The paper shows that Bayesian networks (BN) allow us to identify the probabilistic dependencies of the structure of economic indicators of the enterprise, which can be analyzed in more detail using observations and sensitivity analysis of BN. This study shows how the multidimensional nature of the relationship between economic, financial and investment indicators can be used as a decision support tool for investors in formulating strategic recommendations to improve the efficiency of investment investments.","PeriodicalId":372744,"journal":{"name":"2020 10th International Conference on Advanced Computer Information Technologies (ACIT)","volume":"51 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116139221","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Structure prediction for static networks is not a simple task. It depends on data quality. However, for networks, we are discussing in this paper, it is a computationally difficult issue. We deal with networks, which are both time-varying (temporary) and uncertain. In this paper, we use belief function theory for the modelling of uncertainty. Based on an estimate of interactions of groups of actors in a network, we estimate the structure of the modeled temporary network. Experimental results show that our method can predict the structure of indefinite time networks.","PeriodicalId":372744,"journal":{"name":"2020 10th International Conference on Advanced Computer Information Technologies (ACIT)","volume":"11 3 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116794702","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this regard, lane assistance system and vehicle detection are considered as core modules of ADAS. However, the drawback is that the conventional image processing and vision-based techniques are quite slow and computationally expensive. The proposed work circumvents this limitation with the practical use of deep learning (CNN) based detection architecture. This paper proposes the use of CNN inspired detection methods such as Faster RCNN and YOLO for visual perception of road traffic. Notably, they were applied for effective vehicle detection in non-disciplined, heterogeneous Indian road traffic. This involved collecting own dataset for Indian urban heterogeneous traffic in both day and night time. An application of YOLO with VGG network resulted in a mAP score of 78.57%. On the other hand, Faster RCNN with Inception v2 and ResNet networks resulted in mAP score of 88% and 89.44%, on Indian road traffic datasets. This is a significant result; that shows the use of Deep Learning techniques for an efficient visual modelling of unconstrained road traffic scenarios.","PeriodicalId":372744,"journal":{"name":"2020 10th International Conference on Advanced Computer Information Technologies (ACIT)","volume":"2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127032417","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
