The study analyzes business education and entrepreneurial competence as predictors of entrepreneurial intention in university students. This research is framed from a quantitative, causal correlational methodological perspective through a structural equation model, the sample of which is comprised of 377 university students. The results show that the model's fit was adequate, with a Chi-square value of 1149.09, 521 degrees of freedom (p=0.000<0.001), and a Chi-square/df ratio of 2.21. The goodness-of-fit indicators, incremental fit, and parsimony measures obtained values within the acceptable range. In conclusion, there is a significant influence (?=0.77) between business education and entrepreneurial competence (p=0.000<0.001) and between entrepreneurial competence and the intention to start a business (? = 0.87). However, the influence (p=0.135<0.05) between business education and entrepreneurial intention was insignificant. As an applied method, the descriptive analysis of scientific articles found in national and international journals indexed in the Scopus database was used, in the period of 2018 - 2023. Regarding the results, 2227 investigations were located, being selected for effects. of the work 38 studies, which were selected applying criteria of duplicity, exclusion and relevance. As a final reflection, this problem is rooted in cultural practices and social structures that perpetuate gender inequality. Although laws and policies can act as a brake on violence, a profound cultural change is required to eradicate the attitudes and structures that sustain it. Transnational criminal organizations differ significantly from one another in terms of organizational structure, type of activity, size and territorial extent. Transnational organized crime operates through a network of homogeneous, interconnected groups. It is active in a number of areas ranging from bank fraud, cybercrime, drug trafficking, trafficking of goods and people to the seizure of government funds. The globalization process is one of the most important factors in the development of this phenomenon. One of the biggest problems is the participation of organized crime in political power at the horizontal (legislative and executive) and vertical (central and local) levels, as well as the influence on the judiciary. They are also characterized by uprooting of agricultural land and labour, and water pollution. The objective of this paper is to characterize mining activities and their links with the livelihoods of rural household. A survey with 140 households, interviews and observations were conducted in July and August 2022 in Mabayi commune, on Gahoma and Ruhororo hills, where the Russian mining company ‘Tanganyika Mining Burundi-TMB’ and the local mining cooperative Dukorere Hamwe Dusoze Ikivi-DHDI were carrying out their activities respectively, since December 2018. The results showed that TMB and DHDI inject money into the local economy, and strengthen social ties by creating farmers and mutual aid’s associations/cooperatives. They are also characterized by competition in land and labour markets, environmental degradation, rising food and arable land prices, and corruption in the compensation awarding process. DHDI absorbs considerably local labour force and improves social infrastructure, unlike TMB. However, in Nigeria, the state of human security has been intercepted by many obstacles. The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) secessionist movement is a major interception. The arrest of the group’s leader, Nnamdi Kanu, in 2015 triggered a rise in the three-year movement and ultimately a fall in human security in the country. This study investigates the relationship between the IPOB secessionist agitation and human security as well as the implications that the agitations have on human security in Nigeria. The study adopts the relative deprivation theory as the theoretical framework to analyse the underlying causes of secessionist movements. Utilizing a secondary method of data collection, the research relies on an extensive literature review and analysis of relevant sources, including books, journals, and online articles. The findings of this study reveal that IPOB agitations have repercussions on human security in the country. Roseni","doi":"10.36941/ajis-2024-0120","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.36941/ajis-2024-0120","url":null,"abstract":"In the discursive process, figurative phrases with high expressive intensity are frequently used, representing one of the various sources of expression for each speaker in different communicative contexts. However, due to their nature, their teaching at school presents some difficulties. Although they are understandable to a particular linguistic community, they can be incomprehensible or difficult to interpret for anyone learning a foreign language, since their first meaning is in many cases not the meaning of the words that compose them and can be very different from the meaning they acquire in an idiomatic context. Idiomatic expressions rarely have corresponding translations in different languages, and their meaning is often rendered by completely different passages that have nothing in common with their direct meaning. In this article, we have tried to point out some of the methodological aspects to be considered when analyzing texts for didactic purposes and in foreign language teaching when it comes to figurative expressions. Since figurative phrases express a part of a nation’s culture, it is important for students to recognize the syntactic structures as words come together in the discursive process to express and convey thoughts and become part of various meaningful and formal grammatical relationships. They should be learned and acquired by keeping in mind the characteristics of their different types, their density, and their pragmatic use in the respective linguistic community. In this study, we will also try to show that the study of figurative syntagma can shed more light on theories of foreign language acquisition. Previous studies on figurative syntagma in Albanian have mainly been conducted within the narrow confines of linguistics, especially traditional linguistics. The methodology employed was a bibliometric analysis with document analysis techniques of articles published in the Scopus, Web of Science, and Taylor & Francis databases. Search filters with the keywords “Management competencies” and the target population (micro and small enterprises) were applied for the selection of research. For this purpose, bibliometric measures were evaluated that assess authors' productivity based on the number of documents consulted and included, as well as by years, countries, and keywords. Furthermore, multiple multidimensional indicators of collaboration among authors were examined, and this information was supplemented with the analysis of bibliographic platforms. In this regard, it's crucial for managers of micro and small enterprises to combine their management skills, creativity, and entrepreneurial spirit to make accurate short and long-term decisions, thereby ensuring the future success of the company.
