Firstly, the GA was used to prepossess the data and effectively extract the input of model in feature space. Basis on this, the ELM was used to establish the forecast model for short-term wind power. Then, the GA was used to optimize the activation function of hidden layer nodes, the offset, the input weights, and the regularization coefficient of extreme learning, thus obtaining the GA-ELM algorithm. Finally, the GA-ELM was applied to the short-term wind power forecast for a certain area. Firstly, envelope signal could be extracted by using HHT from original signal containing noises. Then the noises and higher harmonic components of envelope signal could be removed by using Wavelet denoising. Finally, the noise-removing envelope signal could be decomposed by using Empirical Mode Decomposition (EMD) for getting accurate amplitude modulation wave. The new method was applied to virtual instrument by using the MATLAB script node in LabVIEW. Experimental results show that this new method is applicable for analyzing voltage flicker signal both in time domain and frequency domain. In the proposed method, chaotic local search technique is employed to enhance the local search capability and convergence rate of the algorithm. In addition, a novel constraint handling strategy is presented to deal with the complicated equality constrains and then ensures the feasibility and effectiveness of solution. A system including four hydro plants coupled hydraulically and three thermal plants has been tested by the proposed algorithm. The results are compared with particle swarm optimization (PSO), quantum-behaved particle swarm optimization (QPSO) and other population-based artificial intelligence algorithms considered. As for the multi-pulse flexible-topology thyristor rectifiers (m-PFTTR), the symmetry of the input line-to-line voltages has great influence upon the implementation of the control strategy. Existing literatures have mainly focused on the implementation under ideal condition, i.e., the input line-to-line voltages, being critical to the predictive current controller, were supposed to be symmetrical. In fact, the unbalance of the input line-to-line voltages usually exists in the windings of the zigzag transformer at front end and the A/D converter of the digital signal processor (DSP). This paper presents a new method to dynamically regulate the input line-to-line voltages to ensure the symmetry of each other. It is realized through the instantaneous correction of the bias values in the course of sampling, and the correction is embodied in the modified control algorithm. The paper includes analyses of the m-PFTTR as well as the control algorithm, simulation and experiments. Furthermore, it is crucial for full tracking transmission line to be succeeded to transfer the data of video monitoring network to the internal network smoothly. In this paper, we analyze the structure of the secure access platform and the characteristics of the video data transmission process and propose a new method to solve the problem of the internal and external video data exchanging, which can ensure the video data crossing through the safety access platform. We deploy an intranet server and an extranet server, moreover, the extranet server sends the UDP heartbeat packets to the intranet server to maintain the network connection via SIP port. So the video inviting command could be transferred through the secure access platform. It also proposes a kind of compatible frame structure and addressing method which is specific to wired/wireless network hybrid transmission. It discusses a design of BACnet/ZigBee wireless temperature sensor node from the point of software and hardware, and completes node software and hardware design of BACnet/ZigBee wireless temperature sensor by the embedded system Lm3s6911+, and bidirectional parsing, encapsulating, addressing, sending and receiving process between ZigBee messages and BACnet Ethernet messages are realized. It can not only minimize the array system mean output power but also maintain a distortion less response to desired signal as it adaptively depends on sample data. The effect of errors in beamforming analysis is applied using MVDR and CBF method. The errors include variance of weight and steering vector with different input SIR. These errors can affect the performance of array system’s mean output power and SINR for both CBF and MVDR. However, the MVDR method has more robust characteristics compared to the CBF method in the case of slight errors. However, they have some effects on the permanent magnet wind generator due to their work on fast on-off transitions. Taking an 8kW 2000r/min wind-driven permanent magnet generator as an example, the system model and external circuit were established. Firstly, based on the field-circuit coupling calculation method, the voltage and current harmonics have been studied respectively when the generator was connected to rectifier loads and pure resistance loads, so did the total harmonic distortion. The mechanism of harmonic impacted by rectifiers was revealed. Secondly, combined the harmonic electromagnetic field theory, the stator core loss, armature winding copper loss and rotor eddy loss were analyzed when the generator connected different loads. Furthermore, according to the definition of nonlinear circuits PF, the numerical analysis method was adopted to calculate the power factor when the generator connected two loads respectively. The change mechanism of PF impacted by rectifiers has been revealed. In addition, the temperature field model has been established and the generator temperature was also analyzed. The temperature distributions were obtained when the wind generator was connected to different loads. Then, the relationship between losses and temperature was combined, the change rules of permanent magnet temperature by the eddy current loss were studied under different load. The proposed hybrid MTDC system consists of two line-communicated converters (LCC), which are connected to both wind farms and thermal power plants, and one voltage source converter (VSC) at the grid side. Control strategies for each converter are designed to handle this system under different disturbance conditions. Simulation results show that the wind power fluctuation can be compensated by the thermal-generated power. Results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed control strategies of the hybrid MTDC system compared to a conventional MTDC system.
