Fazilov","doi":"10.17051/ilkonline.2021.03.179","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.17051/ilkonline.2021.03.179","url":null,"abstract":"Background: The lockdown across the country due to the coronavirus pandemic forced all educational institutions, including the Tashkent State University of Law (TSUL) conduct online classes to compensate for the loss of the academic period. Among all the available applications, the dedicated platform “Distant.tsul.uz” turned out to be a more convenient application with many built-in functions. After a few months of use platforms for classes in the criminal law department, a feedback survey was conducted to find out the effectiveness of online classes and the advantages and disadvantages of the platform. Material and Methods: The questionnaire, which contained both objective and open questions, was for more than a hundred 2nd year students who took online classes conducted by the department of Criminal law, criminology and fight against corruption. Results: According to students, taking online classes was the best way to use isolation time (51%). The students found the platform very user-friendly and easy to use. They felt that using anytime, anywhere and constant access to materials (91%) were advantages of the platform. Lack of free internet, network problems are the main problems in using this tool. Conclusion: A dedicated university platform is the best way to leverage the time of the pandemic to offset the loss of academic performance. The article stipulates that the EU immigration policy is the object of common competence of the European Union and its Member States. The author defines the main directions of the European Union's common immigration policy: the promotion and economic development of legal immigration to EU Member States and the fight against the influx of illegal migrants from third countries. The study researches the effective means of combating illegal immigrants by means of the adoption of readmission agreements with third countries by both the EU and its Member States. This article was aimed to identify the challenges that occur in the implementation of character education in elementary schools in Indonesia. This study applied a systematic review of literature using search protocol based on the PRISMA recommendation statement. The initial step of the study was the formulation of the research problem, then search of relevant research results from national journals on Garuda database and journal website. Then, an analysis of relevant research results was carried out in relation to the challenges in implementing the primary school character education program in Indonesia. The lack of support such as socialization, trainings, facilities and infrastructure were the main challenges that came from the government. Challenges from the teacher mostly focus on the difficulty and inc ompetence in assessing students’ character.
