Sa vie est monotone et, outre le travail, dès son retour à domicile, il joue à des jeux vidéo des heures durant avant d’aller se coucher. Son train de vie répétitif le déprime et le fait se renfermer sur lui-même. Il s’avère qu’un jour, en rentrant de son travail comme à son habitude, Theodore est interpellé par la publicité pour un nouveau système opératif, OS-1, qui promet une intelligence artificielle extrêmement, développée faisant preuve de conscience et capable d’évoluer en fonction de son utilisateur. Curieux, Theodore décide d’en acheter un et lorsque le système opératif est configuré afin d’avoir une voix de femme, la rencontre a lieu. Theodore est fasciné par son attitude et sa manière de s’exprimer, qui semblent parfaitement humaines. Le protagoniste joué par Joaquin Phoenix, habituellement introverti, s’ouvre alors au monde et exprime rapidement sa confiance au système d’intelligence artificielle qu’il vient d’acquérir. L’homme qui jusqu’ici semblait avoir du mal à sociabiliser avec ses collègues et n’avait que quelques amis, dont Amy, une amie du collège, voit son comportement bouleversé. Dans les débuts de leur relation, Samantha, dont la voix est interprétée par Scarlett Johansson, aide Theodore dans sa vie de tous les jours, lui lit ses e-mails, lui rappelle ses rendezvous. Au fil du temps, ils se rapprochent et commencent à se confier l’un à l’autre sur des sujets très profonds, sur la vie et sur l’amour. Samantha lui avoue son sentiment d’infériorité en tant qu’intelligence artificielle et se questionne sur son existence; de son côté, Theodore se confie sur sa réticence à signer les papiers de divorce qui mettraient officiellement fin à sa longue histoire d'amour avec son ex-femme. Leur relation devient de plus en plus intime jusqu’à donner une véritable relation amoureuse dans laquelle ils font aussi l’expérience de rapports sexuels qui pourraient s’apparenter à du sexe téléphonique. Samantha devient une composante constante dans le quotidien de Theodore, ils discutent, se baladent et jouent à des jeux vidéo ensemble. Le moral de Theodore s’améliore de jour en jour grâce à cette relation. Il commence alors à avouer à son entourage – Amy et un collègue de travail – qu’il est dans une relation amoureuse avec une intelligence artificielle. Il est d’abord réticent à l’idée de partager cela avec eux, soucieux du jugement des autres, mais son aveu est plutôt bien reçu. ISBN: 978-3-8379-3219-5 Das vorliegende Werk ist umfangreich und sehr informativ. Es besteht aus drei grossen Teilen, der erste ist eine Einführung, im zweiten und umfangreichsten werden die «aacho»-Projekte beschrieben und im dritten ausgewählte Partnerobjekte vorgestellt. Das Werk entstand nach einer Fachtagung in Zürich im September 2021. «Aacho» heisst auf Schweizerdeutsch ankommen. Das Buch informiert über Therapiemöglichkeiten sowie Inhalte und Angebote dieser «accho»-Projekte, welche der psychotherapeutischen, psychosozialen und medizinischen Unterstützung der Flüchtlinge dienen. Im einleitenden Teil wird in die Themen Trauma, Flucht und Migration eingeführt. Zudem wird auf den Ukraine-Krieg seit Februar 2022 hingewiesen, der kurz vor Erscheinen des Buches begonnen hatte und bis heute zu grossen Flüchtlingsströmen in ganz Europa führt. Migration bedeutet für die Flüchtlinge einen erzwungenen und lebenseinschneidenden Akt, sich in einem sprachlich und kulturell anderen Land anzupassen. Ein Drittel aller Flüchtlinge leidet unter psychischen Erkrankungen wie Depressionen, Angstzuständen und posttraumatischen Belastungsstörungen. Zwei Drittel kämpfen mit Schwierigkeiten im neuen Land Fuss zu fassen. In ihrem Beitrag im ersten Teil beschreibt die Autorin Marianne Leuzinger Bohleber die Grundbedürfnisse jedes Individuums und sein Recht auf Entwicklung und Leben. Demgegenüber steht die kriegsbedingte Zerstörung von Menschen und Kulturen, und kaum etwas scheint diese ungeheure Kriegs-Destruktivität stoppen zu können. At the beginning of 2020, reimbursable TL in Switzerland was limited to a maximum of 24 hours, without any available empirical data on the therapeutic relevance of this procedure. The present study examines the practice from 2015 to 2019 in a large psychiatric care facility in a rural setting. For this purpose, routine data of 2727 inpatient hospitalisations of 2028 patients were analysed descriptively. The relationship of TL and parameters of treatment outcome was investigated in multivariate regression models. In addition, it was examined how the new practice affected the duration and frequency of TL. Further, the attending physicians and psychologists of the facility were asked to assess the current procedure of TL (summer 2021). The data shows, that TL was a widely used and established instrument across all diagnostic groups. Regression analyses showed a significant correlation between the use of TL and better symptomatic treatment outcome as well as reduced rehospitalisation tendency before rationing. As expected, the change in practice led to a significant reduction in the duration of TLs. At the time of the survey after rationing, all 16 participating experts considered TL to be useful and 9 out of 16 advocated for more frequent or longer use of the instrument.
