This paper presents various technical and non-technical issues and investigates the possible remedies for them. Coplanar Waveguide (CPW) fed fractal antenna is to be designed with the design parameters of the size is 30 × 28 × 1.6 mm<sup>3</sup> and the substrate is FR<inf>4</inf> ε<inf>r</inf>=4.4 and tanδ= 0.002. The proposed antenna resonates at 3.1 to 10.8 GHz with a return loss of above −10 dB. The antenna has a better gain of 7 dBi at the UWB band frequency. The antenna is used for variety of applications like defence, secure communication and biomedical applications. This antenna designed to fine-tune at resonating frequency 2.45GHz and 3.6GHz are one of the on-body narrow band communication and WLAN frequency band. This is SRR loaded antenna; hence it has high gain, bandwidth, flexible frequency tune, low-power consumption. The proposed model using a biocompatible material (Teflon) and SRR loaded structure, which is located in between radiation element and skin layer, therefore the designed antenna has enabled to have high gain and more isolation from skin layer. The simulated results for the magnitude of reflection coefficients are −16.5dB at 2.48GHz and −23.1dB at 3.6GHz for SRR loaded proposed antenna, −26.7dB at 2.47GHz and −13.39dB at 3.54GHz for non-SRR loaded proposed antenna respectively. It is known that the users in the train are communicated with the base station by using massive co-located antennas mounted on top of the train termed as Mobile Gateway (MG). The spatial structure of transmitters in wireless networks is used for analyzing the mutual interference and hence the performance has been analyzed. The distance between Base Station (BS) and Mobile Gateway antenna is modeled by the point process. The Ginibre point process (GPP) model is a newly proposed model in this paper for the random occurrences of nodes or users, considering repulsion. ß-GPP, is a special class of GPP is proposed in this paper for wireless networks with repulsion. We derived the closed form expression for Ergodic capacity analysis using ß-GPP. The optimum number of antennas on the train can be found by maximizing the average cell capacity. It is observed that GPP provides a realistic model for wireless networks than Poisson Point Process (PPP). It is inferred that by varying the value of ß the repulsion is controlled and the capacity has been increased. The antenna works over the frequency bands of 1.47GHz–1.61GHz, 2.59GHz–2.94GHz, 3.57GHz–3.69GHz, 3.94GHz–4.08GHz, 4.49GHz–4.73GHz, 5.2GHz–5.4GHz, 6.35GHz–6.6GHz at UHF, microwave and SHF frequency bands. The S11 = −10 dB impedance bandwidth is 140MHz (1.47GHz–1.61GHz), 350MHz (2.59GHz–2.94GHz), 120MHz (3.57GHz–3.69GHz), 140MHz (3.94GHz–4.08GHz), 240MHz (4.49GHz–4.73GHz), 200MHz (5.2GHz–5.4GHz) and 250MHz (6.35GHz–6.6GHz) in different bands. The material FR4 of dielectric constant 4.4 and loss tangent 0.02 is selected as the substrate of the antenna. The antenna could operate in the frequency range of WiFi as well as WLAN enables IOT applications. The extracted fibers were alkali treated which enhances fiber properties. In this study three composites were prepared namely, the first one with palm leaf stalk fiber, the second one with palm leaf sheath fiber and the third one with hybrids of palm leaf stalk/sheath fibers. All these fibers were sandwiched inside glass fibers with polyester resin matrix. The composite plates so prepared were tested as per ASTM standards. Information/Data-Mining is a extraction-progression meaningful information from the dataset. The major steps in data mining are pre-processing, mining and result validation. Classification is one of an important methodology to detect disease for the humans. There are lots of algorithms for classification. Feature selection is a useful method for classification and clustering. This work aims to classify disease based on health information and to take treatment on the early stage with novel feature selection algorithm and ensemble learning based classification. This will improve the feature selection accuracy. Breast cancer detection application is an example of this type of classification. Classification and prediction problems have a vital role in medical decision making. Disease diagnosis is a multiclass classification problem. The classification in disease diagnosis is t o assign a disease label to a particular instance. High dimensional datasets have the problem of presence of unrelated otherwise superfluous features, which often lowers the performance of machine learning algorithm. A suitable feature selection method is required for high dimensional data set classification. Adaptive threshold based random early detection (RED) uses queue occupancy status (e.g. low, medium and high) to make threshold adjustment decisions. Normally, current value of average queue size is used to determine occupancy. In this paper, we propose a method that takes into account instantaneous and average queue size to estimate queue occupancy. Both present and few past values are analyzed to estimate queue occupancy. The situation of under utilization of link and buffer overflow can be avoided with this method. Simulation results of throughput shows that our method keeps high throughput and low packet drop rate. But the cost of the mobile depends on the high quality design and low cost mass production of micro optical lens systems. This is achieved by designing a suitable actuator which leads to the precise focussing of a subject in mobile camera. In this paper, MEMS based Piezoelectric cantilever beam actuator is proposed and designed with different type of piezo material, beam length to width ratio, number of layers and number of beams to achieve optimum focussing and tracking. The investigation reveals that rectangular shape with lead zirconate titanate as piezo material yields the maximum displacement of 4.17989pm The 1:2 actuator length to beam length ratio andfive layer beam improve the maximum displacement. In this paper, Optimal PMU Placement (OPP) problem is solved to obtain the complete observability of power system with minimum number of PMUs under normal and abnormal operating conditions. The proposed OPP problem determines coordinated observability considering multiple contingency cases: single line outage, double line outage resulting in bus isolation, single PMU loss resulting in communication failure. Integer Linear Programming (ILP) is used to determine optimal number and locations for OPP problem. Moreover, Optimal PMU placement problem with conventional measurements is modified for incorporation of bus isolation caused due to contingency. The effectiveness of proposed methodology has been tested on IEEE 14-bus system and New England 39-bus power system.
