Some of the physical symptoms are related to the autonomic nervous system. In this study, we tried to estimate the activity of the autonomic nerves in depression by measuring motor activity and R-R interval. Our results suggest that the activity of the sympathetic nerves is higher and that of the vagal nerves system is lower in depressive state.","PeriodicalId":367355,"journal":{"name":"2015 International Conference on Informatics, Electronics & Vision (ICIEV)","volume":"2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-06-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124346534","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Therefore, several devices are already implemented for the purposes. However, maximum of those devices require many individual applicable accessories and transfer modes and thus the motion sensing equipment become complicated and extra burden to the applicants. Furthermore, most of the available motion sensors still need cable connections to the data transmission system although, very few wireless sensors are recently introducing with high costing. Particularly, for imaging the muscle activities of human body with EMG sensors for different human actions, several devices of sensors, connecting wires, data-logger etc. are necessary. All of these connections make extra obstacles in the experiment of human movements. Therefore, wireless sensing systems are demanded to invent. In the present paper a simple image processing technique by using a USB camera system has been explained for conducting the dynamic analysis of knee joint during its flexor-extensor effects. Particularly, the proposed imaging system is used in acquisition of angular position data of knee joint movements during standing and sitting conditions. The algorithm has been developed in the Intel Open Source Computer Vision Library (OpenCV) platform. The acquisition data of the proposed technique also compared with the goniometer system and found the reasonable acceptance of the proposed system.","PeriodicalId":367355,"journal":{"name":"2015 International Conference on Informatics, Electronics & Vision (ICIEV)","volume":"12 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-06-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130421784","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Although, the reasoning of OA in knee joint does not concentrated to the present paper, however, the influences of related muscular co-activities with knee flexor-extensor actions are figured out in the present research. Particularly, the muscle reflection action of two major skeletal muscles at knee are investigated with aging functions of participants. EMG signals have been collected from the Vastus lateralis and the Gastrocnemius for the dynamic movements (standing and sitting) of knee joint. Aged participants (around 60 years old) and young participants (around 20 years old) joined the experiments. Data have been collected from both legs, however, analysis is shown only for left leg in this paper. EMG sensors and the related devices for this sensing technique have been installed based on the instructions of Biometric Co. Ltd. The result shows that the voltage amplitudes of EMG signals vary largely with increasing ages and thus, the result focuses the postural effectiveness of muscular activities in the stability challenges of knee joint movements.","PeriodicalId":367355,"journal":{"name":"2015 International Conference on Informatics, Electronics & Vision (ICIEV)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-06-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130531517","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Two segment-based protection algorithms are proposed to solve this problem, they are Low Spectrum First Segmented Protection Algorithm (LSF-SPA) and K-Tree Segmented Protection Algorithm (KT-SPA). The simulation results for static multicast requests show that the blocking ratio and resource utilization ratio of KT-SPA and LSF-SPA are better than the other conventional methods. The blocking ratio of KT-SPA is better than LSF-SPA.","PeriodicalId":367355,"journal":{"name":"2015 International Conference on Informatics, Electronics & Vision (ICIEV)","volume":"31 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-06-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115077202","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We developed an iPhone6 application “iPhoneSG”, by which we can measure the the velocity on the field in near real-time at the precision in the range of ±1km/h, using standalone image processing technique on it. In contrast with trasitional Rader Speed Guns, which must be placed on the extended line of the ball movement to work, iPhoneSG does the job from lateral direction of the ball trajectories. iPhoneSG widens the possible area of data aquisition. Moreover, we can share and analise the pitched ball data easily and quickly with mobile phone's network abilities.","PeriodicalId":367355,"journal":{"name":"2015 International Conference on Informatics, Electronics & Vision (ICIEV)","volume":"4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-06-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116623524","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In typical PRAs, the human error are considered in the development of fault trees as well as event trees for some special cases. They have been identified as important contributors to plant risk in many PRAs. Nevertheless, there are no HRA (human reliability ana1ysis) method universally accepted for quantifying the human error probability (HEP). So, in this paper, an example of the analysis of an aircraft accident was shown by using HRA method, THERP. This aircraft accident was actually occurred in Japan. While locomotion quantification of single animals is straightforward, simultaneous analysis of multiple animals in a group is challenging. If performed manually, such analyses are labour-intensive and potentially unreliable, thereby necessitating the use of machine vision algorithms for automatic processing. Machine vision algorithms need to reliably label each animal and maintain all animal identities throughout the video-recorded experiment. This allows detailed characterization of behaviours such as taxis, locomotion and social interaction. In this study, we present an algorithm for analysing the locomotion behaviour of the fruit fly Drosophila melanogaster, a popular model organism in neurobiology. Our algorithm detects all flies inside a circular arena, determines their position and orientation and assigns fly identities between consecutive frame pairs. Position and orientation of the flies are accurately estimated with average errors of 0.108 ± 0.006 mm (approximately 5% of fly body length) and 2.2 ± 0.2°, respectively. Importantly, fly identity is correctly assigned in 99.5% of the cases. Our algorithm can be used to quantify the linear and angular velocities of walking flies in the presence or absence of various behaviourally important stimuli.","PeriodicalId":367355,"journal":{"name":"2015 International Conference on Informatics, Electronics & Vision (ICIEV)","volume":"13 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-06-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122217787","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The algorithm is used to enhance the convergence of the Vth distribution in the array. The Vth shift level of each NOI memory is controlled by the sequential programming and read out pulse. In this study, we accomplish three non-overlap states of Vt distribution in the total voltage window (TVW) of the NOI memory circuit. The results can keep the three non-overlap states of Vt distribution even through high temperature baking. In this way, the data can be stored into three different logic states in a single cell to achieve higher density storage ability in NOI memory array circuit.","PeriodicalId":367355,"journal":{"name":"2015 International Conference on Informatics, Electronics & Vision (ICIEV)","volume":"139 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-06-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125474769","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A mobile robot is equipped with wireless charger and navigates in the environment of various battery nodes in order to charge the network in an efficient way. The presented research in this paper illustrates design and development of real functional system with the aim to change the traditional way of carrying the battery to charger into navigating the charger to batteries. Even though some theoretical research on this field was available however the working prototype has been not developed yet hence we focused on the practical application and brought the concept into practice. We initiated the research by reviewing the existing wireless power transmission technologies and later on equipped mobile robots with QI standard compatible WPT. The complete prototype architecture from both the hardware and software aspects is presented in this paper. We believe such architecture can be a useful testbed for bringing such technology from theory to practice.","PeriodicalId":367355,"journal":{"name":"2015 International Conference on Informatics, Electronics & Vision (ICIEV)","volume":"214 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-06-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117342702","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
