Using such an integrated system, precise attitude of moving platforms can be obtained. The discussion in this paper focuses on precise attitude determination by GPS/INS integration. A highly accurate attitude determination algorithm of a linear convex combination of a linear-two-point and a quadratic-five-point polynomial to filter and predict GPS/INS attitude data is presented in this paper. An integration experiment of real GPS data and simulated INS data shows the validity of this method.","PeriodicalId":366998,"journal":{"name":"2001 CIE International Conference on Radar Proceedings (Cat No.01TH8559)","volume":"89 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2001-10-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115220257","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The spectral response of coded waveforms have significant spectral components outside the half power bandwidth, these components are corrupted when filtered by a typical radar receiver. Radar receiver digitisers generally sample such coded waveforms at the same rate as the code, which creates ambiguities in the spectral response and hence complicates correction. This paper analyses the effect that a filter has on coded CW radar waveforms with perfect periodic correlation functions by examination of the resultant sampled response and the correlation function. Techniques to derive simple spectral correction masks are then examined and results are produced for measured and theoretical filter responses.","PeriodicalId":366998,"journal":{"name":"2001 CIE International Conference on Radar Proceedings (Cat No.01TH8559)","volume":"74 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2001-10-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114477836","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is intended to investigate various media and, in particular, to detect defects in building constructions. One of the characteristic features of the radar, designed on the basis of a portable computer, is the availability of an ultrasonic exact positioning system that allows automatic collection of radar data for three-dimensional imagery of the volume under the investigated surface. Results of sensing of a concrete wall with armature and placed behind it metal and plastic objects are presented. Results of experiments on the polarization recognition of subsurface objects are discussed.","PeriodicalId":366998,"journal":{"name":"2001 CIE International Conference on Radar Proceedings (Cat No.01TH8559)","volume":"36 1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2001-10-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125870634","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Changing demands on radar performance imply the need for a new scale of representation in simulations. To meet these new demands, the classical macroscopic descriptions no longer provide enough information.
