This covers institutional, socio-political, security and also multifaceted aspects due to the diversity of actors. The objective sought by our approach is to contribute to understanding in order to propose possible solutions despite the complexity of the crisis and the multiplicity of actors. In a specific way it is a question of defining the various capitals which constitute the framework of the means of existence, of Demonstrating how each capital is affected by the effects of the crisis, of Defining the nature of the shock which put the capitals in a state vulnerability and Propose resilience measures for different levels. We used a reading grid that allowed us to use the livelihoods analysis framework. The results obtained after analysis show us that the 5 capitals which constitute the means of existence are affected by the effects of the crisis in their nature. To achieve peace some alternatives are proposed just as in other similar cases elsewhere, similar initiatives were developed.","PeriodicalId":364314,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Agriculture, Environment and Bioresearch","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131969582","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Given the high cost of these products, the difficulties related to their preservation and their accessibility, the need to replace them with others that are less expensive, more accessible and easy to preserve is essential. This study aims to transform camel milk into yogurt using natural coagulants of vegetable origin such as extracts of Balanites aegyptiaca fruits. The physicochemical, microbiological and organoleptic characteristics of yogurts prepared using these extracts were determined using standardized methods. (AFNOR, Codex Alimentarius). The physico-chemical and organoleptic parameters show that the yoghurt obtained with the fruits of Balanites aegyptiaca is comparable to the yoghurt with lactic ferments. The evaluation of the coagulant properties of extracts of plant origin such as the fruits of Balanites aegyptiaca made it possible to optimize the conditions of extraction of extracts of plant origin and the conditions of coagulation of camel milk by these extracts. This study showed that the proteases from Balanites aegyptiaca pulp extracts are able to replace lactic ferments for yoghurt. This result is promising, especially since the availability and cost of these plant extracts are within reach of camel breeders and easy to obtain.","PeriodicalId":364314,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Agriculture, Environment and Bioresearch","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130966645","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is the plant's dispersal unit, which is able to survive the period between seed maturation and the establishment of the next generation as a seedling after germination. For this survival, the seed is mainly in a dry state, and well equipped to withstand long periods of adverse conditions. To optimize germination, the seed goes into a dormant state. Dormancy prevents germination before harvest. This seed dormancy allows the seeds to overcome unfavorable periods for seedlings. Several processes are known to be involved in the induction of dormancy and in the transition from dormant to germinal state. Many studies have been done to better understand how germination is controlled by various endogenous and exogenous factors. Thus, the biochemical and physiological factors linked to dormancy and the germination process as well as the role of phytohormones and genes involved in different tissues are described and discussed in this article.","PeriodicalId":364314,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Agriculture, Environment and Bioresearch","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130997181","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Its first sexual maturity height is 17.5 cm TL in females and 23.4 cm TL in males. Sexual dimorphism based on observation of the genital papilla is difficult to recognize. The fish species is carnivorous with rapid growth rate. For further evaluation of its aquaculture potential in Benin Republic, the current study aims to make a review on the reproductive aspect of P. obscura. Its resistance, rapid growth and high economic and nutritional values represent important potential for aquaculture because it is highly appreciated by the West African population in general. The natural stock of P. obscurais currently threatened to disappearance in Benin due to fishing pressures that lead to overexploitation. A successful rearing of P. obscura in controlled medium could ensure not only the preservation and improvement of natural stocks but also the production of food fish for sustainable aquaculture.","PeriodicalId":364314,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Agriculture, Environment and Bioresearch","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128859594","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The data were collected through an interview schedule from 65 respondents of 4 upazila/ thana of Dhaka city who were involved in cattle fattening. Parameters were studied in relation to socio- economic conditions of farmers and use of anabolic steroids and feed additives and their effects on animals and environment. In this study 80.0% farmers' were involved in others occupation, followed by 17.0% in livestock business. About 65.0% respondents had higher education, 20.0% had higher secondary education, 12.0% obtained secondary education and the rest of them were primary education. Irrespective of literacy only 6.0% of the farmer had training. Results showed that about 58% respondents used anabolic steroids for the duration of 3 to 6 months long cattle fattening (P<0.001) program. The chi-square (11.093) value of annual income indicates that with increase of annual income and use of anabolic steroids have decreased. The significant (P<0.01) association was observed in case of anabolic steroids and source of money, annual income, number of cattle fattening, breeds, fattening period, starting and finishing age. About 78% respondents used feed additives for cattle fattening from own resources (P<0.001) and most of cattle fattened for 3 to 6 months (P<0.01). The result demonstrated that respondents of low annual income used more anabolic steroid and feed additives as a growth promoter for cattle fattening and they prefer in powder form.","PeriodicalId":364314,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Agriculture, Environment and Bioresearch","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126050704","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Yet, this way of life is still as gruesome to hear. The present research aims to understand the foundations of the practices of ritual incest in the Fon communities of Abomey-Calavi. In order to do this, a methodological approach based on documentary research, field investigation is essential: direct observation, interviews with 30 individuals were used with the technique of reasoned choice and snowball. The functionalist strategic approaches of B. Malinowki, the determinism of the sociology of deviancy of A. Ogien's determinism of the sociology of deviance and especially the historical method which seemed to be a privileged means to describe, tell and better understand an episode or a person's life experience were used to analyze the data. It emerged that the zankoumando incest ritual practiced in the Fon community since time immemorial is an ancestral heritage and is neither a taboo nor a social anomaly. The rite It ensures the social and cultural balance of the actors. However, the rite is depreciated by the collective vision because it is a social prohibition and a social norm that must be preserved. It is inconceivable that a father and his daughter, a mother and her son, a brother and a sister, in short two parents of the same blood make love to each other or even marry at the right wedding.","PeriodicalId":364314,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Agriculture, Environment and Bioresearch","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122609032","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Structural questionnaire such as focus group discussion (FGD) targeting young energetic farmers between the ages of 21-30 years was used. Random sampling technique was employed to select one hundred respondents from the two settlements, (50 each from the two settlements). The data obtained were subjected to descriptive statistics (such as frequency, percentages and tables). The result showed that cane rat (Thryonomys swinderianus) (37%) and rabbit (Capensis cuniculus) (32%) caused the most damage to the Fadama crops as compared to giant snails, (Achatina achatina (11%) and Nile rat (Arvicanthis niloticus) (20%). Furthermore, 44% of the farmers agreed that the animals visited the farms at night and while 25% and 11% believed the visits were in both night and early morning respectively. Attempt to control the wildlife pests revealed that most species continually killed could be as a result of lack of awareness campaign, agro forestry practices and integrated farming system. These endangered species or at least threatened may pose a dangerous trend to our wildlife conservation principles. However, this can be minimized through well planned education programmes for the farmers.","PeriodicalId":364314,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Agriculture, Environment and Bioresearch","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133171330","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
