Central Bank of Indonesia in 2009 launched the National Non-Cash Movement or more commonly referred to as the Less Cash Society (LCS), particularly in conducting transactions on economic activities using non-cash instruments. CBI's motive for launching the LCS was due to the rampant cases of counterfeiting money, as well as the high operational costs incurred by CBIeach year for printing, distributing, storing and destroying money. Then came what is known as electronic money (electronic money). Some of the e-money operators and other companies that have helped build e-money supporting infrastructure are fintech, and digital technology-based forms of financial services from fintech. The research method used in this study is explanatory research with quantitative solutions. Meanwhile, the variables analyzed are e-money, inflation and investment. The relationship between e-money and inflation and investment is a linear and direct relationship. Meanwhile, the relationship between inflation and investment is a reciprocal relationship. Therefore, the analysis model in this study used a simultaneous regression model which was estimated by the 2SLS method (two stage least squares) with the help of E-views software. This application is widely used for statistical and econometric analysis of time series data types. Broadly speaking, high e-money transactions affect the velocity of money circulation and the large amount of money circulating in society, and in theory (monetary quantity) e-money transactions can affect the inflation rate in Indonesia. So that with the growth of e-money users and transactions, the risk of inflation will increase.","PeriodicalId":363851,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Economics, Business and Management Research","volume":"23 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"136304807","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Using an established consumer decision making paradigm, participants were randomly assigned to hypothetical scenarios where purchase descriptors were experimentally manipulated. Consumer happiness, subjective well being, consumer choice, and additional consumer attitude variables were utilized as outcome variables. There was evidence that participants differed in consumer happiness based on the specific purchase descriptor condition they were assigned to. This research contributes to the scholarly consumer decision making literature by adding clarity on the role of important purchase-related variables on consumer happiness. It also provides practical application for consumers as they attempt to maximize future happiness levels in the many consumption decisions they encounter on a daily basis.","PeriodicalId":363851,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Economics, Business and Management Research","volume":"186 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"136305493","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In the context of Vietnam, tourism has become one of the major contributors to the economic value of the Gross Domestic Product (TITC, 2022). However, in the current tourism and hospitality industry, the top challenge lies in the lacking attraction and retention of qualified and skilled employees (Mohammed & Rashid 2016). To develop sustainable tourism for the region and whole nation and to become a spearhead economic sector, it is necessary to develop human resources. This source of tourism labor will meet high-quality requirements in terms of degree and integration. Through different cooperating models between Thai Nguyen University of Sciences (TNUS) and tourism enterprises, This research aims to summarize collaborating modes between educational institutions and tourism enterprises in training students to satisfy requirements in the reality.","PeriodicalId":363851,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Economics, Business and Management Research","volume":"31 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"136306220","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Often, the domestic market experiences a downturn which has a negative impact on business operations and sales. When the business goes global, this minimizes the risk of a market downturn due to other options. There is always an opportunity to take advantage of the global position to protect the business and gain new market share. One alternative to protect and improve business performance is to increase sustainable competitive advantage. However, to achieve optimal sustainable competitive advantage, the role of entrepreneurial orientation and culture is needed to innovate sustainably. The main purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of entrepreneurial orientation and innovation culture on the sustainable competitive advantage of SMEs. This study uses a causal quantitative research design. The number of samples used in this study was 170 SME business actors. The data analysis method used is Partial Least Square (PLS). The data analysis test tool uses the statistical software Smartpls 3.0. The results of this study conclude that entrepreneurial orientation and innovation culture have a positive and significant effect on sustainable competitive advantage. The results also confirm that the innovation culture can mediate the relationship between entrepreneurial orientation and sustainable competitive advantage.","PeriodicalId":363851,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Economics, Business and Management Research","volume":"213 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133155704","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It helps to increase both foreign earnings and employment in the country. Despite the positive effects of honey on society, there is still a lack of focus on the factors influencing the market price of honey. The current study intends to look into related factors affecting the price determination of honey in Mvomero district. Specifically, the study aims to assess how the cost, quality and demand of honey affect the market price of honey. The study adopted a cross sectional research design whereby data were collected once from 100 respondents who are honey value chain actors (harvesters, traders and processors) in Mvomero district. Quantitative data retrieved from the questionnaires were analyzed by using SPSS version 20 in which descriptive and binary logistic regression were determined. Results showed that factors such as cost and demand were statistically significant associated with market price of honey in the study area. Furthermore, the quality positively influenced the honey price but not statistically significant in the study area. The study concluded that some explanatory variables include; demand and cost of honey significantly influence the market price of honey along the value chain (p < 0.05). But the quality of honey was not statistically different (p>0.05). The study recommends that majority of beekeepers are capable, but due to a lack of funding and equipment, they are forced to use outdated technology for producing, harvesting, and marketing their products.
