The use of 8B/10B coding is an important technique in the construction of high performance serial interfaces. These are particularly suitable for alleviating the I/O bottleneck of state of the art systems (which are pinout, rather than bandwidth limited). The model and ODRCA support both single-path routing and multi-path routing. The validity and convergence of ODRCA not only are analyses in theory, but also are supported by simulations. This paper discuss about the development of multiplayer racing game application based on 3D mobile technology for windows pocket PC platform. The new technology on direct 3D mobile will be used for handling the games and also used racing track, which has built from photo satellite and then built the 3D map. To handling multiplayer, systems have combined the application with Dead reckoning algorithm. This algorithm quite easy and very useful to handle a lot of packet that sent through wireless media (WIFI). To realize such a switch, we have introduced the new architecture of optical switch that embedded many functions on single device. With the use of MEMs technology has minimized the effect of crosstalk and return loss. The multifunctional device means the integration of single functional device onto one architecture and OXADM achieved the point with its unique architecture. With the 'accumulation' function, OXADM has widened its application to fiber to the home (FTTH) and network security system. The main function of OXADM is to reconfigure the optical channel path while implementing add and drop function simultaneously. The multifunctional OXADM can works as single optical devices such as multiplexer, demultiplexer, OXC, OADM, Wavelength Selective Coupler (WSC) and Wavelength Roundabout (WRB). With such the excellent features, the OXADM is expected to be unique, universal and with a high reliability that is used to overcome the various functions in WDM communication network today. The experimental results show the value of crosstalk and return loss is bigger than 60 dB and 40 dB respectively. In our previous results have also shown the value of insertion loss was less than 0.06 dB under ideal condition, the maximum length that can be achieved is 94 km. While when considering the loss, with the transmitter power of 0 dBm and sensitivity -22.8 dBm at a point-to-point configuration with safety margin, the required transmission is 71 km with OXADM. When a node broadcasts, all nodes within its radio coverage will attempt to relay the message by rebroadcasting, causing excessive radio communication in the region that leads to what so- called broadcast storm problem. In this paper, we present a novel broadcasting algorithm, termed NBA, for wireless sensor networks. It uses two-hop neighborhood information to select a subset of nodes to rebroadcast messages among all nodes in the neighborhood. Each node in the network selects its own set of forwarder neighbors from among its one-hop neighbors. NBA is evaluated against Span, a well- known algorithm from the literature through realistic simulations using TOSSIM. Although many approaches have been proposed to solve the broadcast storm problem, none have been regarded as the satisfying solution. In this paper, we propose a distance-based dynamically adjusted probabilistic forwarding scheme and compare it with simple flooding and fixed probabilistic schemes. Our approach dynamically adjusts the rebroadcast probability according to the distance from the sender. The adaption is based only on distance without the assistance of neighbor knowledge. Knowledge of node location is essential for many applications for which sensor networks can be used. At the surface, positioning problems have been resolved by the extended use of GPS, which is straightforward and effective. Unfortunately, using GPS in the sub-sea environment is impossible and positioning requires the use of special systems. One of the major challenges in the underwater acoustic networks (UANs) area of research is the development of a networking protocol that can cope with the management of a dynamic sub-sea network. We propose a scheme to perform node discovery, using only one seed node (primary seed) in a known position. The discovery protocol can be divided into two parts: First, building up the relative co-ordinate system. Second, involving more remote nodes becoming seed nodes for further discoveries. Four different algorithms have been investigated; (i) Farthest/Farthest Algorithm, (ii) Farthest/Nearest Algorithm, (iii) Nearest/Farthest Algorithm and (iv) Nearest/Nearest Algorithm. We investigated the performances of random network topologies. It is designed by improving all drawbacks appear in the previous device with some interesting features added. The OXADM node focuses on providing functionalities of transport, multiplexing, routing, supervision, termination and survivability in the optical layer for both ring and mesh topologies. The main function of OXADM is to reconfigure the optical channel path while implementing add and drop function simultaneously. The accumulation function offers by OXADM enable all transmitted signals to be multiplexed and routed in a single path. Meanwhile the 'U turn mechanism' can be implemented without the need of drop and re-add function. Hence, OXADM provide survivability in physical layer through restoration against failures by means of linear, multiplex and ring protection to both configurations. Hybrid restoration technique with OXADM enables the linear, ring and multiplex protection mechanism to be integrated in single optical network, and it will be activated according to the degree and types of failure. The paper calculates the OSNR according to the percentage of network failures and span variation. The method of this study involves the building and characterizing of two OXADMs, simulating by using Optisystem and modeling them analytically. Loss characterization and measured OSNR are compared with the analytical values. We also demonstrate OXADM optical switch mechanism with detail experimental set up explanation. Differentiated Services (DiffServ) is an emerging technology that provides QoS and traffic engineering features in Internet Protocol (IP) Network by programming the IXP2400 Intel Network Processor. Since the introduction of the network processors, there have been a number of network services developed based on the special-built, packet processing optimized programmable microprocessors. This paper is mainly concerns on how to deploy DiffServ in order to assess priority functionalities. A scheduling mechanism was developed on the IXP2400 network processor to provide QoS by maintaining priority of incoming packets based on criteria i.e. class of packets and traffic. The queuing mechanism improves the QoS of the traffic at the expense of some performance degradation. To reduce the performance degradation, a cache unit has been added into the operation of the QoS mechanism to cut down SRAM access during the lookup operation. A performance study was then carried out to evaluate the performance of the QoS mechanism after adding the cache unit. The overall speed is enhanced and delay is minimized.
