The pump has a programmable syringe device used to control the injection level of drugs. These pumps are even used in the ICU or operating theaters to manage patient's pain after surgery or sedation. PK-PD Models are used to obtain the drug concentrations levels of the patient. The model depends on the drug flow rates in different parts of the body. There are many parameter sets available to measure the amount of drugs in the patients. This article presents a three compartmental patient model through Simulink to obtain concentrations levels from different parts of the body. The model is checked for a seven parameter set and suggests the set with the best results.","PeriodicalId":36298,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Reliable and Quality E-Healthcare","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"https://sci-hub-pdf.com/10.4018/IJRQEH.2019010105","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"45143980","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Others were to find out the frequency of use, the purposes and barriers against the use. Two hypotheses formulated and tested. This is a total enumeration research with 265 COMUI Academic Physicians, Nigeria. Questionnaire, designed with nominal and dichotomous questions was used. Data collected was analyzed with SPSS version 20.0. Descriptive statistics was used. Test of Pearson Moment Correlation (PMC) with Independent Sample t – test at 5% p – value used. The Academic Physicians mean age was 37.75. The results obtained indicated variations: 96.0% aware and used HINARI, 94.0% aware and used PubMed/Medline, NCBI was 64.9%. Hypothesis Test between awareness and use of EHIRs signified coefficient of proportionality (r = 218, p < 05).","PeriodicalId":36298,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Reliable and Quality E-Healthcare","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"48239100","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Laws addressing the Universal Statement for Human Rights have been set as early as 1948 and, as years go by, awareness further strengthens legislative actions. Through his work at Interamerican insurance company, the author shows that alignment with legislation, though perceived as a resource-intensive, counter-productive process, may be turned into an opportunity for fine tuning, promoting the operations of a company, and raising the trust towards IT.","PeriodicalId":36298,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Reliable and Quality E-Healthcare","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"https://sci-hub-pdf.com/10.4018/IJRQEH.2018100103","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"47320520","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Five hundred and ninety-four (594) articles have been analyzed with a systematic review method. The change of the articles by year, the distribution according to the countries, universities, authors, citation analysis, and research fields were examined. As a result of this research, it was determined that the articles and citations have tended to increase rapidly after 2012. The US plays a pioneering role in this field, the universities in the USA publish most of the articles on the subject, and the USA-based authors dominate the field. In addition, it has been determined that mHealth-related articles tend to increase in undeveloped and developing countries, where mHealth projects are concentrated. Finally, based on research findings, some suggestions were made for researchers, developers and practitioners.","PeriodicalId":36298,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Reliable and Quality E-Healthcare","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"https://sci-hub-pdf.com/10.4018/IJRQEH.2018070101","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"43075583","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, despite advances in specific treatment, approximately 40% to 50% of patients have disease recurrence following potentially curative surgery, highlighting the demand for improvement of staging, treatment and prognosis. Inflammatory infiltration composed of lymphocytes is a common feature found in neoplasms and studies have indicated an association between tumor immune infiltrates and favorable disease outcomes. The aim of this article is to assess the association of tumor infiltrating lymphocytes and DNA damage response expression levels with disease outcome and survival in stage II and III CRC. The authors examined the prognostic value of immunological biomarkers using 5-year follow-up data to train an Artificial Neural Network (ANN) designed for the prediction of personalized risk. Data for three biomarkers which were found significant were subsequently used to train the ANN which predicted 5-year survival with 72.9% sensitivity and 68.8% specificity.","PeriodicalId":36298,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Reliable and Quality E-Healthcare","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"https://sci-hub-pdf.com/10.4018/IJRQEH.2018070102","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"41595587","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It has the potential for further growth as it is low-cost health care. For its further growth, it is necessary to widen its scope. In this article, a proposal is presented to develop a new and advanced mHealth care system, and its first step that is modelling is reported. In modelling, historically, a model of a temporal object system (TOS) is used. The model empowers users of the proposed mHealth care system to define, retrieve and manipulate all objects historically, in a uniform fashion, and also to keep historically the changes that occur to the objects. Later, these historically stored objects can be consulted during making essential and crucial decisions about the patients (objects) and other objects of the system, and it can save both lives and money. Also, the stored objects can be used in the future planning and research.","PeriodicalId":36298,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Reliable and Quality E-Healthcare","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"https://sci-hub-pdf.com/10.4018/IJRQEH.2018070104","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"46661151","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
