The design of this study was a mixed method with the Triangulation Design: Validating Quantitative Data Model procedure. In this model, researchers will collect quantitative data and qualitative data, then analyze each of these data. The next stage is to carry out further analysis by validating the results of quantitative analysis using qualitative results. The population in the study were all ULM students. The sample to determine the role of librarians in learning, namely 500 students. Data collection techniques are instrument validation by validators, filling out questionnaires, taking open-ended interview data to deepen the description of the effectiveness of the role of ULM librarians as TEMAN KARIB (Tempat Efektif Menemukan ANeKA Referensi, Ilmu, dan Buku) in learning. The conclusion from the results of this study is that most of the students, namely 40.466% of students agree that librarians can effectively act as TEMAN KARIB (Tempat Efektif Menemukan ANeKA Referensi, Ilmu, dan Buku) in learning. 27.84% of students strongly agree. This activity aims to make it easier for someone to organize their information effectively and efficiently. The error encountered by researchers is that students only store the information they have obtained into the bookmark manager without organizing the information. The storage period for information that has been stored is approximately 3-4 years and the rest of the information is no longer useful. The purpose of this study was to identify the personal information management and behavior of Undip students in utilizing bookmark managers. The method used in this research is qualitative. The data collection technique of this research used observation and semi-structured interviews. Informants were selected using a purposive sampling technique. 6 informants have been interviewed. The data analysis technique used was qualitative data analysis from Miles and Huberman which consisted of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the information management activities carried out by students included: selecting, storing, and managing student information. Also, bookmark managers have a positive impact on students, because they are effective and efficient enough to be used continuously. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kelengkapan fasilitas dan kapabilitas searching dan browsing pada OPAC perpustakaan UIN. Selain itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi precision (ketepatan) OPAC sebagai sarana temu kembali informasi dan mengujinapakah fasilitas searching berpengaruh terhadap tingkat precision.Dengan menggunakan data kualitatis yaitu yang berkaitan dengan kelengkapan fasilitas searching dan browsing, maka peneliti mencoba untuk melihat efektivitas OPAC Perpustakaan Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) sebagai system temu kembali dengan mengambil lima OPAC UIN sebagai sampel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada beberapa fasilitas searching dan browsing yang tidak dimilikioleh OPAC UIN seperti menu bantuan penelusuran,keterbtasan deskripsi bibliografi.
