The mutual connections of the latter, on the one hand, are clearly reflected in the poetic works, on the other hand, the natural and geographical location of the place, combined with the specifics of a certain culture, affects the cultural life of the given place, its manifestations. It should be noted, however, that in the modern world, as a result of urbanization, globalization and technocratization, the connection with one's own body, the natural world, traditional cultures and natural creativity is being disrupted. We believe that the practice of expressive art therapy can contribute to the establishment of connections with the nature. It can increase body awareness and promote understanding of the body as a thinking and feeling system. The body then becomes a creator of meanings, ideas that lives through the creation of art forms. They can be used in the context of expressive arts therapy, both nature-oriented and culture-oriented expressive arts therapy.","PeriodicalId":36159,"journal":{"name":"Scientific Bulletin of Naval Academy","volume":"52 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135784514","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Successfully detecting and removing mines from the maritime environment (especially drifting mines, which have re-emerged in the spotlight following the outbreak of war in Ukraine in February 2022) remains a key requirement for maritime forces trying to maintain the security of waterways and oceans around the world. The overall objective of the project, which is the subject of this paper, is to develop and integrate autonomous means (UAVs and USVs) into the concept of action of specialized forces for the search and identification of sea mines. As a starting point in the definition of the overall objective, it has been taken into account that the intervention of specialized forces to neutralize explosive devices involves a series of complex actions, including search, detection, identification, location-based assessment, safe destruction/neutralization, recovery, and destruction of improvised explosive devices or munitions.","PeriodicalId":36159,"journal":{"name":"Scientific Bulletin of Naval Academy","volume":"167 2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135860662","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is defined by the maximum disturbance levels in each interior compartment and on the ship's decks. The electromagnetic environment on board a ship is extremely complex, as it depends to a large extent on the density of equipment on board, the characteristics of the equipment installed (frequency bands, power, modulation types, etc.), the measures to prevent electromagnetic radiation pollution taken by designing the ship in such a way that the electromagnetic field strength inside the ship is as low as possible, with reduced risks to the normal operation of the equipment on board and to the personnel on board. The installation of radars in the on-board electromagnetic environment requires an analysis of the electromagnetic compatibility standards that apply to them. To prevent electromagnetic interference in such systems involves describing the composition of the environment and the interaction between different components. The paper presents a risk-based characterisation of the on-board electromagnetic environment for electromagnetic compatibility analysis.","PeriodicalId":36159,"journal":{"name":"Scientific Bulletin of Naval Academy","volume":"37 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135860664","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This paper presents the methodological steps of the shaft line alignment (as a case study for a bulk carrier vessel of 180 000 tdw) through two classic approaches: with the help of a ruler and feeler gauge (templet) respectively with the help of dial gauge. Comparative analysis of the performances of the two methods, can provide essential information to an engineer in choosing the optimal option for alignment of the shaft lines both in the case of vessels in service and, mainly, in the case of new building’s. The originality of the work consists in carrying out the detailed calculations for displacements and breaks, with the graphical highlighting of the calculated values in the limit allowed intervals. Also, for each method are presented and commented the advantages and disadvantages.","PeriodicalId":36159,"journal":{"name":"Scientific Bulletin of Naval Academy","volume":"120 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135860667","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

But what did this entail? Such questions might arise throughout this process: does face-to-face traditional teaching still find its place within the maritime classroom? what novelties does e-learning (as didactic method) bring to it? which digital methods to use? is there a discernable shift from instructor to facilitator of instructional activities?, etc. This paper sets out to report on a close examination of the above-mentioned issues that the field of teaching/learning maritime/naval terminology in English is currently facing, as presented and discussed during a webinar related to this key topic.","PeriodicalId":36159,"journal":{"name":"Scientific Bulletin of Naval Academy","volume":"31 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135860668","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The study will discuss the impact of online interactive activities in a game-like format on student motivation, as well as on the speed and quality of the subsequent linguistic intake. Classroom observations have shown that gamified learning activities and strategies have enriched the learning process by prompting a higher level of engagement with the learning content, by fostering participation, developing transferable digital skills, encouraging student autonomy and ultimately leading to learner empowerment. The paper will also provide some practical demonstrations of such gamified language learning activities with the aim of sharing best practices and encouraging the use of ICT means in the teaching and learning process.","PeriodicalId":36159,"journal":{"name":"Scientific Bulletin of Naval Academy","volume":"40 3 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135860669","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The results analysed by the GIS platforms can be used by the specialists in all fields of operational planning by providing the requested data that can improve the performance of operational planning. The obvious need for the development process of the operational planning system in the context of the adoption of planning procedures appears as an opportunity, especially in the current stage of the reformation of the National Army. The geographical characteristics of the area of operation are thoroughly analysed from all available geographical sources. Until now, the most effective method of determining the geographical features of the terrain in the area of operation was considered to be reading from printed topographic maps, which included a series of additional determinations and analyses that were carried out through complex and long-lasting procedures. Accordingly, this fact was not allowing quick decision-making, and often, erroneous analysis of the terrain could lead to incorrect deductions that required commanders of all levels to make wrong conclusions, accordingly to expose them by orders.","PeriodicalId":36159,"journal":{"name":"Scientific Bulletin of Naval Academy","volume":"10 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135860678","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
