While energy wastage, because of imperfect utilization of facilities and IT hardware, has to a great extent been decreased using best-practice advances, tending to energy loss in IT equipment, still requires the plan and usage of energy-aware resource management frameworks. Various methods aimed to enhance the energy efficiency in data centers have been developed in the field related to the development of resource allocation. In fact, researchers and scientists utilize numerous ways to improve effectiveness for optimized power and performance: scaling virtual machine and server preparing abilities to minimize energy consumption, enhancing resource use through exploiting its heterogeneity and consolidating the workload. To accomplish these objectives, there is multiple proposes models, calculations, algorithms, techniques, and procedures that diminish energy use using virtual machine scaling, virtual machine sizing for CPU and memory, CPU frequency adjustment, and also equipment power control for resource allocation in the server-level. In this context, we present different formulas for calculating energy consumption in cloud data centers and we propose a simplified and completed deduced formula for energy consumption estimation.","PeriodicalId":360150,"journal":{"name":"2019 International Conference of Computer Science and Renewable Energies (ICCSRE)","volume":"90 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-07-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115859589","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The robots collect debris from the environment and dump them in a designated arena. The energy of each robot decreases as it works and when the energy becomes lower than a fixed threshold, it switches to the charging mode. Under this mode, a robot goes to a destined area to charge itself up. Besides just gaining energy from the designated charging area, they can also share energy with each other when required. The way the robots share energy is inspired by the trophallactic behavior displayed by ant colonies. The model proposed in this paper is inspired by the behavior and group interaction of social insects, particularly by that of the ants. Genetic Algorithm (GA) has been applied on the model to search the model0s parameter space to obtain the particular set of parameter values for which the model consumes the least energy. Experimental results show that incorporating GA to tune the parameter values improve the performance of the swarm in terms of the energy consumption over earlier strategies.","PeriodicalId":360150,"journal":{"name":"2019 International Conference of Computer Science and Renewable Energies (ICCSRE)","volume":"13 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-07-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129683811","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Therefore, to maximize the energy produced by the PV system, it is necessary to track the maximum power point. Nevertheless to inject this maximum energy produced in the grid, it must be converted in an alternative by ensuring a reliable transfer with a unit power factor and a currents form purely sinusoidal. In this paper, a nonlinear method based on sliding mode (SMC) is applied to control and optimization of a grid connected photovoltaic energy conversion system. In this method, it is essential to define a sliding surface that presents the desired state, then we calculate the appropriate control law to achieve this desired state. To validate the theory results obtained by the proposed control strategy, the simulations has been affected on the Simulink/Matlab software for a 100Kw PV system. The simulation results are shown the effectiveness of the proposed technique to achieve the optimal operation of grid connected photovoltaic energy conversion system.","PeriodicalId":360150,"journal":{"name":"2019 International Conference of Computer Science and Renewable Energies (ICCSRE)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-07-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133888967","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Recently, the EV industry has been known as a huge development. This paper covers a broad array of subjects linked to EV technology, such as the main categories of these vehicles and their technical characteristics: fuel energy economy, environmental impact and market evolution. Particularly, three principal categories of EV, mainly hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs), plug-in electric vehicles (PHEVs) and battery electric vehicles (BEVs) are presented in detailed. Moreover, the present paper analyzes and compares these types of vehicles and both summarizes and discusses the recent advancements and challenges of EV technology. We can conclude that HEVs can play an important part in preparing for the transition to fully EVs. The progress at the battery level will accelerate this transition as long as issues of autonomy, durability, and cost are resolved.","PeriodicalId":360150,"journal":{"name":"2019 International Conference of Computer Science and Renewable Energies (ICCSRE)","volume":"70 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-07-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116171808","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This method calculates analytically the series resistance using three remarkable points of the I-V characteristics. The parallel resistance, the saturation current and the photo-current are calculated using a linear least squares method and solving a linear system of three equations. The ideality factor is extracted by an iterative procedure that optimizes the NRMSE value. It the also represents 25% of carbon dioxide emissions at the national state, it consumes a lot of energy for the production of domestic hot water (DHW) and the heat and cold production. For this situation the house is estimated to be a major source of potential energy conservation, which is why there are so many research projects on this topic. So to reduce this consumption we thought to integrate renewable sources of energy (RES) using a control strategy of DC building. The aim of this article is to show a model of a house using RES energy, various electrical loads and the behaviour of a house's energy consumption in real time using the Simscape multi-physical description software. and we propose also a 230V DC microgrid, consisting of a 20 KWp photovoltaic panel, batteries and DC loads as also a hierarchical control strategy to maintain the capacity of the DC microgrid and the voltage of the common DC bus, is presented.","PeriodicalId":360150,"journal":{"name":"2019 International Conference of Computer Science and Renewable Energies (ICCSRE)","volume":"26 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-07-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131887157","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
