However, the agile method is regarded as a cultural shift where values need to be institutionalized within the development team prior methodology implementation. Many organization adopting agile method without considering its values which lead to undesired outcomes. Despite this, the current literature lacks attempts in assessing agile team culture readiness. Therefore, this research develops the Value, Goal, Question, and metric (VGQM) assessment method to assess agile team culture readiness within the development team. The VGQM includes metrics that selected purposely to evaluate agile team values. The VGQM is based on the Goal, Question, and Metric (GQM) paradigm concept. The VGQM was applied in a software company as a case study for evaluation purposes. The outcome of the case study shows the VGQM capability to assess agile values and identify gaps as areas for improvement.","PeriodicalId":359802,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Conference on Computer, Control, Electrical, and Electronics Engineering (ICCCEEE)","volume":"12 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-02-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115433978","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In Sudan, the Federal Ministry of Health reports the COVID-19 situation through nonelectronic paper-based reports published on their official website and Facebook page. These reports lack adequate data representation and visualization, which imposes a real challenge for monitoring COVID-19 status. In this paper, an interactive dashboard was designed to monitor the status of COVID-19 in Sudan. It helps the public and health authorities to view the real situation in a comprehensive, simple, and visually appealing manner. The dashboard was designed using Tableau (the public version). Furthermore, a visual analysis for the COVID-19 situation in Sudan from 18 March 2020 till 5 September 2020 was conducted to track the patterns and trends of the outbreak in Sudan. The resulted dashboard and the visual analysis provide important insights that can be used to make informed decisions concerning the spread of COVID-19 in Sudan.","PeriodicalId":359802,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Conference on Computer, Control, Electrical, and Electronics Engineering (ICCCEEE)","volume":"28 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-02-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131533924","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Conference scheduling involves organizing presentations into sessions which are assigned to time periods and rooms. This includes assuring a feasible utilization of time periods and rooms, and avoiding individual schedule conflicts. The problem increases in complexity by considering the preferences of presenters. Compared to other similar scheduling problems, the conference scheduling problem is relatively unexplored. This paper describes a method to generate feasible initial schedules, and then employ selection hyper-heuristics to find optimal solutions for the problem. Experiments using the GR-AM, SR-IE, SRSA, TS-IE, SR-AM, SR-OI hyper-heuristic algorithms were carried out on two problem instances: LargeConference, and SmallConference. Empirical results show that the GR-AM algorithm is the most suitable for small conferences, and still works well on larger scale conferences, but further experimentation indicates that the TS-IE algorithm produces better results on a larger conferences.","PeriodicalId":359802,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Conference on Computer, Control, Electrical, and Electronics Engineering (ICCCEEE)","volume":"173 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-02-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126783046","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This type of marriage has significant effects on the population in terms of genetic diseases. So many researchers explored the linkage of consanguineous marriages with the occurrence of genetic and rare genetic diseases.This paper uses Sudanese data which was provided by the Institute of Endemic Diseases, University Of Khartoum. Python was found to be the most suitable programming language to conduct the simulation. Simulating inbreeding using both a random parent chooser and a customized parent chooser scheme has been applied using the python package named Simupop. The authors then produced a plot to foresee the inbreeding’s impact on the effective population size. The heterozygosity frequency showed an obvious decrease. This decrease, of course, shows itself in the form of congenital anomalies, such as genetic diseases, birth defects, and sometimes neonatal and fetus deaths. Thus, it was evident the effects of inbreeding on the effective population size.","PeriodicalId":359802,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Conference on Computer, Control, Electrical, and Electronics Engineering (ICCCEEE)","volume":"214 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-02-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114211563","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
