To provide the basis for improving the error management climate of hospitals, and the improvement path for improving the psychological resilience of medical staffs and reducing the pressure level. Methods: In May 2020, 587 medical staffs in the third-level grade-A hospitals were surveyed using the error management climate scale compiled by Cigularov, and the psychological resilience scale summary table prepared by Wang et al., and the Chinese version of pressure perception scale revised by Yang Tingzhong. Results: There is a negative correlation between the error management climate and the stress perception, and there is a relationship between the two. Conclusion: Different types of medical staffs have different levels of error management climate, psychological resilience and stress perception, among which the position, gender, education background, and length of work may be its influencing factors; the better the error management climate in the third-level grade-A hospitals, the higher the level of psychological resilience of medical staffs, and the lower their stress perception.","PeriodicalId":359610,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 2nd Africa-Asia Dialogue Network (AADN) International Conference on Advances in Business Management and Electronic Commerce Research","volume":"93 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-11-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126210915","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The paper measures management efficiency of firms form IT industry with stochastic frontier method and investigates the relationship between firm management effectiveness and firm performance. The empirical result indicates that management efficiency positively relates with firm performance. This positive effect is stronger form IT firms. A 1% increase in management efficiency could promote firm TFP by 2.374% and firm ROA by 0.979% for IT firms. Moreover, Firm management efficiency is more important for TFP.","PeriodicalId":359610,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 2nd Africa-Asia Dialogue Network (AADN) International Conference on Advances in Business Management and Electronic Commerce Research","volume":"48 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-11-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115614745","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Despite the large scale of incentive given by the sub-Saharan African countries in the last decades, economic growth has been sluggish in almost all the countries in the region. The authors examined the effect of tax incentives represented by corporate income tax, investment allowance and import duty rebate on economic growth in Nigeria. The study adopted Ex Post Facto Research Design and time-series data was used. Relevant secondary data for this study were collected from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Statistical Bulletin and the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) and the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) between 1987 and 2018. The study shows that tax incentive is negatively and significantly related to gross domestic product which is an indication that incentive is good for economic growth in Nigeria. The result also indicates that a higher company income tax rate is associated with lower private investment and slower economic growth. The implication of this finding is that since tax incentives on gross domestic product, policy reform in other factors that affect economic growth is needed also. Tax incentive policy should be designed bearing in mind the economy's macroeconomic objectives.","PeriodicalId":359610,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 2nd Africa-Asia Dialogue Network (AADN) International Conference on Advances in Business Management and Electronic Commerce Research","volume":"28 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-11-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117052527","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Study methodology tests the hypotheses of nonlinear relationships among the variables used in the proposed model. The proposed model has been tested by using multiple regression analyses depended on data have collected from Iraqi factories of cement manufacturing in ten years. The results showed that cost associated with demand changes on nonlinear relationships asymmetrically which degree of cost asymmetry drives via demand, costs arise relative to demand is higher than costs fall. The value of research is the first to present and examine the economic model of asymmetric cost behavior by demand changes in Iraq. A little literature has tested the effects of demand fluctuation on cost behavior, which is changed the organizational understanding from considerations of accounting to economics within a competitive environment.","PeriodicalId":359610,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 2nd Africa-Asia Dialogue Network (AADN) International Conference on Advances in Business Management and Electronic Commerce Research","volume":"18 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-11-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122771052","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This research is purposed to develop a cyber-security system that uses the Bayesian Network structure and Machine Learning. The research determined the cyber-security framework appropriate for a developing nation; evaluated network detection and prevention systems that use Artificial Intelligence paradigms such as finite automata, neural networks, genetic algorithms, fuzzy logic, support vector machines, or diverse data-mining-based approaches; analyzed Bayesian Networks that can be represented as graphical models and are directional to represent cause-effect relationships; and developed a Bayesian Network model that can handle complexity in cybersecurity. The Pragmatism paradigm used in this research, as a philosophy is intricately related to the mixed-method approach, which is largely quantitative with the research design being a survey and an experiment, but supported by qualitative approaches where Focus Group discussions were held. The Artificial Intelligence paradigms evaluated include machine learning methods, autonomous robotic vehicles, artificial neural networks, and fuzzy logic. Alternative improved solutions discussed include the use of machine learning algorithms specifically Artificial Neural Networks (ANN), Decision Tree C4.5, Random Forests, and Support Vector Machines (SVM).","PeriodicalId":359610,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 2nd Africa-Asia Dialogue Network (AADN) International Conference on Advances in Business Management and Electronic Commerce Research","volume":"120 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-11-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125623003","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Based on Myint-Smith theory, this paper analyses the impact of OFDI and international trade on domestic employment. On the one hand, it can directly promote domestic employment growth by expanding output scale; on the other hand, it can promote domestic consumption growth and upgrading by improving production efficiency and promoting industrial upgrading, and indirectly promote employment growth. Empirical test chooses China's provincial panel data test theory from 2008 to 2017. Static analysis shows that the repeated test results of core variables such as inter-provincial OFDI flow, OFDI stock, import, export, import and export show a significant positive effect on inter-provincial employment growth. Dynamic analysis shows that the coefficients of core variables are positive promotion effects. The robustness test is based on the differences between urban and rural areas, industries and regions. Towns have significant promotion effect while villages have significant substitution effect. Real estate, construction and information technology industries have the strongest promotion effect, and show a significant promotion effect of the weakening trend of East, West and China. The positive effect of China's OFDI and international trade on employment not only criticizes the fallacy that \"OFDI and import cannot promote employment\", but also perfects VFS theory.","PeriodicalId":359610,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 2nd Africa-Asia Dialogue Network (AADN) International Conference on Advances in Business Management and Electronic Commerce Research","volume":"29 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-11-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121557187","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The results show that cash holding has a positive competitive effect, and capital investment plays an intermediary role in the competitive effect. The positive competition effect of cash holding is stronger when the uncertainty of economic policy is low than when the uncertainty of economic policy is high, and the uncertainty of economic policy strengthened the intermediary role of capital investment in the positive competition effect of cash holding. The conclusion of this paper provides a new way to understand the increasing cash holdings of enterprises, and has guiding significance for enterprises to make cash holdings strategy under the uncertainty of different economic policies.","PeriodicalId":359610,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 2nd Africa-Asia Dialogue Network (AADN) International Conference on Advances in Business Management and Electronic Commerce Research","volume":"76 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-11-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116955077","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
