In addition, oyster mushroom has a much cheaper price than chicken and beef. In the cultivation of oyster mushrooms, temperature and humidity are important factors in the success of cultivation, the optimum temperature for the growth of oyster mushrooms is 16-25°C and the ideal humidity required is 80%-90%. To maintain the temperature and humidity is to do watering or misting. Currently, there are still many farmers who use conventional watering systems that are not practical. Therefore, during the dry season, the productivity of oyster mushrooms tends to decrease due to hot weather conditions and intense watering needs to be done. Based on this, it is necessary to develop an automatic and efficient mushroom watering tool. The research method used is Research and Development (RD). The result achieved is the design of an automatic mushroom sprinkler based on temperature and humidity control. This automatic mushroom sprinkler has a blower component, piezoelectric, ATMega 16 microcontroller, DHT11 temperature sensor, and internet of things (IoT) features. The conclusion of this research is the creation of an automatic mushroom sprinkler that is efficient and easy to use. Material aluminium dari velg bekas diplih sebagai bahan utama dalam penelitian ini. Parameter yang digunakan dalam pengecoran adalah temperatur tuang dengan variasi 660, 710, dan 760oC. Pengamatan struktur mikro dan pengukuran SDAS menggunakan mikroskop optic dan image analysis software. Pengujian kekerasan dilakukan untuk mengetahui sifat mekanis material. Sebaran panas pada permukaan pahat dapat dianalisa dengan penentuan persamaan perpindahan panas di awal. Dalam penelitian ini, persamaan perpindahan panas 2 dimensi diselesaikan dengan metode beda hingga. Metode komputasi digunakan untuk menyelesaikan model perpindahan panas secara dua dimensi, sebab sangat sulit untuk diselesaikan dengan analisis secara matematis. Metode Alternating Direct Implicit digunakan untuk mendiskritisasi persamaan perpindahan panas 2 dimensi. Temperatur hasil komputasi dapat diilustrasikan dengan tampilan Matlab. Luaran penelitian ini adalah data sebaran temperatur hasil eksperimen dan komputasi. Temperatur maksimal hasil komputasi sebesar 309,99 Kelvin di titik 1, dan mulai stabil pada detik ke-110. Temperatur terendah hasil komputasi berada pada titik 3 dan 4 sebesar 309,60 Kelvin, dan mulai stabil pada detik ke-110. Temperatur maksimal hasil pengujian sebesar 388,00 Kelvin di titik 1 pada detik ke-120, saat akhir pengujian. Temperatur terendah hasil komputasi berada pada titik 3 sebesar 310,44 Kelvin pada detik ke-120, saat akhir pengujian. Produk berbahan plastik memiliki dampak yang buruk terhadap lingkungan dalam pemakaian. Penggunaan plastik yang meningkat dapat menimbulkan dampak negatif, seperti pencemaran lingkungan dan sampah plastik, yang membutuhkan waktu yang panjang untuk bisa hancur dan terurai. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan penelitian tentang penggunaan bahan daur ulang dalam pembuatan produk plastik polypropylene dengan suhu injeksi yang bervariasi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat bagaimana perbedaan temperatur injeksi memengaruhi sifat mekanik dan fraktografi bahan polypropylene daur ulang.Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan membuat spesimen multipurpose yang sama dengan ISO 294-1:2012 dengan material polypropylene daur ulang 2 kali dan proses fabrikasi mesin injection molding dengan kapasitas pencekaman 70 ton dengan material polypropylene daur ulang 2 kali. Pengujian yang dilakukan menggunakan uji tarik dengan ISO 527–1 dan uji impak dengan metode Charpy ISO 179. Uji impak patahan dianalisis dengan mikroskop optik digital untuk mengetahui fraktografi patahan spesimen.Hasil dari penelitian ini mendapatkan nilai kuat tarik maksimal pada temperatur injeksi 190℃ sebesar 33,2 MPa, nilai kuat tarik terakhir pada temperatur injeksi 220℃ sebesar 32,7 MPa dan nilai kuat tarik terakhir pada temperatur injeksi 250℃ sebesar 33,1 MPa. Nilai maksimal uji impak pada temperatur injeksi 190°C sebesar 3,04 KJ/m2, nilai kuat impak pada temperatur injeksi 220°C sebesar 2,72 KJ/m2 dan nilai kuat impak pada temperatur injeksi 250°C sebesar 1,77 KJ/m2. Hasil pengamatan mikroskop optik digital menunjukkan bahwa fraktografi pada spesimen PP daur ulang variasi temperatur injeksi 190°C, 220°C, dan 250°C tidak terlalu berbeda ada void (berongga) di setiap spesimen hasil patahan uji impak. Void (berongga) pada spesimen dapat menurunkan nilai mekanisnya didukung dari hasil uji mekanis. Pengelasan SMAW menggunakan elektrode E7016 DC+ polaritas terbalik dan elektrode AWS A5.1 tipe RD 260 diameter 3.2 mm dengan variasi arus pengelasan: 60A, 120A, dan 180A, serta variasi tegangan pengelasan: 20,30 dan 40 dengan kecepatan 50 [mm/min]. Jenis kampuh sambungan yang digunakan yaitu single “V” Groove sudut 60º. Pengujian tarik dilakukan berdasarkan standar ASTM E 8M-04, standar pengujian impak berdasarkan ASTM E23, standar pengujian struktur mikro berdasarkan ASTM E407, dan untuk standar pengujian kekerasan mikro vikers berdasarkan ASTM E92. Setelah melakukan pengujian dan pembahasan diketahui bahwa menggunakan variabel arus dan tegangan yang besar sangat memengaruhi dari hasil nilai kekuatan Tarik dan pengujian impak. Hal tersebut disebabkan oleh faktor adanya perbedaan dalam metode pengelasan dan panas yang diterima (heat input), sehingga memiliki struktur mikro yang berbeda pula. In order to be successful, companies need to achieve their objectives and goals to make their vision a reality while adhering to their mission. Company claims report in the few years still hasn’t solved yet. Such complaints are significant because customersatisfaction can only be improved if the root causes of the problem is clearly identified. In the plastic industry that produces parts for the automotive industry, a systematic method named 8D is used to analyze product conformity to specifications. The 8D method consists of nine disciplines problem-solving. The original purpose of 8D method was to eliminate the defect causing the problem, thus restoring customer satisfaction and level up the quality level of the company. This research established the suitability of the 8D for complaint settlement. 8D involves teamwork to solve the problem and using a 9-step structural approach. This case study resulted that the 8D is effective. Analisis FEA menunjukkan nilai von Misses stress sebesar 18 MPa bernilai lebih kecil dibanding yield strength material penyusun rangka sebesar 207 MPa, displacement yang terjadi sebesar 0,99 mm dengan nilai safety factor 15. The method commonly used in detecting faults in a bearing is envelope analysis. However, this method requires setting the central frequency and the correct bandwidth - which corresponds to the resonance frequency of the bearing - for signal demodulation to be effective. This study proposes a kurtogram to determine the correct central frequency and bandwidth to obtain the frequency band with the highest impulse content or the highest kurtosis value. Analysis envelope is applied to the filtered vibration signal using the central frequency and bandwidth parameters obtained from the kurtogram. The results showed that the envelope-kurtogram method is effective for faulty bearing detection as shown in the envelope spectrum where the peaks coincide with the bearing defect characteristic frequency (BPFO) with high accuracy. Penelitian ini bertujuan melakukan otomatisasi proses pencucian produk high speed stamping di PT. ATMI IGI melalui rancang bangun mesin cuci berteknologi aqueous cleaning spray . Mesin memiliki dari 5 tahap proses yaitu Feeder , Pre-Wash , Wash , Rinse dan Spinning . Produk stamping dicuci secara otomatis melalui mekanisme konveyor, semprotan larutan deterjen, dan pengayak. Berdasar hasil uji coba, diketahui mesin memerlukan waktu rata-rata sebesar 34,5 detik untuk mencuci satu keranjang produk stamping . Mesin mampu mencuci 25 kali lebih cepat dibandingkan dengan proses pencucian secara manual. Penggunaan mesin berpotensi meningkatkan produktivitas dan efisiensi tenaga kerja. Mesin pada penelitian ini masih perlu dikembangkan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi proses pencucian dan masa pakai penggunaan cairan pembersih. Washing process in order to remove dirt and lubricants from the products before further processing is required in high speed stamping. This research aims to automate the high speed stamping washing process in PT. ATMI IGI by designing aqueous cleaning spray machine. The machine consists of five stages namely Feeder, Pre-Wash, Wash, Rinse and Spinning. The machine washes the stamping products automatically by mechanism of spraying cleaning solution, conveying, and sifting. Based on the trial results, the machine takes an average of 34.5 seconds to wash a basket of stamping products. The machine is able to wash 25 times faster than the manual wash. The machine potentially increase the productivity and labor efficiency.
