Therefore service sector give the highest contribution for the economic growth in Srilanka. Through this research the service sector is decomposed. This empirical study was to measuring the contribution for the economic growth in Sri Lanka by service sector. Time series data is used to identify the decomposition of economic growth in Sri Lanka by Service. Annually data is collected from 2006 to 2014. This study mainly focused on growth decomposition methodology developed by Ivanov and Webster and this methodology used to decompose economic growth in Sri Lanka by service sector. This model presents an approach that is general and it can be applied to other countries. The methodology identifies the direct impacts of specific service sector components on the per capita growth of real gross domestic product. The study found that each service sector components in this analysis has a very different contribution to the growth rate in the economy. The research findings would provide guidance to the policy makers to develop policies, procedures, programs and standards.","PeriodicalId":358741,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Management Excellence","volume":"20 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-04-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125010352","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Not only that, but there is another school of thought, which believes that the population growth is a neutral factor in economic growth. Given this diverse of opinions, through this study it is expected to established a firm relationship between the population growth and the economic growth of Sri Lanka. This study developed an econometric model using time series data from 1980 to 2015 and tested the relationship not only the GDP of Sri Lanka, but other significant variables of an economy such as Domestic Savings, Private consumption and Total Investment as well.  The results of this study indicate absence of a long term relationship between the population growth and the GDP of Sri Lanka and there will be no any relationship between the other selected variables and the population growth of Sri Lanka. The Granger Causality Analysis found out a unidirectional relationship between the GDP and the population growth, running from population growth to GDP. The study concludes that in Sri Lankan context, the population growth will not have any significant impact on the economic growth.","PeriodicalId":358741,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Management Excellence","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-03-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132103449","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Design/Methodology: The study adopted a mixed method approach to establish whether or not customer care program has had any impact on the operations of service organizations; where the moment of truth encounter is highly evident. An interview guide and a questionnaire were used to interview the bank manager and the customer relationship officer of Bongo Rural Bank Ltd and administered the questions on two hundred and fifty (250) customers including eight (8) employees of the bank. The books of the bank were also examined to assess the number of people who had benefited from the bank’s loan scheme. Findings: The study found that the bank was doing an excellent work since almost all the customers were satisfied with the services of the bank; and the attitudes of its employees. The satisfied customers recommended the bank to others and hence increased the customer base and profitability. Research Limitation: The research was limited to Bongo Rural Bank Ltd. Though the study was limited to the bank, the findings are applicable to all service financial institutions and non financial institutions in Ghana since the needs of the bank’s customers and the customers of other banks are homogeneous. Practical Implications: The employees and other important stakeholders of banks think that customer care is the sole responsibility of the marketing department rather than all members of the entire organization. The present study encourages all organizational members to systematically think of the customer in their respective area of service since customers can call on anyone of the firm at anytime. Originality/Value: The current empirical study makes an original contribution to the extant literature by adding knowledge of customer care in the context of service organizations, where the moment of truth is highly evident.","PeriodicalId":358741,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Management Excellence","volume":"31 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-03-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121416811","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

One of the two major theories of higher education said a blend of theory and practice was the only way to get quality graduates in HEI. The research will explore gaps in knowledge regarding these theories as a contribution to knowledge. Logistics will be looked at in this research as a support function for marketing strategy. Market orientation is a company philosophy focused on discovering and meeting the needs and desires of company or organizational customers through its products mix, and in this instance HEI will be expected to meet foremost the needs of industry and government as employers of graduated students, then the needs of students and society. Axtell quoting Lombardi argued that the quality of university research drove the quality, breadth, and depth of the undergraduate curriculum and that teaching delivered the state of current knowledge while research pursued knowledge at the boundaries of our current understanding, (Axtell, 2016:3510). Field research would shed light on research-teaching nexus in Oman compared to the GCC and the world at large. This will be an intensive in-depth single case study, with Oman being the case. This research paper focused the management of constraints in higher education teaching and learning in Oman and understanding market orientation and quality service delivery.  This paper is constructed from the researcher’s PhD thesis as a way of disseminating critical new knowledge on higher education in Oman and globally, for the betterment and benefit of academia and society.","PeriodicalId":358741,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Management Excellence","volume":"19 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-03-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127397398","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

They are sharp, intelligent, empathetic, flexible and with energy to work hard for the both fronts i. e. office as well the home. They are with dual responsibility to manage multiple tasks at home and at the work. The increasing expectations at both ends make the situation difficult for women , as a result they face difficulty in maintaining a required balance between work and life. This lack of balance results in further problems for working women. Because of work overload, career aspirations, competition, peer pressure at workplace and child care, elder care, relationship maintenance, other household responsibilities at home, it becomes very difficult for females to contribute to the maximum at both ends. And because of this imbalance, females remain with some guilt and stress, as a result came across with many psychosocial tribulations, that may affect their performance as well as health also. This paper examined the concept of work life balance and how women juggle for multiple tasks and as a result face work life imbalance. And paper also revealed that working women with dual roles suffer from psychosocial problems and different strategies have also been discussed which can be of help to working women in maintaining a balance between work and life.","PeriodicalId":358741,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Management Excellence","volume":"10 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-03-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128729983","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study is based on a literature review, underlying theory that is stewardship theory and findings of exploratory interviews by the present researcher; and contributes to the literature by developing a specific and structured research model. Firstly, it explains the development of hypotheses based on the literature and findings of exploratory interviews. It presents a detailed review of the variables influencing the internal audit consulting in which it gives an impact on the firm’s growth as well as the performance. Finally, the theoretical linkages between each relationship in the framework of this study are presented in this study.","PeriodicalId":358741,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Management Excellence","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-02-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124504934","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Specifically, we tested a moderated mediation model with self-leadership as the mediator between personality traits and job performance and job satisfaction and with gender as the moderator in influencing the mediations. Data were collected from a variety of organizations from 341 supervisor-subordinate dyads located in China and Hong Kong. Our analyses revealed that: (1) conscientiousness and internal locus of control were positively related to self-leadership in Chinese contexts; (2) self-leadership mediated the relationships of conscientiousness and internal locus of control with both job performance and job satisfaction; and (3) the mediating effects of self-leadership were not moderated by gender.","PeriodicalId":358741,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Management Excellence","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-02-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117227571","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
