This article presents a study aiming to build a model and community around Karamanlides by using digital library technologies. These research works are performed on the basis of formal methods, such as petri-net, pi-calculus, automata theory, and so on. Pi-calculus is a natural vehicle to model the mobility aspect in dynamic web services composition (DWSC). However, it has recently been shown that pi-calculus needs to be extended suitably to specify and verify DWSC. However, it has certain functionality that works against the rigorous, semantically meaningful recording of data. Consequently, where it is used as an archival platform, semantic fidelity to original artifacts is almost certain to be compromised. This article discusses a tool, Músgraí WYSIWYM WP, which I created to address this problem; specifically in the context of older written and printed Irish and Scottish Gaelic texts, whose orthographies include characters no longer in common use. The GESIS Data Archive for the Social Sciences (DAS) currently determines the significant properties of the data it preserves. This hybrid collection presents several challenges in relation to its management and long-term preservation. Appropriate storage conditions are vital for analogue records, as is the exercise over them of physical and intellectual control. However, born-digital archival records require the preservation of not only their data, but also evidence of their authenticity. This collection contains a small amount of stories that make derogatory reference to named individuals or families. Digitization and publication in an online database makes the sharing of this material online remarkably easy. To this end, a set of guidelines regarding the identification of sensitive material has been developed and pages marked as containing such material are automatically withheld. These problems are traced through three cases where researchers wanted their data curated by SND. Two of the materials were subsequently published in different ways by SND, while the third was rejected. The last section discusses some ways to handle these problems.
