Meanwhile, each land has different characteristics to support these human activities. In land suitability studies, the slope is an important factor and is always involved. This study aims to determine the influence of slope on the development of built-up land in Serang Regency, as one of the areas with a high population growth rate and a variety of regional morphologies. Land cover/land use change analysis was used to determine the spatial distribution of additional built-up land in the period 2019-2023 and 2023-2031. 87% of the additional built-up land in 2019-2023 is located in areas with slopes of 2-15%. Then based on the Serang Regency Regional Spatial Plan 2011-2031, as much as 84% of the additional built-up land is in areas with slopes of 2-15%. This shows that the slope aspect has had a significant influence on the development of Serang Regency, where more than 80% of the additional built-up land has been located in zones that are safe from land slide.","PeriodicalId":355598,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Regional and Rural Development Planning","volume":"86 5","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141657915","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This is regulated in the Ministerial Regulation (Permen) of Public Works (PU) Number 05/PRT/M/2008. Referring to this policy, the number of city parks in Bogor City has met the minimum requirements. However, more than quantity is needed if it is balanced with good quality city parks. This research aims to identify the quality of city park functions in Bogor City based on public perceptions. This research is descriptive with an inductive analysis method. Data was collected from part of the population using a random sampling method. Based on the analysis of the four functions of parks in Bogor City, they are running relatively well. Ecologically, city parks in Bogor, on average, have a good function as noise reducers, oxygen producers, windbreaks, and rain catchment areas. Regarding social and cultural functions, city parks in Bogor City have various assessments. People give a good assessment of the function of city parks as a means of social interaction, recreation, and play. Economically, city parks in the city of Bogor are considered by the community to be a sufficient space for economic interaction. However, no source of products produced from these city parks can have economic value. Aesthetically, city parks in Bogor City have a good average score for their function as supporting the city's beauty, increasing comfort, and forming factors of architectural beauty. It is hoped that the findings from this research can become a basis for improving the arrangement and management of city parks in Bogor City.","PeriodicalId":355598,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Regional and Rural Development Planning","volume":"131 24","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141656530","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This inquiry's significance arises within the context of social interactions, where there are discernible patterns of social dominance. Is it possible for a social group to survive without the active participation and expression of its members? This study aims to investigate how a village can persist within a social, cultural, and political framework that actively conceals its presence. The aforementioned pressure is commonly acknowledged as an inherently social phenomenon, indicating the presence of a mechanism of social hegemony. The hegemonic process is enacted through the implementation of village norms, particularly about customary villages (desa adat). The majority of villages in Bali adhere to a dual system of governance, consisting of office villages (desa dinas) and customary villages desa adat. Nevertheless, it is worth noting that the focus of this research lies solely on two specific villages, both of which adhere to a single type of governance known as the official village. The two villages under consideration are Blimbingsari in the Jembrana district and Pegayaman in Bali's Buleleng district. Both communities remain independent settlements in Bali to this day. Nevertheless, the dynamics and obstacles that exist are not straightforward. This research tries to listen to the voices of the subaltern and classifies them into four main issues, namely: 1) cultural politics; 2) political economy; 3) Ideology; 4) Conscientization. Through these four issues, an understanding of how these two villages continue to exist amid existing social harmonization is obtained.","PeriodicalId":355598,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Regional and Rural Development Planning","volume":"7 6","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141656212","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Indonesia presently ranks 82nd out of 163 nations in terms of SDG accomplishment, indicating that there is still plenty of potential for improvement. One of the goals that hasn't been accomplished is ‘no poverty’. Regarding the poverty cases, among all province in Indonesia, East Kalimantan is important to be analyzed, because Penajam Paser Utara and Kutai Kartanegara in East Kalimantan are scheduled to become Indonesia's next capital, Nusantara. The goal of this research is to investigate the variables that influence poverty in East Kalimantan and determine the effectiveness of poverty alleviation in the regencies/cities in East Kalimantan. This research used indicator data of poverty from 2019-2021 retrieved from Statistics Indonesia. This research use spatial panel data analysis regression method or Geographically Weighted Panel Regression (GWPR) and Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA). In GWPR model, this research compared adaptive gaussian, adaptive bisquare, adaptive exponential, fixed gaussian, fixed bisquare, and fixed exponential kernel. The findings of this investigation revealed that fixed exponential is the kernel that has lowest AIC and the highest adj-𝑅2. The variables that determine poverty of regencies/cities in East Kalimantan are expenditure per capita, life expectancy, and number of village with higher education facilities. Furthermore, according to DEA, only three cities were effective in addressing poverty: Mahakam Ulu, Paser, and Penajam Paser Utara.","PeriodicalId":355598,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Regional and Rural Development Planning","volume":" 55","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-05-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141128279","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We examined the effects and efficacy of Indonesia's transport loan projects, which were supported by the World Bank and the Asian Development Bank (ADB), to achieve this, 67 projects of $8.85 billion in value were undertaken between 1972 and 2020. This study is significant because it is the first in the history of development assistance—after 100 years—that is based entirely on banking theories and practices, employing attribution techniques and presuming that all loans will be disbursed into Indonesia's economy. Nevertheless, the effectiveness narratives are untrue because—after being converted into Rupiah—less than 10% of the loan fund made it to Indonesia's economy. According to our analysis, the loans from both banks decreased growth by 200% and increased poverty by 220%, even if they were successful in providing jobs. The disbursement delays of five to seven years result in capital outflows of more than $26 for every $1 loan. Fixing this necessitates a 100% payout in Rupiah into Indonesia's national banking systems the same year that the loan agreements are executed.","PeriodicalId":355598,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Regional and Rural Development Planning","volume":" 54","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-05-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141128327","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
