The central points of analysis are life, study and work, since the French professional insertion considers the individual, institutional and socio-historical aspects of a social group, being extended to different social contexts. No entanto, na pratica, muitos individuos carecem desses atributos e, dadas suas limitacoes e vicios, alguns sequer deveriam estar em posicoes de lideranca. A pesquisa sobre a origem, ascensao e impactos das liderancas toxicas nas empresas e ainda incipiente, particularmente no Brasil. Contribuindo para a compreensao desse fenomeno, esta pesquisa investigou a ma lideranca no ambiente corporativo brasileiro, a partir das experiencias vivenciadas por 35 profissionais de diferentes setores e areas de atuacao. Com base nesses relatos e na aplicacao da analise de conteudo, foram derivados seis tipos de maus lideres: incompetente, omisso, inconsistente, rigido, abusivo e desleal. O estudo analisou as principais consequencias da ma lideranca para os liderados, as equipes e as organizacoes, bem como as estrategias de reacao mais frequentemente adotadas. This paper aims to describe their experience facing the Portuguese language barrier in the Brazilian labor market. Language here is understood as spoken, written and body language. The South-to-South approach here proposed differs from most of the literature, based mainly on studies South-to-North oriented. During six field visits the research group observed the arrival in Brazil, the hiring process and the experience of 34 immigrants from Haiti, Bolivia, Venezuela, Angola, Nigeria, Togo, Iraq and Yemen working within ten Brazilian firms that hired them. Besides the observation technique, these immigrants, social workers, employers and Brazilian co-workers were interviewed. The employers emphasized the immigrants` enthusiasm, willingness to learn and dedication to work. The immigrants said they were well received and emphasized the use of Google Translator, mimicry and drawings to communicate. The employers said they used these same creative ways to teach the work activities to the immigrants as well as placing the immigrant next to another Brazilian worker who performed the same set of tasks so that the immigrant would learn by looking. No caso dos jovens trabalhadores, publico marcado por idiossincrasias e dificuldades no mundo laboral, as preferencias e estrategias para lidar com o tempo em suas atividades podem impactar o seu desempenho e o desempenho da organizacao onde se inserem. Dado isto, o objetivo deste trabalho consiste em analisar e comparar como se configuram as percepcoes temporais de jovens trabalhadores assistidos pelo ESPRO das cidades de Sao Paulo (SP) e Curitiba (PR). Realizou-se um estudo de caso com pesquisa de campo, quantitativa e descritiva. A coleta de dados foi feita por meio de questionarios e eles foram tratados a partir de analise estatistica descritiva uni e bivariada. Percebeu-se certa consonância entre os achados de Sao Paulo (SP) e de Curitiba (PR) no que diz respeito a velocidade, pontualidade e arrastamento. Cordeiro","doi":"10.5752/P.1984-6606.2020V20N55P24-37","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.5752/P.1984-6606.2020V20N55P24-37","url":null,"abstract":"O estudo realizado tem como objetivo identificar como as Fintechs se caracterizam como oportunidades e ameacas para as grandes instituicoes financeiras no Brasil. A fim de compreender e analisar os aspectos relacionados as Fintechs, a pesquisa aborda topicos alinhados ao tema, como o contexto atual da economia, o Sistema Financeiro Nacional e o cenario de startups no Brasil. Este estudo possui carater descritivo e qualitativo, no qual os dados foram coletados a partir da realizacao de entrevistas com os responsaveis por instituicoes financeiras. A pesquisa permitiu identificar que ha a aceitacao por parte das grandes instituicoes para aplicacao desse modelo de Fintechs. Observou-se tambem que ha uma necessidade de regulamentacao do setor para que o mesmo possa crescer com mais liberdade e assim podendo acrescentar ao pais essa riqueza tecnologica, porem, analisa a necessidade de ser menos burocratico como as instituicoes financeiras atuantes no mercado. O estudo apresentou como limitacoes a apresentacao de poucos casos, em que nao foi possivel entrevistar mais gerentes em outras empresas que estao envolvidas de alguma forma com as inovacoes da organizacao. A partir desta situacao, sugere-se que outros estudos sejam realizados para cobrir outros pontos interessantes que digam respeito ao modelo de negocio Fintechs. O estudo permitiu compreender como as grandes empresas ja estabelecidas no mercado financeiro identificam as Fintechs e seus modelos de negocios. A identificacao de oportunidades e de ameacas e como se da esse entendimento permitindo que as Fintechs se preparem para um mercado competitivo e que grandes empresas entendam como este modelo pode ser caracterizado como aliado. Em relacao a originalidade, varios estudos foram desenvolvidos no âmbito do mercado financeiro. Integrated models were shown through empirical data, after reviewing ECM and citizen perceived values. The findings of this study indicated that ECM integrated with citizen perceived value tends to provide a concerted solution to clarify the factors and its influence on citizens' intention to use e-government services. The research model, defines several constructs (perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, compatibility, interpersonal influence, external influence, self-efficacy, facilitating conditions, attitude, subjective norms, perceived behavioural control, demographic factors) that can influence intention to use e-government services. Relationships between constructs proved to be significant after analysis of the survey results, but the strength of influence toward intention to usage varies among constructs. Attitude towards usage is strongly and significantly influenced by the perceived usefulness and less by perceived ease of use of the e-government applications as well as by compatibility with the way of work. Subjective norms are significantly affected by interpersonal influence, and by external influence, as well. Studies undertaken to address this problem using data mining techniques are not fully efficient when the number of features is more than that of samples. This paper presents a novel hybrid machine learning model based on support vector regression, which exhibits magnificent generalisation capability on small samples with proper selection of hyper-parameters using teaching-learning-based optimisation along with elastic net for feature selection. For predicting achievement, a dataset pertaining to housing scheme of Government of India is used where number of samples available is small. These systems make use of internet of medical things (IoMT) devices and cloud platform to offer services to millions of people. In this paper, we develop an IoT with cloud-based brain tumour detection model using convolution neural network (CNN). Here, the input MRI brain images are captured by the use of medical equipments as well as IoT devices is used to transmit data to the cloud. In the cloud, the D-CNN model can be executed to identify the presence of disease and classify the brain tumour as malignant or benign. The presented D-CNN model is employed to a set of benchmark BRATS 2015 challenge dataset.
