There is a pattern of community treatment that applies from generation to generation and is suggestive. The treatment procedure through Suwuk consists of two stages, namely: first, the stage of diagnosis and selection of the right treatment method; and second, the application of treatment. Diagnosis is basically done through numerology or petungan , intuitive knowledge. The emergence of Coronavirus Desease 2019 (Covid-19) caused a stir in people's lives in most parts of the world. Covid-19 is a virus that spreads quickly and easily. Crowds are one of the media for the spread of this virus, so crowds must be eliminated in order to stop its spread. Stopping the crowd has the potential to destroy the social fabric in society. Thus, good social interaction is susceptible to deterioration due to the presence of this virus. That is what attracts the author in conducting research with the title \"Maintaining Social Interaction in the Covid-19 Pandemic Era\". There are two problems in this research. First, to what extent are the interests of maintaining social interaction in social life.Second, how to maintain social interactions in the midst of the Covid19 pandemic era. This research is a library research using a qualitative approach in the form of a sociological study. From the research results, two conclusions can be drawn. First, as a social being, everyone cannot get away from other people. Everyone needs and everyone is needed, depending on their abilities and needs. Therefore, maintaining social interaction is an obligation. Second, the community is required to be wise in responding to the existence of Covid-19 and social interaction which are two contradictory things. People are not justified in ignoring health protocols to avoid Covid-19. On the other hand, the public is also not allowed to interpret the implementation of the health protocol according to their own wishes. The public must consult a lot with experts in their respective fields.","PeriodicalId":355129,"journal":{"name":"Jurnal Javanologi","volume":"37 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124459960","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

There are several reasons why LAM stands alone, but the rapid development has fostered new communication and information on the information side. Technology can be used to unify the work of all these institutions. Synchronized LAM can bridge common goals, although there are differences in collections and policies. This article concludes (1) LAM can be used as a concept in the city of Malang because even though the institutions are different and have different policies, some institutions have the same function and purpose, (2) LAM has various types of collections and policies applied to users of the collection, (3) LAM is a container that provides, manages, and transfers information to users. With the LAM synchronization, it is hoped that the efforts to share cultural information in Malang City can be more efficient and comprehensive so that it can be a way to foster public interest in regional arts and culture.","PeriodicalId":355129,"journal":{"name":"Jurnal Javanologi","volume":"24 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114425141","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

He is claimed to be a criminal who is very humiliated. However, the Javanese people immortalized him as a public figure with character because of his concern and courage in defending the rights of the poor who were wronged by the colonial government. This research has a qualitative approach with a case study type. The main problem is, how is the multi-character of Sarip Tambak Oso's play dehumanized by the colonialists? For this reason, the data source is in the form of documents, both printed (published manuscripts) and electronic (ludruk performances with the play Sarip Tambak Oso). The research data is in the form of language (expressions, words, phrases, sentences) in the story. Next, verbal data is described qualitatively. The results showed that Sarip Tambak Oso had the characters of (1) caring, (2) devotion, (3) nationalism, and (4) religious, and (5) fair. In conclusion, the five characters are necessary when dealing with colonial era invaders. In fact, now, its fluctuating actualization needs to be considered as thoroughly as possible in the millennial era. This is necessary because the dehumanization of the multi-characteristics of public figures is not a natural characteristic of the Javanese nation in the world, except when fighting for national independence, as exemplified by Sarip Tambak Oso in East Java, Indonesia.Keywords: dehumanization, characters, Sarip Tambak Oso, imperialism, ludruk plays, Javanese oral literature","PeriodicalId":355129,"journal":{"name":"Jurnal Javanologi","volume":"43 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117133427","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The design chosen was ethnography. Ethnographic study is carried out in six stages, namely (1) formulating problems, (2) selecting cases, (3) obtaining entry points, (4) collecting data, (5) analyzing data, and (6) reporting findings. Subjects and locations for the study were determined with purposive sampling technique. The subjects are people who are considered to have quality and are able to provide information about Javanese traditional ceremonies. The study was conducted in seven sub-districts, namely Wuluhan, Umbulsari, Sukowono, Tanggul, Tempurejo, Ambulu, and Pakusari. Data were collected by means of observation, interviews, documentation, and audio-visual materials. The data were analyzed in six stages, namely: (1) organizing and preparing the data for analysis, (2) carefully reading all the data, (3) coding the data, (4) describing the data, (5) representing the data in a qualitative narrative, and (6) interpreting data. The validity of the data is obtained by extending working time and observing and triangulating methods, sources, and theories. As a result, the Javanese traditional ceremonies performed by the Pendalungan community are very diverse because the character of the Pendalungan community, one of which is open to change and easy to adapt, makes the implementation of Javanese traditional ceremonies adapted to environmental conditions, natural conditions, tools, materials, and performers of the ceremonies. As a result, it is difficult for humans to find true happiness in every episode of their life.
