Samudra as a symbol of leadership character with oceanic properties are able to receive water from any river, either dirty or clean water and then process all the water content of the river in the water depth. Baruna are the noble qualities of the universe according to Javanese philosophy, can be a guide for every leader. This research is a case study of character Sultan Hadiwijaya using the historical method, which includes: (1) Heuristic, namely, activity preparing stable-traces of the past (2) Criticism of history, namely investigating whether traces of it true, both form and content (3) Interpretation, namely establishing the interconnected meanings of the facts obtained. Sultan Hadiwijaya is a Pajang leader who have eyes and mind widely. Accepting opinions from around as a sign of a leader's respect for others. Leaders do not swallow the input that comes, but think carefully all the opinions that exist, leaders are able to gain new knowledge from the surrounding. Financial problems cover many areas in an individual's life, especially the social-social field. The monetary elements in public activities play an important role in determining the degree of social position of a person or group in their current state. In public activities there are several factors that affect a person's level of social position, namely certain financial elements, educational variables, innate elements, and individual work factors. However, in public activities in Indonesia, in general, the monetary element is the most interesting thing that can be used as a benchmark for one's economic welfare. An individual with a high level of abundance will have different ways of life and tendencies compared to an individual who is below the standard level. This social separation certainly has the impact of progress and setbacks in order to support the social life of the community.","PeriodicalId":355129,"journal":{"name":"Jurnal Javanologi","volume":"33 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125615651","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The study explains Bhedaya's phenomenon which indicates that the practice could be designed as a social and virtual space for educational purposes. Beskap is the clothes worn by men and kebaya is the traditional clothes worn by women. The various materials, patterns, and motifs used to make kejawen clothes are able to elevate the wearer's self-image. Kejawen clothing provides a new nuance in education circles in Central Java province which is worn every Thursday starting in 2015. Kejawen is worn by all teachers in schools equipped with Kromo Javanese both to fellow school residents and students during lessons. The Javanese language is currently a language that must be preserved considering that in the technological era, all use millennial languages. The Javanese Kromo language is an innovation carried out by the government in order to preserve eastern culture which prioritizes language politeness traditions. Javanese Kromo language is able to create a realm of communication that provides classification, conditions, socio-cultural background, and individual roles in life. The school environment is an important vehicle for providing real learning from role models regarding polite dress code and polite language procedures for students as the next generation of the nation. This research method uses qualitative, the validation uses theoretical triangulation, the analytical technique used is a qualitative descriptive study with an ethnographic approach. The results show that wearing traditional Kejawen clothing shows pride as a generation in preserving culture. Meanwhile, the use of Kromo Javanese can provide self-confidence, set an example for the next generation in the school environment, be able to adapt and uphold Kromo Javanese as an effort to realize the tradition of language politeness which is fading nowadays.Keywords: Javanese clothing, Kromo Javanese, politeness culture","PeriodicalId":355129,"journal":{"name":"Jurnal Javanologi","volume":"28 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126838629","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study uses qualitative research methods described descriptively. It is expected to be able to reveal the meaning that exists from the thoughts and actions of the object of research. For the delivery to be more open and natural, it is presented with a descriptive-analytical model. There are three steps of qualitative data processing, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions and verification. A puppet is a picture of human nature with all its behavior. In a moral sense, wayang is defined as a fairy tale about the story of a good character in the form of a hero fighting a bad character. Wayang is a portrait of life containing sanepa, piwulang, and pituduh. Wayang contains habits of life, and human behavior experienced from birth, life, and death, all of which are natural processes. Puppets became a medium of Islamic development by Sunan Kalijaga as a cultural da'wah that embeds Islam in the culture of society. Wayang by Sunan Kalijaga keeps it as a space for spirituality to encourage the spirit which is expected to encourage the Javanese people to be patient, trustful, and istiqomah (Consistent). Wayang is an effective da'wah (preaching) medium for the Javanese community in which it contains eastern aesthetic elements such as balance, unity, philosophy of life, ethics, and spirituality. Wayang is an emphasis on the balance of the microcosm and macrocosm, which has a balance between God, humans and other living beings, government and people, and symbols as the essence of being. Wayang is a way of life (mabda al-hayah) for the Javanese people to achieve the perfection of life seen where the view is centered on the concept of harmony. This concept is built on two main foundations: the need to avoid conflict and have an attitude of living in harmony. Both attitudes toward life must be carried out based on a respectful attitude that aims to create harmony in life. Puppets, in principle, seek to encourage the process of memayu hayuning pribadi (personal beautification), memayu hayuning keluarga (family beautification), memayu hayuning bangsa (national beautification), dan memayu hayuning bawana (global beautification).","PeriodicalId":355129,"journal":{"name":"Jurnal Javanologi","volume":" 32","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"113952998","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
