The proposed observer is based on a well-known transformation of the partial differential equation describing the CSD to a set of ordinary differential equations (the method of moments). Due to numerical difficulties resulting from the important differences in the magnitudes of the moments, a set of new variables is computed to allow a good estimation of the moments and thus the mean crystal size. In this work, only solute concentration and crystallizer temperature are used to estimate the different moments. In this study, we focus on the benchmark masks of the literature that are namely: the ideal binary mask (IBM), the binary mask (BM) and soft mask. Each system is evaluated objectively and subjectively in order to highlight the effect of each mask on the intelligibility and the quality of the separated speech. Based on this study we develop a new system, that we call Soft-CASA for SCSS that outperforms the original one. The latter would be a heterogeneous wireless environment in which different access networks must coexist to reach a compromise between mobility, transparence and performance. In the current paper, we focus on increasing the performances of UMTS and WIMAX heterogeneous networks by the integration of the concept of Multihoming. Solar cell antenna is a combination of Solar cell and Microstrip antenna. Solar Cell Antenna design is mainly used in autonomous property for transceiver. The objective of this work was to use photovoltaic solar cells in patch antenna structures. The radiating patch element of a patch antenna was replaced by a solar cell. Direct Current (DC) generation remained the original feature of the solar cell, but additionally it was now able to receive and transmit electromagnetic waves. Here, we used a new patch antenna structure based on a photovoltaic solar cell. It was then used to collect photo-generated current as well as Radio Frequency (RF) transmission. A mathematical model which would serve the minimization of power losses of the cell and therefore the improvement in the conversion efficiency was studied. A simulation allowed analyzing the performance of the antenna, with a silicon material, and testing its parameters such as the reflection coefficient (S11), gain, directivity and radiated power. The performance analysis of the solar cell patch antenna was conducted using Advanced Design System (ADS) software. At the work, with our PDP and smart phones, for our daily help, our security and many other utilities, face recognition has crossed the laboratory doors and colonized the human quotidian. However, the effectiveness of the developed applications still encounters many challenges. The presented work in this paper tries to deal with these challenges by proposing an advanced characterization way to enrich the feature vectors used by the classifiers to verify or identify faces. This process was done by compiling three types of feature vectors. Each type encapsulates a specific type of face information. At first, we compile a feature vector related to the geometric information of the face using Zernike moments; then spectral components using DCT are extracted to form the second type of feature vectors and finally, the last feature vector type is formed by compiling the texture and luminance information using LBP. The three vector types are then combined to form an enriched feature vector which was post-processed through a feature selection method then presented to the input of a neural network classifier. The impulse test is assessed at the beginning to deduce the basis of the identification algorithm, due to its uncomplicated physical interpretation. The remaining typical test signals are then inferred easily. These test procedures lead to a mathematical formulation allowing the simultaneous online identification of time delay and the parameters of FOPDT model. The robustness property of the proposed method is enhanced due to the convolution by the sigmoid function. The identification problem is solved using the Levenberg-Marquardt algorithm. Being capable of collecting a huge amount of spatial, temporal and spatiotemporal data in real-time. These systems are required to ensure quick storage in databases, faster queries, manipulate temporal sequences. Also, for the system robustness to avoid main access memory congestion. In order to meet their needs, we propose in this paper a data indexing technique called Captree, which enables the indexation of data provided by fixe sensors. The adopted algorithm is performed on enhanced tri-dimensional data mesh. The enhancement stage aims to upgrade the quality of the scanned data by inhibiting noises, correcting missing information and smoothing the surface. Then, Gaussian curvatures and mean curvatures are calculated from principal curvature computation in furtherance of feature extraction. Next, referential curvature points are selected and utilized to perform the matching process.
