These exams are mainly Multi-Choice Questions, MCQ, and four20-minute essays. The MCQ exams are as few as 16 questions to a maximum of 140 questions. A score of 75% is neededto pass each exam, and each question has three possible answers. This authors of this paper reviews the theory and designof the MCQ and asks if the assumptions are valid andthat it achieves the academic level assumed for engineers who willbe maintaining some of the most complex system in the world, and the safety of passengers. This paper reports the results of applying this approach at the University of Yucatán. During 2014, a “Social Project” was developed in the community of Yaxunah (“Green house”, in Mayan language), Yucatán. Students from several disciplines (engineering, architecture, medicine, biology, social service and agro-ecology) followed an ecosystem approach to improve the health and the environment of the community. The specific goal was to improve the backyards (here after referred as patios) of the houses in the community. In the Mayan culture, the patio is the family’s reunion center, since it has several purposes. In this space are located: the kitchen, bathroom, garden, pet area, and, in many instances, livestock. Faculty, students and community partners worked closely together over six months, finding the best ways to improve their patios and houses using local materials, and their own labor, while taking care of the environment. After the project’s completion, members of the community reported their experiences as a very productive one, helping them to maintain the patios’ sustainability and family health. This paper presents a design and implementation of Passive MEMS based voltage generation using temperature. The design is made with two stages, in the first part the temperature is converted to displacement using Micro actuators and then in the second stage the displacement is converted to pressure and then to voltage using piezoelectric sensors. It is simulated using COMSOL multiphysics software at a temperature of 100o C. As a result, the development of the high-frequency inverteris extremely limited. This paper analyzes the characteristics of the IGBT and MSP430 and then designs a high-frequencyinverter control circuit based on MSP430. The PWM control wave is outputted in software by MSP430, and the PWMwave is amplified by the driver circuit for driving the half-bridge inverter main circuit made up of two IGBT components.Controllability includes adjustable frequency, variable duty cycle and dead time variable and several other aspects ofPWM waves. This design realizes reducing losses and improving the efficiency of the overall circuit purposes. Meanwhile,the other circuit configuration such as driver and protection circuits in the entire system are also made somecorresponding design description. Finally, the design of the control system is made further verification by IAR softwaredownload debugging. The final results prove that PWM control circuit based on drive and protection circuits can workand the frequency, duty cycle, dead time of the PWM can be adjusted.
