There is no simple correspondence between faults and symptoms, but they are interrelated and intricate. The existing fault diagnosis of ship engine room is mostly based on expert system, but the bottleneck of knowledge acquisition, lack of learning ability and the complexity and efficiency of the expert system are restricting its further development. In order to overcome the above shortcomings of expert system, the support vector machine (SVM) is introduced into the expert system, and the support vector machine (SVM) is used to solve the problem of small sample self-learning ability and high-dimensional space self-adaptation ability. The expert system is used to achieve the automatic knowledge acquisition and rapid logical reasoning. Knowledge base management and maintenance, symbolic reasoning and related explanations, and give full play to the advantages of both SVM and expert system. Finally, the fault diagnosis of marine diesel engine booster system is introduced as an example. Firstly, the paper studies the overall design scheme and the basic working principle of the car system. Secondly, the control flow of the software system of the two wheeled balancing car is deeply studied, and the double closed loop control of DC motor speed position is adopted to realize the normal operation of the car. Then, in the process of debugging, the three parameters of the virtual decomposition of the car system (the vertical ring, the speed loop, the steering ring) were tested respectively. In the end, the prototype of the two wheeled balancing car is debugged, and the running test is carried out for the obstacle free and the obstacles. The main advantage of using selfcompaction concrete is, achieving the required strength without using the vibrators. In the present study, marble powderwas added with self-compaction concrete and their properties were studied. In Oman, marble factories produced marblepowders around 20-25% of total quantity of marbles by polishing and processing of marble blocks. These factories arefacing problem to dump those powders as landfill. These waste can be used as partially or completely replacement ofcement in concrete. In the present study, marble powders were mixed with C60 grade concrete as partial replacement ofcement (0%, 5%, 01% and 15%). Biofuels are normally divided into three categories: solid biomass, liquid fuel and biogases. Each group does notonly effectively describe the form of the fuel, but also hints at the uses for which the fuel is intended. The growing concernwith greenhouse gas emissions and global warming can hardly have escaped anyone's attention. Being in many respectsthe most talked about topic of the new century, it should be now common knowledge thathumanity’srelies onfossil fuelsas energy sources is gradually wrecking the ozone layer that protects the world from the less endearing powers of thesun. Yet the increasingly palpable threat of global warming and its consequences has at least resulted in a growingawareness of the problems inherent to oil-based economies. In this paper the focus is on a toxic plant known as“Jatropha”. It is a genus of approximately 175 succulent plants, shrubs and trees. It is resistant to drought and pests,and producesseedscontaining 27-40%oil,averaging 34.4%.[1]Theremaining press cake of jatropha seeds after oilextraction could also be considered for energy production. Every year huge quantity of steel scrap is produced from drilling the steel plates and other related works. Disposing of those steel scrap is a major issues in Oman and all over the world. Landfill is one of the method for disposing the scraps however it produces soil pollution. Also in Oman, there is no waste separation system, therefore all the waste materials are dumped in soil especially in the desert and it is harmful to the environment.  In the present study, steel scrap is added with concrete and the mechanical and physical properties were studied. Three tests were conducted such as slump test to measure the workability of fresh concrete, compressive strength test and corrosion test. In total, four various mixes were prepared with and without steel scrap. The first mix was normal mix without any steel scrap and the remaining three mixes were concrete with adding steel scrap with 1%, 2% and 3%. Concrete made with Ordinary Portland Cement is the most widely used material in all thecountries. Hence the production of Ordinary Portland Cement is expensive and ecologically harmful. Cement industriesreleasing huge quantity of CO2which pollute the environment. Structural concrete can be produced using sunflower seedhusk ash to meet strength and other requirements. In this project work, various percentages of SSHA added with concreteandthe mechanical properties where studied. The effects of SSHA as partial replacement of cement on concrete propertieswas investigated. Concrete was produced by adding various amount of SSHA (2.5%, 5%, and 7.5%). From the literaturereview it has been noticed that the replacement of sunflower seed husk ash in concrete was very successful in reducing ofunit weight, compressive strength, splitting tensile strength and freezing-thawing resistance. But water absorption rate isincreased after 28 and 90 days.
