It aims to enhance retrieval accuracy in 3D model database systems. During the retrieval process, the system learns from the related samples marked by the user after each feedback, and update the training sample set with the previous returns. Thus an SVM classifier model is established and improved iteratively to retrieve. This method has strong generalization ability when the number of samples is small. In addition, this paper compares the performance of SVM with different kernel functions and the performance of SVM with the same kernel function using different low-level features.","PeriodicalId":354322,"journal":{"name":"2010 Asia-Pacific Conference on Wearable Computing Systems","volume":"79 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-04-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122456850","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this case, it is difficult to predict accurately the distribution of inter-well reservoir parameters and the rich region of residual oil. Thus it is an emphasis to build a fine reservoir model, as available knowledge is limited about reservoir geometries, variogram based on stochastic modeling can be an appropriate method, where it is possible to acknowledge trends, reservoir direction continuity, facies fractions and heterogeneity of physical property. This paper puts the seismic, well logging, geological and develop dynamic research results all together, and focus a variety of stochastic modeling methods to achieve facies-controlled property modeling, ensuring the three-dimensional quantitative geological model reasonable.","PeriodicalId":354322,"journal":{"name":"2010 Asia-Pacific Conference on Wearable Computing Systems","volume":"47 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-04-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132169675","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The application domains are disparate, ranging from video surveillance to automatic video annotation for sport videos or TV shots. Whatever the application field, most of the works in video analysis are based on two main approaches: the former based on explicit event recognition, focused on finding high level, semantic interpretations of video sequences, and the latter based on anomaly detection. In this paper, we deals with the first approach, where the final goal is to labeling of recognized video event. In order to achieve the goal of automated analysis and annotate events in videos, we have developed a novel video analysis and trajectory based video annotation system called VATAS. The system involves four main modules, which include global motion estimation, motion object detection, object tracking and video annotation. Experimental results prove the validity of the proposed approach.","PeriodicalId":354322,"journal":{"name":"2010 Asia-Pacific Conference on Wearable Computing Systems","volume":"42 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-04-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127444504","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The loss of topsoil through erosion results in a significant loss in productivity. The subsoil remains is likely to be incapable of supporting viable agricultural enterprises. Runoff from eroding landscapes contains sediment and any nutrients, fertilizers or pesticides that were present in the soil. Assessment on soil erosion hazard is essential for soil conservation plans of a mountainous region for sustainable development. The objective of this study was to predicting soil erosion process and mapping soil erosion hazard of Yizi (Rehe district, Sichuan province, P.R.China) following RS(remote sensing) and GIS based on modeling approach using derived soil, land cover and DEM derived terrain slope map and ancillary data of soil characteristics and rainfall as inputs. Integrated predicting approach resulted in five classes of soil erosion hazard from low to high in this study area with numerical values of the Soil Loss Equation (SLE). The results shows that RS and GIS are indeed valuable tools for predicting soil erosion process and soil erosion hazard mapping by integration of soil erosion controlling parameters.","PeriodicalId":354322,"journal":{"name":"2010 Asia-Pacific Conference on Wearable Computing Systems","volume":"14 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-04-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125375621","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The intensity component is decomposed in multi-scale by using strong edge capture ability of support vector machine, and the coefficients in different scales are obtained. Then abundant high frequency information is obtained by combining with directional filter bank. Reconstructed image is obtained through enhancing coefficients of high frequency and suppressing coefficients of low frequency. The saturation component is processed by exponential expand method, while the hue component is invariant. Experiments show that thin cloud can be removed efficiently by using the method introduced in this paper.","PeriodicalId":354322,"journal":{"name":"2010 Asia-Pacific Conference on Wearable Computing Systems","volume":"17 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-04-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125396886","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
