Due to these circumstances, the calculation of the current month’s electricity consumption is equated with the previous month, and customers can be harmed. The purpose of this research is to take a physical photo of the kWh meter showing the electrical power consumption and send it to WhatsApp. Firstly, it needs to set the timer on the DS3231, which determines the date for activating the esp32-cam to take kWh meter pictures and upload them to the server. Next, esp8255 downloads those photos from the server. Finally, esp8255 sends them to the WhatsApp application. In this study, the results were obtained in the form of an Internet of Things (IoT)-based smart home device system. The WhatsApp application is a notification media, taking pictures of analog kWh meters in 3–5 seconds with throughput, reliability, and availability values of 189 bps, 96%, and 95.97%, respectively.","PeriodicalId":351870,"journal":{"name":"PROtek : Jurnal Ilmiah Teknik Elektro","volume":"47 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131907527","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The use of electrical power can only be seen through the kWh meter measuring instrument and only shows the cumulative amount of electrical energy used. The analog panel design constraint only displays aggregate consumption data, not real-time. This study aims to develop an energy management system through Internet of Things communication for monitoring and controlling electrical devices in MSME sector buildings. Designer of a real-time measurement system that can read the parameters of the amount of electricity consumed so that MSME users can monitor the use of electricity consumption quickly and accurately via the internet and become a solution for more efficient monitoring work. The monitoring system is designed for load groups in buildings by using the ESP32 NodeMCU as a data processor for data received from the PZEM-004T sensor and sent directly to the Blynk server so that the data can be monitored and controlled on the Blynk interface via a smartphone. The data displayed on the Blynk application is in the form of voltage (volts), current (amperes), power (watts), electrical energy (kWh), and electricity usage rates in rupiah in real-time. The results of the study obtained show that the proposed method can read the energy consumption data of the electrical load used with an error value of 0.54% in voltage measurement and an error value of 2.93% in current measurement and has a delay in sending data to the monitoring application of an average of 3 seconds. The proposed draft Energy Management System can improve electricity efficiency if applied to solve the problem of electrical energy consumed in MSME sector buildings.","PeriodicalId":351870,"journal":{"name":"PROtek : Jurnal Ilmiah Teknik Elektro","volume":"313 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116625072","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In the industrial sector, robots are used to replace human roles in order to produce more effective and efficient work. The use of robots is also carried out in jobs with a high level of risk, one of which is search and rescue (SAR). In its development, the use of robots for SAR requires high flexibility and effectiveness in carrying out movements for finding and extinguishing hotspots as well as rescuing victims. So, in this research, a movement control system will be designed for a legged robot. The robot's design consists of four legs. Each leg of the robot is integrated with three servo motors, so that each leg movement will have three degrees of freedom. Tests are carried out to determine the speed of the robot in various directions of movement by changing the rotation angle of the servo on each leg. The test results show that a legged robot can accelerate at a maximum speed of 0.066 m/s.","PeriodicalId":351870,"journal":{"name":"PROtek : Jurnal Ilmiah Teknik Elektro","volume":"4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134000046","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The demand for good quality and fresh fruit requires technological advances and supporting systems that can be used in the fruit processing industry to produce the best quality fruit. Referring to this, this study aims to detect the type and maturity of fruit using machine learning with the CNN (Convolutional Neural Network) method using the function of a camera that is integrated with the program algorithm. This research is a refinement of previous research that has been made at the university by increasing the ability to read objects based on color with different methods. In this programming language, Python also requires several additional libraries to carry out the object detection process, namely by using the cvzone library as the main library. This study shows that the detection of fruit and ripeness using the CNN method was successful in detecting the type and maturity of the fruit. In the design and trial of this research, it can run well according to the algorithm created by the researcher. The success rate and accuracy of the detection of the type and maturity of this fruit reach 90%.","PeriodicalId":351870,"journal":{"name":"PROtek : Jurnal Ilmiah Teknik Elektro","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132519455","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In order to maximize the utilization of the existing 5G network in Indonesia, Telkomsel providers are using a frequency of 2.3 GHz with a bandwidth of 50 MHz. So we need an antenna amplifier that is easy to fabricate and place anywhere to maximize the signal capture range. A microstrip antenna is a suitable antenna for this amplifier. The advantage of this antenna is that it has a light mass and is easy to fabricate. while the drawbacks come in the form of narrow bandwidth and small gains. Therefore, an antenna design with an artificial substrate and array technique was made to overcome this. The design of this microstrip antenna was made in the CST Studio Suite 2019. The design was carried out by entering the antenna dimension values to be simulated and seeing the parameters; if they are not suitable, then they need to be optimized again, and when they are appropriate, the design results are fabricated and printed. In testing the signal capture power using the Xirrus WiFi Inspector, this antenna was able to capture the signal beam, which was 105 meters or 40 meters further than not using the antenna. In addition, from testing, it is known that this antenna has a gain of 16.15 dBi. While in the simulation, it is also known that this antenna has the following characteristics: return loss: -32,353 dB (S11), -32,737 dB (S22), -33,974 dB (S33), -34,423 dB (S44), VSWR: 1,049 (VSWR 1), 1,047 (VSWR 2), 1.040 (VSWR 3), 1.038 (VSWR 4), impedance: 50.7 -111 MHz.","PeriodicalId":351870,"journal":{"name":"PROtek : Jurnal Ilmiah Teknik Elektro","volume":"171 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123267388","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study underscores the importance of using this fingerprint sensor for motorcycle security. The formulation of the problem in this study is how much electricity is required in the motorcycle battery for this fingerprint security system. This system uses various components, such as the R503 fingerprint sensor, Arduino Uno, buzzer, 4-channel relay, ignition key, and motorcycle starter. Testing of this system is performed by inserting a finger in a wet, oily, dusty, or normal condition, and the result is that this sensor is capable of detecting the entire condition of the finger. Attempts to start a motorcycle with all ten fingers showed that the left index finger started faster under normal conditions, in 1.55 seconds compared to the manual method, which took 2.05 seconds longer. It also measures power consumption and calculates how long the battery can power this device. The result is that the battery can power this device for 180 hours without interruption","PeriodicalId":351870,"journal":{"name":"PROtek : Jurnal Ilmiah Teknik Elektro","volume":"16 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130075924","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The reliability of the power distribution system is strongly influenced by the duration and frequency of the disturbance, causing customers not to receive electrical energy. This reliability is measured by indices called SAIFI, SAIDI, and CAIDI. The method used to calculate the failure rate required to determine the reliability indexes are the section technique and Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA). The results obtained using the FMEA method are better results. Compared to PLN's SAIFI and SAIDI standards, the Malili feeder is still quite reliable, because its value is smaller than the PLN standard. However, when compared to the IEEE standard, this Malili feeder is not categorized as reliable because the SAIFI value obtained is still higher. While for SAIDI the value is still below the IEEE standard. To improve the reliability index of this feeder, it is necessary to add a protection component to localize the fault.","PeriodicalId":351870,"journal":{"name":"PROtek : Jurnal Ilmiah Teknik Elektro","volume":"47 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-09-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124464490","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
