Unlike previous research on feature fusion, we propose an attention module based on spatial and channel dimensions. This module derives attention maps respectively from spatial and channel, then for feature refinement we multiply the attention map into the feature map. Meanwhile, the module can be easily embedded into the network structures due to it is lightweight. The channel attention module selectively enhances some feature channels and suppresses certain feature channels by integrating the relationship between each feature channel. By weighting the features of all locations, spatial attention module aggregates location features. Regardless of distance, similar features are interrelated. Our module is evaluated through experiments on the ImageNet-1K and CIFAR-100 datasets.","PeriodicalId":351404,"journal":{"name":"2020 19th International Symposium on Distributed Computing and Applications for Business Engineering and Science (DCABES)","volume":"35 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116815914","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A hierarchical edge computing offloading framework based on emergency priority is proposed in this paper. A resource allocation and task scheduling optimization scheme based on service emergency priority is proposed to minimize the total delay of the system and ensure the minimum delay experienced by high priority services. Then, in order to ensure that the delay of high priority tasks is still minimum under very dense conditions, a dynamic priority task scheduling algorithm (DPTSA) is designed on the fog server. Simulation results show that the proposed system framework and algorithm can reduce the average delay of system tasks, and significantly reduce the delay of high priority tasks.","PeriodicalId":351404,"journal":{"name":"2020 19th International Symposium on Distributed Computing and Applications for Business Engineering and Science (DCABES)","volume":"24 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131582934","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, the integration of telehealth technologies into the provision of health services in general and speech therapy services, in particular, offers effective solutions to this challenge. Objectives: To analyze the current workflow in the speech therapy clinic at one of the specialist hospitals in Saudi Arabia and figure out the alternative solutions to maximize the treatment benefits. Methodology: Data collection was done for one month using qualitative methods, including process observation and informal conversations with three speech pathologists who work in the clinic. Result: The speech therapy provided services according to the general practice guidelines; however, these services can be improved by implementing a new therapy approach. Conclusion: Although there are many barriers to the use of telehealth in speech pathology, many of its benefits in clinical practice were identified. These benefits can be used to catalyze the expansion of the role of telehealth role speech therapy.","PeriodicalId":351404,"journal":{"name":"2020 19th International Symposium on Distributed Computing and Applications for Business Engineering and Science (DCABES)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130291615","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The traditional feature extraction method is not fully used to extract finger vein structure information. In this paper, discrete separable shearlet transformation (DSST) are used to extract finger vein features. DSST is used to decompose the image of finger vein, and the decomposition coefficient is obtained and analyzed. The experimental results show that this method can provide an effective and sparse feature description of the original finger vein image, and also obtain a good recognition effect when the quality of some images is poor.","PeriodicalId":351404,"journal":{"name":"2020 19th International Symposium on Distributed Computing and Applications for Business Engineering and Science (DCABES)","volume":"31 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121687525","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

According to the difference between the pair of sentence, we divide semantic sentence matching into two situations: Situation A is that the pair of sentences are worded with a context relationship, Situation B is that two are equal in semantics. Models for Situation A works in Situation B too, so prior deep work mostly model each sentence's representation considering the interaction of the other sentence simultaneously. However, models designed for Situation A bring redundant information for Situation B. In this paper, for sentence pairs with equivalence, we present a deep architecture with comparison-interaction separated to match two sentences, which based on Siamese network for comparison and multi-head attention for interaction information between sentence pairs. Experimental results on the latest Chinese sentence matching datasets outline the effectiveness of our approach.","PeriodicalId":351404,"journal":{"name":"2020 19th International Symposium on Distributed Computing and Applications for Business Engineering and Science (DCABES)","volume":"7 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131446253","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
